Yes I am in despair too, from comparing then and now...
Rebuilt is my second private playground in my own backyard. An alt if you will. The main one is set directly in canon where I managed to account for Kha's absence at every instance, which was written last year and had so many stockholders who have now mysteriously diappeared...
*mourns the loss of KBTKaiser, An Hero and Erio*
And he was my Page too... Noo... T_T
I won't be returning to canon for a while at least cos if I tried and S4 comes, I'd cry for having to rewrite everything again. So I went AU and had more fun due to the extra leeway I was given.
By no means am I cloistering somewhere on my own. I'd love to be with you guys, is just that sometimes it gets a little too much. And Kha is in Alpha; all's right with my world. So please don't accuse me of Reijism when I have no reason to, except when I was an Emoeskimo earlier. :3
Then again... Just a summary of Kha's involvement in Canon like Keroko might do... >.>
And Keroko, your Keroko in every universe gave me a very bad mindburst...... ><
Hmm, I'm not particularely worried about havig to rewrite everything I do. Though I do try to step on a lot less landmines while doing so. (one of the reasons Syn's profile is till incomplete )
One of the great joys when the series was still running used to be everyone laughing at how their mad theories were confirmed. I remember jumping out of my seat in joy when I discovered dragons were canon in Nanoha.
The recent discovery of what exactly the SAFA is will cause me to rewrite parts of Keroko's bio (as well as seriously reconcider her career choice of jumping to Enforcer).
But, do whatever you enjoy doing Kha. After all, that's where the fun is in OC.
Besides, you're not alone in cloistering... I can't even remember when I last wrote a scenario with the OC's of other people in them...
Kinda awkward, concidering how often people use mine...
*dives back to dig through the new scenarios* Yummy yummy, cheese is back :3
Adding onto the cheese by commenting. Pardon me if they seem superficial or short.

Spoiler for SECRET AMBITION:
"Dear Passengers, this is your captain speaking..."
Erio almost balked at the way a completely alien voice lanced into his ears and oxymoronically smashed his dream gently. The boy roused and stretched, then slowly cracked his eyelids open, a little disoriented from being suddenly returned to the real world. The cabin was still dark from the long flight through voidspace, and due to his small stature, the young Mondial could not see anything past his rotund co-passenger seated beside him, or over the seat in front of him. He had shut the window shades as after watching them for a long time the auroras of the void started intruding in his sleep.
Erio tugged the sleeve of his coat back and peered at Strada. The device lighted up in sync, and told the boy silently that it was now 4pm Midchilda Standard Time. The captain continued cheerily about the weather at Crenagan Starport, what to see and do in the Heart of the Administration and other well-rehearsed lines, but Erio found looking back at that mental image he work up with.
"And so he came, upon wings of glittering starlight..." Erio recited again absent-mindedly, sepia-color memories flickering at every syllable.
That was a line from a story his then would-be Meister told to him after he and Miss Testarossa rescued Null and Erio from the culling enacted by the Brotherhood of Nod. The two boys were experiments, artefacts and tools of the ruthless organization that claimed to fight for a greater cause. And like broken tools the Brotherhood threw them aside to save their skins. Had it not been for Kha and Fate that day...
"Sir? Excuse me, Sir?"
Erio peered over the mountain of fat at the space hostess with an outstretched hand.
"Could you raise the window shade please? We'll be landing shortly."
With a small 'Oh!' Erio turned to his right and threw the cover open hastily, and for a moment or two, all he could do was squint through the blinding whiteness...
If not for them, and the Aces, and the many friends they had, he would not have been here, waiting for his vision to clear. Slowly, the sleek metals of Crenagan City's skyline faded into view, and the boy pressed himself excited at the scene.
Ever since that day, he was always looking forward to the next step. And here it was, the City of Dreams.

Inside Southfort is a flurry of activity. Carpenters putting finishing touches to the decor, cleaners running automops over the tiled floors, cooks checking the freezer and stoves. Nanoha and Keroko meets the Forwards in training with Fate, Hayate and Rein. Zafira plops himself down beside Hayate. They are disturbed by an aircraft roaring past. Genya, Ginga, Tais, Aura do the same. The Belka tea party also stops for the loud contrail.
A step forward, and Erio emerges from the cabin.

Not much.
The roles of OCs side by side working with CC cast is a good scene to behold.

