Well I finished the show the other day, and you guys I think already said everything there was to be said! I definitely need to recommend this show and I want to buy it on DVD, Blu-Ray would be amazing. The art, the music, the story-telling, they all suited each other so well and I thought that the ending was the best ending that this series could have (especially since it seemed likely that some characters would die by the end). So glad I decided to watch this.

Well I am a little late but as this was one of my favorite recent series I had to say something about the ending. Overall I was satisfied with the show. I really liked the themes of death & life the series presented. I am not sure if am completely satisfied with where Casshern ended up (being a symbol of death so to speak). I would rather he did not have to wander alone, it seems sort of depressing. I did like older Ringo though and I thought the two deaths were handled very well.
Overall I would give the show a B+ probably but the art in the show gets an A+. Definitely a very pretty looking series (and that is an understatement). |

i enjoyed this because it wasn't a particularly "happy" ending. shows like this need to be made as it keeps everyone grounded. to me, if it ended "happily ever after," i would have hated the show for that, since it would have gone against pretty much everything presented to us in the show.
on an off note, i've now listened to my favorite tracks on both OSTs 35+ times.. |

That it is. Kaoru Wada has been doing that to me since the early 90s, with his breath taking score for Tekkaman Blade. It's because of such material that's made him personally one of my favorite composers.

Here's a question.
There are two versions of Aoi Kage by Otoya Kichiemon. There's the one that plays in the background, and there's the one that plays as the ED for episode 13. The one that plays as the ED, is there a full version of it? In the special, only the KARAOKE of the full version is there, but not the actual song, aside from the ballad version. Anyone got to the bottom of that mystery? |

Kaoru Wada is the music composer of Tekkaman Blade??My God it can't be a coincidence that Tekkaman Blade was the reason I started watching anime..and now Casshern Sins is the reason to keep doing so...By the way I wonder if Tatsunoko are thinking about making a remake of the original series...with the modern technology Tekkaman Blade would kick ass....not to mention the great story,...But its a forum about Casshern Sins and not the proper place to discuss about it.

This ending made absolutely no sense.. it was full of contradictions.. Ringo growing up but it stated in the series that robots bearing life was a failed experiment! So how can a robot grow up? And what was the stone that was so special that it had to be hidden until the right one showed up? How is Ringo special? NOTHING was answered.. the entire ending just felt like it was thrown together like the writers forgot what the story was. This was one of them WTF?? type endings.. hate them.. just means the writers quit putting their heart into the story and just threw it together at the end.
