because of F/0 plotlines, they have to resolve the Sakura/Zouken plotline in this new F/SN, even if it is UBW as a base. It is still possible though, that Nasu ment it LITERALLY when he said it is an "unrelated work", but the fact that Sakura's VA was there, shows that she will probably have some role in it... I also think that Kirei's role will be more than jsut being backstabbed in the middle of the story.

I guess TM thinks the 2006 anime was good enough to not get rehashed. The UBW movie was a travesty though, so redoing that makes sense.

Also if it's split cour I am 100% confident it will air on Fate/Zero's old timeslot, midnight Sunday (or 24:00 Saturday) on Tokyo MX. Currently that slot is occupied by Aldnoah.Zero, which convenienty is confirmed to be split cour.

But this certainly explains why it took so much time... for them to produce... they were possibly working on both anime? Actually now I feel bad for Saber fans. They really got the shortest stick this time.

What happened in the Livestream, not necessarily in order, because I forgot it:

Fate/Stay Night Anime confirmed to be Unlimited Blade Works
Fate/strange Fake got an announcment, don't know what exactly though
Fate/Grand Order was announced
Fate/Capsule Servant was announced
Fate/Kaleid Liner[...]Zwei got a bit screentime too, although it is airing already
Fate/Hollow Ataraxia for PSVita got advertisment (not sure if it was already announced before or not)

At the very end there was a big troll. It seemed to be the 2nd PV of the anime at first, (everyone seemed quite a bit disappointed), then suddenly surprise: Heaven's Feel confirmed! (movie according to twitter) But no date was announced yet.

I just hope it will not be the same as the DEEN F/SN-UBW movie... But at least with this all of F/SN will be animated! Though we will probably have to wait until 2015 or even 2016 for it.


I can already see the comparisons people will make between the prologue of ufo UBW anime/DEEN fate anime, and later parts will be compared to DEEN UBW movie...

Heaven's Feel was that route I was most look forward to. A movie is too short to do the route much justice. If that was the case I rather they did no movie, because than we still would have the change of a Heaven's Feel anime series in the future.

There is a possibility it's not going to end badly, but that would mean HF would have to be drastically rewritten, making it not Heavens Feel anymore.

I mean ofc I wanted a full Heaven's Feel anime but I understand that UBW will also do a great job familiarizing the more mainstream audience with the characters and their servants, where Heaven's Feel kills off a lot of the main cast pretty quickly.

And there's always the off chance the Heaven's Feel movie is 4 hours released in two parts... (plz based Nasu God?)

Poor Illya though she is definitely getting rekt. I guess that's why they gave her her own spinoff series...

I was just going to ask this. I'll assume in the worst case it's only one movie, but since it's the longest VN route, they might do more than one. The movie format is actually better, considering the gore and everything in HF, they won't have to censor that much.

Official sources are calling it a "Theatrical Format" anime, which is the same term used for the Kara no Kyoukai movies as opposed to the more typical "Theatrical Feature" anime that is used for one-shot films.

I hope you are right and we are going to at least get 2 or 3 movies for Heaven's Feel. It would be a bit strange if Type-Moon would think they are able to adapt Heaven's Feel in one movie will they know it is longer than UBW, which is getting a 2 coeur anime series.

with 3 movies, the 2nd movie would probably be boring though, because it would be 70% cooking and everyday life with Sakura and would probably end with Sakura turning dark.

I think if they cut out most of those cooking contests, 2 movies would suffice. But 1 would make it end up like the DEEN UBW movie, I agree with that.

I hope they will at least include all the Kotomine scenes, including his introspection. He is one of my favorite characters in Fate/stay night.

From what is being said on Beast Lair it seems like the Fate route is going to get re-released on iOS.
