Being Satone is suffering. Seriously, why make her go trought this if we know she will lose anyway? It's frustrating, and I guess Rikka won't go for a change because the studio doesn't wants her into drama like S1.

so, when the director said "we're gonna go easy on Rikka now" he meant "yeah, don't worry about Rikka, it's SATONE who's gonna suffer a lot". While Rikka is the main character, and she's very cute (not as good looking, or something you'd think of a teenager, cute as what you would think of a cute child, you're not attracted to it, you just think it's funny/cute), she's not a good character, she's nothing compared to Satone. I mean, Yuuta and Rikka are more like Daughter/Father.

Really wanna see the letter that Rikka found and was supposed to be for Satone by Yuuta.
Anyways, a good episode, seeing Satone suffer was too much. And knowing it's not gonna end there, ouch

to be fair, this is not yuuta or rikka fault if her is suffering, is her own fault to not make the right things, just because she dont have any chance by now this dont means who she can't at last try to resolve this.

this is the point of this last "arc"(her arc), in order to proper move she must stop to "hidding" things and have a proper talk with yuuta and rikka or just yuuta and even if she get rejected, at last she will be aware who she was rejected and dont have any hopes, than just pouing in the "maybe or if", this is the point.

rikka already have her happy now, she have her friends, her world and her love, yuuta have the person who he love and the connection with his "funny life" who he lost and now is treasuring(even if its embarrasing he still like his chu2byou), nibutani is also slowly become what she is true and not just "aways putting a mask" like she tried, and deko, being deko, everyone is get his own happy ending(excluding the ishikika who is the toilet of the series(poor guy)), now is satone turn to havy her happiness(this dont means who she need yuuta to have it).

what annoy me was that random umbrella that Yuuta just happen to find in the floor, what were the odds? is like everything is against Shichimiya.

Felt very bad for Sophia. She really is a good girl who made a bad decision and is now suffering for it.

I have a sinking feeling that by the end of this, Rikka is going to drag Yuuta back into his delusions and then we'll have another sociopath on our hands. Not looking forward to him possibly regressing.

...? What do you mean? The Chuunibyou in this show have issues, to put it mildly, but there's no sociopathy with them. (Well, Dekomori has nigh-nonexistent empathy, but she still cares about people.)

If you start a love triangle on episode 20 out of 24 what do you honestly expect? It made it impossible to think she had any real chance, which arguably cheapened the whole experience.

Poor Shichimiya. Almost dropped my tablet when the surprise attack occurred...poor girl. She has definitely gone through soo much even before Rikka. But I guess she has to suffer the consequences of her past decision. I wonder how she gets over this though? Cant wait.

well look like a triangle is coming yet give satone is right now feel of being 3rd wheel & yet crying for yuta oh boy yea wonder to happen next?

give satone feeling for yuta starting to rise give got toka wonder get nibutani, kumin, & dekomori to spy on satone for see if got feeling on yuta.

yet when it come to rain yet like satone manage keep it quite til "surprise attack" of yuta yea step on triangle landmine has happen.

No such thing as love triangle. If someone told me that there was I would laugh at that person. Not after a whole season of advantage.

Yeah, this is really not a love triangle as a well cemented couple (if they make sense as a couple does not matter, they are the OTP to the writers) + the one who made a mistake, in essence it's like watching Linda from Golden Time all over again...

i dont call a perfect clone of linda, since in linda case until now she was basically done nothing, we never see her try to do anything toward her crush in banri, while here we see satone desesperate try to surprass her love to yuuta and ending fail thanks to yuuta critical hit and the famou MC trait of not notice "love hints' from girls, this is something who bug me a lot, why 70 to 90% of mcs have this problem to notice love hints from girls???, even if yuuta is so deep in love with rikka, see satone acting all that "weird"(even for a chu2byou) and all her suffer and the guy still "dense" omg this is what i really hate in japanese romance, the power of male denses who can't see when a girl is in love with him until is too late.

and like some peoples told this is not a "love triangle" is just a "trial" for sophia" because in the beginner never had a fight or a chance, when she pop-up already too late for her, even if she try to pull something will be efortless, cuz yuuta i deadly in love with rikka and their are only left is a kiss to "seal the pact", she is just hitting a dead horse at this point.

Seeing Sophia break down at the end like that was painful to watch. If not for that surprise attack, I'd say that she handled the matter pretty well.

I don't understand people saying love triangle this and love triangle that. Shichimiya cannot "lose" anything she never even had to begin with. She made her choices and Yuuta's made his. She's not even a contender, let alone in the running. That fact in itself is half of what her suffering is even about.

Anyway, yes. Her breakdown at the end, boy... That was hard to swallow. Poor girl. I really like how they handled it overall, too. I went into this episode a tiny bit afraid that they were going to make Satone do some sort of gigantic outburst in front of all of the characters and make a big scene, but no. It burned slowly throughout the episode, and when it did finally come out, it was simple but strong and in a secluded environment. I'm personally pleased.

Even though I like Yuuta and Rikka, I always feel bad for the loser. T_T

I give Shichimiya props for trying to settle it head on and try to put an end to it herself quickly though.

This was the only annoying part of the episode, but well in line with anime leads--although Yuuta deserves credit for being steadfastly loyal to Rikka and not becoming a harem lead. But his inability to recognize what was happening with Shichimiya, until *perhaps* the end, is inconsistent with how sensible and emotionally aware he's been with regards to Rikka.

Still, I thought the episode for the most part very well done. And I'm pretty sure the writers will figure out a way for Shichimiya to get some closure--she's really stolen the show this season and upstaged Rikka, so I'm sure the writers will try to make sure she doesn't end the series utterly miserable.
