I have absolutely no problem with shows like these. They know what they are and they don't pretend to be something else. IMHO, Lazarus |

So, Smash Hit! is fini. What a fitting ending.
Spoiler:
I wanted to laugh when Ikita had her breakdown. What a stupid reason for a breakdown doofus!!! Or at least, what a poorly conveyed reason for a breakdown. Spoiler:
"We understand some of Cosprayers was not suitable for a children's show" Some? It was not suitable for any child ever. Not suitable for any human being ever. They should have just made a porn flick. |

Aaawww, what a touching ending, lol. No seriously, I thought it was good ending. It brings a sense of closure to not only Smash Hit! but Cosprayers as well. They made good use of those 10 short minutes.
I must say, despite what anyone else says, I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I still smile when remembering that group picture they took at the end. |

Watch the begining of Ep 2 of Smash Hit. That's basically Cosprayers. It's that stupid and bad.
I think Smash Hit was a little more ecchi. No shower scenes or the like in Cosprayers. I don't remember any nudity either, but I'm not sure. Love Love is the really ecchi one. It's practically porn. I enjoyed Smash Hit somewhat. I like the way it made fun of Cosprayers. It wasn't very good in any other respect, though. Except the ED, I love it. |

I complain, but I really liked Smash Hit!. Cosprayers was bad, but somehow I find bad anime entertaining in a "oh my god this is so bad" way...Or I'm just a sadistic freak who has to compulsively watch anime...
The ecchi in the two series wasn't that bad, but there's definitely lots of it. |

DVD Fansubs
Triad seemed to make a commitment to fansubbing both the TV shows and the DVD releases for both CosPrayers and Smash Hit [I can't remember if it was at the beginning or the end of one of the shows, where they also made it clear that they were not subbing Love*Love].
Does anyone know if they intend to follow through on the DVD fansubs? |

Maybe you could help me understand: Do they add episodes to the DVDs, or do 4 TV episodes have additional footage added to them [or was the additional footage already there and removed for airing on TV, i.e. uncut]? If it's the latter [additional footage/uncut], is it common for the producers to choose just a handful of episodes to receive that kind of treatment for the DVD release, or more common for all the episodes to receive that kind of treatment for the DVD release?
