Rein Shiaa Veda (Hirano Aya)
9th Innovator in line. Looking like a 10 year old, he is actually a clone of Aeolia and is Veda himself. LOL, I guess it must be a loli trap. Really looking forward to this

But not much interaction if it happens anyway, ah well. I wonder if they'll make fun of it in ZKC. |

I see..
Anyway. I just had a good look at the Graham's new Masurao aka Gurren LaFlag. It looks like it has not 2, but 4 GN[T] Drives?.. Or are they just huge exhaust verniers connected to a single particle spewing GN[T] on the back? (Think Gundam GP04 Gerbera) Spoiler for Graham back 4 more:
Just for comparison, here's the pic of the Masurao in the hanger with its hip mounted verniers docked to -what looks like- GN[T] Drive support equipment. Spoiler for the Masurao in the hangar (episode 14):
The Masuroa either has: 1. 1 GN[T] Drive on the back spewing GN particles. And 4 large exhaust verniers on the shoulders and the hips. 2. 2 GN[T] Drives on the hips, 2 large exhaust verniers on the shoulders, and a large GN particle spewing one on the back. 3. 3 GN[T] Drives. 2 on the hips. 1 (actively spewing GN particles) on the back. And 2 large shoulder verniers. Perhaps it's even a hybrid GN[T] and plasma engined machine. Having the TRANS AM able GN[T] Drive for a few minutes worth of combat, while the plasma jets (much like the original Flag's) are for returning home when the GN[T] has died out after TRANS AM. lol if that's true, Billy must have did his maths and found out that a GN Drive has an output of 4, and Twin Drive makes is 16. So he had 4 Drives to make 16 as well.
But, 4 drives to go fast and power just 2 sabres? Graham has moved from Zengar to Wodan, powering his blade to reach for the stars.

The cylinders are about the right dimensions to be GN drives, minus the cone assembly and adding some armor. I suspect that the two black donut-looking things on the dorsal side of the Empress are its GN drives.
Given the seeming frailness of the Masurao's frame, though, I don't think it has a lot of GN condensers. That might drastically shorten its Trans-Am operating time. On top of that, I don't think Billy's Trans-Am is as efficient. A lot of sacrifices here for speed and power. |

However, since they're not spewing particles, while at the back there are GN particles released, I'm still not sure what to make of it. Perhaps this is its idling hover mode - spewing particles out the back and not via the exhaust verniers. Quote:

I think we should take this over to the tech thread
Empress is not transformable. The detaching claws should dispel any notion that those are legs. Plus there's no seam by those donut shaped things, so those can't be hinges. |

somehow, i got a feeling that this Rein Shia Veda appearance has something to do with Regene's secret agenda..... maybe he was aware that ribbons has distorting Aeolia's original plan and in attempt to make it back to how it supposed to be, he will awaking Rein Shia Veda...

The advantages on each side are nulled: CB Gundams don't have the opportunity to return to a port if they ever needed to recharge, so this way the Gundams and Ptolemy 2 are very autonomous and independent of a need for a fuel supply line. A-LAWS has the manpower to provide logistical support to its forces, so with a safe supply line they don't have to worry about operational limits.
