Mobile Suit Gundam UC Unicorn - Generic Anime Discussion

Just got the BD for OVA 2 and started watching the "Story so far" Featurette and immediately noticed that at least one scene they recapped from episode 1 was extended, if only for a few seconds:

The scene right after the space station exploded and the survivor reached out to space was extended by a few seconds and a lens flare was added to show that he was in fact reaching for something. I completely missed it after watching the first episode so many times and some of you probably already noticed it

Yea I guess you don't need it when you control the unit with thought. What boggles my mind is that do you really need a reconfiguration of the cockpit seat? Couldn't the system have been already set up in the Destroy Mode cockpit configuration WITH the joysticks. I mean it just feels unnecessary, and complicating the whole transformation process.

Yea he is. This time with the Sinanju too. It's funny how he puts on a mask but his facial shape is SO DISTINCT that it doesn't hide his identity AT ALL.

It's probably to make the pilot more comfortable, after all he is controlling it with his thoughts.
