You can obtain school pictures with relative ease... The class photograph, everyone had, but the single portraits were on the classroom computer, so she said she got it from there... She only told me this at a much later date... Now looking back I broke the ice when I asked her around my house... I didn't fancy her as such, but I liked her as a person and this is proven by our constant correspondence even today. She's also incredibly loud and confident these days, and usually swears jokingly that I'll experience a horrible death if I were to tell anyone about it. |

Not a compliment on me but something that happened involving me.
We have a saying here (thats you probably have also but im not sure) that says "I wouldn't spit on her" to express your appreciation of a girl's look. Well after I said that about a girl my friend went and proceeded to spit on her, was kinda freaky at first but he made his point. |

From a Chinese person:
"I like how thick and curly your hair is." From a white person: "I love how straight your hair is." My hair is straight in comparison to a white persons, but when compared to other Chinese people, it's quite curly because it's that thick. (not really that curly though) |

no adorable is definitely not a fake compliment and it's not the same as cute. It's a few steps above cute actually. To me, adorable is similar to beautiful in an innocent/pure way. If I called someone adorable (and I have a few times), it definitely means that I like them a lot (at least the way they look).

the weirdest compliment I got from Girls
"you have pretty eye lashes/eyebrows" " I want to use your ass as a pillow or a picnic table" one time I laughed so hard in high school some girl next to me also laughed and said that I have a funny rape face "you could feed a whole family with those legs" from dudes "are you sure you are mexican?I thought you were asian" at the gym" nice looking arms/shoulders let me feel them" "dude, I love your manly mustache" there are more but I feel they are a little too weird to even post here.

Well, some lady friends of mine complimented my fingers and nails. They said that mines are “pretty” (whatever that means ). The funny thing is, I never care about my fingers and nails outside from health reasons. I cut my nails when they become too long and I don’t even bother to make them look nice. Weird...

in my language, the word "gay" can be used for compliments and often used by parent to their childs, but ever since i know what the word "gay" in english mean, it just feel weird everytimes my father say "you so gay" (which can be translated as "you're so good" or sometimes "i'm proud of you, son")
