I would have never thought that this was going to happen. Everybody reuniting and all. This episode was pure badass. I laughed so hard when sasuke said that he was going to be hokage. This episode was pretty awesome!

Blegh these episodes are so slow. Especially when they fill half of them up with dumb flashbacks.
When Shikamaru said "This is a war", it kinda felt weird. Sure this "war" has been going on for ages, but it doesn't really feel like a war. None of this has felt like a war. Usually a war is between several states or countries fighting each other. Here it's just the entire world fighting a dumb monster. Can it even be called a war? I thought a war could only be declared by the head of a government.

Yeah, this arc never felt like a war even when the giant monster hadn't appeared yet. From the start this arc has been nothing more than an excuse to have a series of fancy matchups, with no underlying narrative.
Just one of the reasons why this arc is terrible over all. |

this episode wasn't very good, but most of them lately have been good. i was really looking forward to this time since the stupid war is basically over. no more zombies (madara aside) and no more zetsu fodder. at least it's become somewhat personal with somewhat real stakes. it's certainly more exciting than mowing down a bunch of already dead people and zetsus. |

And so Orochimaru's bumbling villain-turned-good group saves the day. Orochimaru sure is a man of colorful metaphors.
Tsunade looks pretty disgusting when she's all wrinkly. Is that honestly her real age? She can't be much older than Jiraiya, and he actually looked pretty young. To be honest, I'd probably rather stay wounded than get healed by those disgusting snails. Even just seeing one nearly makes me puke, I couldn't stand to have them crawling all over me. Gross. And of course, Naruto treats his summon like a pal, Sakura is humble, and Sasuke is a douche. He's probably the only guy who doesn't give a shit about what happens to his summons.

I think that tsunade has rapidly aged due to her forbidden medical jutsus. it's similar to how naruto would have rapidly aged if he kept getting wounded by his own rasen-shuriken and then healing so much afterward every time, which is why he had to learn to throw it

Wait.. Sakura can summon?
I either missed it before or it's a new thing. Sakura's healing powers have truly evolved to a high level. Summoning the familiars was a good move. Naruto & Sasuke make a great attack team. Tsunade got seriously injured and reverted to her true form.. Suigetsu and the snails ROFL That was a nice comic relief for a very serious situation. It's nice they managed to re-attach her. Still, it's a miracle she managed to survive that.. Orochimaru is still suspicious to her. That flashback about their past was pretty interesting. He's too good to be true now. I don't trust his "change"..
