Hello there

I've been thinking of this really old animation. I watched it maybe 1990 or something, it was a VHS movie I think. the 1st scene was a girl next to a piano looking out the window. She's looking at a boy. I think they're in their teens. She went out to follow and try to speak with the boy when she was slowly swallowed by the ground and transferred to a different world. She fell on some large plant and I think it turned to a carnivorous plant.. and I think there was also a sword.

can anyone help me with this? I don't remember the ending but I remember that I thought it was a really good anime.

^ First pic is Love-yan.

Some scanlator decided to romanize it as "Rabuyan", which is sheer stupidity, IMO, since her name comes from the fact she's a cupid of LOVE, not to mention the manga actually writes the title out in English to begin with on the tankoubon covers.

Great manga.
But it's entirely composed of making fun of anti-social, degenerate, otaku with no life, so if you're squimish about that I would say stay away.
