Her mod2 form is a complete upgrate of every slots except the second one that doesn't change at all. If anything, mod2 has better performance in term of initial air strike, slot survivability and all bomber tactic.

10FP is only an issue when she is in chuuha. When she is higher than that, she doesn't have that much trouble to reach the day battle damage cap.

If you want Sara Mod II to Night battle you have to sacrifice the 13 Plane slot though.
So if you want her to night battle they will end up with the same total amount of planes.

Then why even bother mentioning that "issue"? Planes slots is arguably not a problem at this point, unless you absolutely need more AA, while being unable to insure attack when in Chuuha. In that case, Sara MKII is barely better because that extra 6 slot plane doesn't really give any peculiar advantage whatsoever, except maybe axuliary planes or FCF.

And mentioning Shoukaku is even worse in that situation simply because Shoukaku would fare worse than Saratoga mod2 in her Kou modefor initial bombing if you equip her for night battle, and Regular Shoukaku kai ni barely have 1 extra plane slot compared to Sara mod2, and that's considering Shoukaku kai ni just have 5 extra FP but no armored property at all.

So no, even with Night battle equipments in mind, Sara mod2 isn't inferior to other CV with the same setup, far from it.

@AC Phoenix CVB form is STILL more useful for Sara. You want to bring her to the boss node, in orange condition at worst. So she can still fight.

The meatball might be useful in those event maps where you are in single fleet and can bring CV/L/B while being confident in gaining AS. And are desperate enough to bring enough guns for the night battle at the boss.

As demonstrated, the meatball allow ALL carriers to attack at night.

When I have time, I will test night comp with Ark Royal. Her unique night battle attack with swordfish is pretty weak, but I'm curious if it can combine with the TBM and N fighter.

So the remaining member of that ill fated group would be Suzutsuki's sistership Fuyutsuki, who also survived the operation and war, though damaged.

now Suzutsuki is being introduce ....fuck me and fishing is coming....ohh fawk... Been wasting my rsc to lvl Ark and Sara to lvl 99 this fall event will be a salty for me it seem.

Does anyone have an idea how to get past node C in 6-4?

I tried west first, which seems more reliable in getting to the boss, but can't actually beat it.

Then I saw some posts stating that
Ooyodo, 20.3. x2 + 2x WG
3 DD (Aka Ducky) a CAV and aBB can actually do it.

However every time I try that something in node C is shooting my ships down.

I just reached the BP dilemma. I can K2 Sara or Zui, not both since just enough medals for one BP. On you opinion, who could be more useful in the meantime?

If you already have Shoukaku K2, then probably Sara.

Related note to Zuikaku:
Has anyone tried whether the Iwamoto Flight counts as hidden night plane?
I know it doesn't have the specific icon, but if I remember that right Iwamoto was known for conducting night landings without needing a radar.

Is 44 armor able to offset 625 hp? (I'm talking about armors above 300 compared to armor that doesn't(high armor range still)).
