Also a yandere doesn't need to kill someone. Take Kaede from Shuffle! for example. Not to mention that there is also the type that kills her interest rather than others.

I wouldn't count on the accuracy of that article though, even less than on the accuracy of the translation.

I'm btw not even sure they spelled Alis name right as they do indeed pronounce it as 'Alice'.

So I would normally think that Alis saved Dee and fell and died instead. As a result, Dee wished him back alive. However, that does not explain the missing 17 students. Perhaps she's the one that wished for the loop as well as her life and the 17 are the ones that wished for his life in exchange for theirs which would explain why they're completely gone and Dee is dead while Alis is alive. Reason Dee wished for the loop could possibly because she wishes to replay those moments when he's practicing on the court. She's also not part of the loop since she wished for the loop?

So it seems to me as if she refuses to break the loop mainly for several reasons. One is that Alis would die and the second might be because Alis might find out that the class that he tried to save is actually no longer there since they've completely disappeared due to their wishes. Aargh, there are still holes in what I'm thinking now.

In terms of naming boys with girl names, you have Yuri. Well, it seems the official spelling is actually Julie so there you have it.

Don't think so because whoever fell out of the window, more than likely to hit their head depending on how they fell.

Not only that, in those 14 years of repeating, both Dee and Alis have blood on their hands (Alis killed everyone else in the class, and Dee killed Alis) so let see how that is part of it as well.

A ferris wheel is not really wierd btw.

There is a pretty pretty big one in vienna too, its in some kind of amusement park though.
Which is probably the same case here.
Those things are also built where you get a good overlook over the entire city so its not so out of the question for it being there.

This is only if you're assuming the flashback given by Dee to be the absolute truth. What we're questioning is the difference between what Dee said and what actually is written in the newspaper article which Ai herself have not fully read. She just assumed that the person died was Dee which Dee herself said is the truth. If it really is the truth, there's no need for Dee to take the newspaper excerpt and also quickly confirms what Ai thought.

So the question now I guess is which is the truth? The newspaper article or words from Dee? Dee has reasons to lie but the newspaper has less reasons to do so so I would question Dee at this point. She's definitely hiding something and even Alis himself does not know (not talking about her supposed death).