“Boring boring boring boring booooooring” was the line of thought going through Vivio’s mind as she casually flipped the mechanical penclip up again with her lips. Why did math teacher have to insist on making their explanations so long anyway?
Most of the class around her was in the same state of boredom, some even half-asleep. With a sigh Vivio flipped the pencil up again.
Unfortunately this time the eraser on top of the pencil fell off, and since the tip of the pencil was currently up in the air, the top, which was where all the lead sticks are loaded, was facing downwards. And gravity being gravity, all the lead sticks of her pencil fell down into her mouth. Her eyes widened as her tongue registered the graphite taste and she immediately shoved her chair backwards and spat out the pen and everything else.
“Ew ew ew” she yelled in frustration as the taste refused to leave. It took a moment before she was calm enough to realize just where she was, and turned her head to see the entire class staring at her.
“Uhm…” she nervously said as her eyes scanned the confused, or amused faces of her classmates. To her left, her blue-haired friend Syn obviously had seen what had happened, as she was struggling to keep her lips neutral and her visible right eye was trembling in an attempt not to burst into laughter.
“Takamachi-san, are my lessons that revolting?” The teacher said with a raised eyebrow.
“I… no… I’m…” Vivio stammered, too embarrassed to get out a proper sentence.
“Then perhaps you could gather your thoughts in the hall. You seem to need a bit of time too yourself.”
“Isn’t that a bit harsh? All that happened was her pen breaking on her while holding it in her mouth.” Syn spoke up from her place.
“Then perhaps she should have been using it to copy notes instead of keeping it in her mouth. As she should have” The teacher returned.
“You sound like an evil overlord now.” Syn grumbled.
“I’ll take that as a compliment Virage-san, now I believe we have a volunteer to keep you company, Takamachi-san.”
Syn glared at their teacher. “That’s abuse of power.” She growled.
“I’m an evil overlord, remember?” the teacher returned smugly as Vivio began pulling Syn by her sleeve.
“This isn’t over yet, dark lord! Your evil reign over this classroom will end, I will return, and with greater numbers! We will overthrow you! The age of freedom will come! Your days are numbered!” The proclamations began to fade as Vivio pulled her friend out of the door, leaving behind a laughing class.
The teacher sighed. That Virage girl was almost as much trouble as she was worth. Sure she managed to keep order in the class and keep the class entertained at times, like this one, but did she have to do it in such a tiring way? Oh well, as long as the Takamachi girl kept her out of problems it would be fine. With the class more amused like this it would be easier to finish lessons.
Meanwhile in the hall, Vivio was giving her friend an embarrassed look. “Did you have to do that?” she asked.
“Hey, I’m not the only one who was bored.” Syn answered as she stuck out her tongue.
“Yes, but now you’re stuck here with me holding these buckets.” Vivio said, gesturing to the buckets they were holding.
Syn shrugged. “It was boring in there as well anyway, now we have something to do anyway.”
“Yes, but holding buckets isn’t any more ‘fun’ either.” Vivio returned.
“True, but getting there sure was.” Syn grinned.
Vivio sighed. “How do you manage to get into these situations?”
“Having an irresistible urge to backtalk teachers? Being a smartass? Trying to relieve the boredom?” Syn provided.
“…This doesn’t bother you at all, does it?”
“Eh, its just holding buckets. Knowing our teacher no official complaint is going to be made of it. And it’s only fifteen more minutes until the end of class anyway. What could possibly happen?”
Vivio was about to reply, until two voices reached her ears.
“… So nice of you to come visit your daughter, Takamachi-san.”
“Nyahaha, I’ve been busy with work lately, so I haven’t had time to come and see her at school and I wanted to know how she’s doing.”
Vivio’s eyes tripled in size. Syn blinked.
“Huh. Note to self: Murphy’s Law works just fine.”
Vivio looked around panicky for any cover before her mother could spot her. In the end, she dove behind Syn, right before her mother rounded the corner.
“Are? Syn? Did you do something to get send to the hall again?” The escort, who turned out to be Lady Schach, said in a reproving voice. Syn merely grinned in response. “How do you manage to be here so often?”
“Boredom, mostly. Konnichiwa Takamachi-san.” She said with a small bow towards Nanoha.
“Konnichiwa, Syn. How are things?”
“Just fine, thank you. We were just having a very… ‘educational’ math class, and most of us were resting our eyes contemplating all the information so generously given to us before hell broke loose.”
Vivio sighed in relief behind her friend. Lucky that Syn was a good half head taller then her. Now if only her mother wouldn’t spot her…
“And how did Vivio get there with you?” Her mother’s voice reached her ears.
Dammit Murphy!
“Ehehehe…” Vivio chuckled nervously.
“Well?” Nanoha said.
“I was… sort of bored in class… and I was chewing on my pencil and it kind off… opened in my mouth.”
…
A moment of silence.
“That’s all?” Nanoha said.
“Oh that’s not half of it.” Syn said with a grin. “As soon as she realized what was happening she did a massive spit take just in the middle of Sousou-sensei’s lecture of how important it was to remember to take the result into the further calculation. It sounded like she was disagreeing with him rather violently.”
“Syn!” Vivio protested with a beaming red head.
Nanoha sighed. “Sister Schach, I think I will take you on on that offer of tea. Maybe after we finish I can watch my daughter in class properly.”
Vivio hung her head as Nanoha and sister Schach walked on.
“…I’m dead.” She mumbled. “I’m going to get grounded for sure.”
Syn turned back to Vivio. “Grounded? With that big smile on her face as she was walking on?”
“Huh?” Vivio blinked.
“Yup. She probably did something like that herself, or knew someone who did. I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Oh hey, only two minutes remaining, lets get rid of these buckets and have lunch.”
Vivio sighed in relief as Syn took her bucket and walked to the drain. “Thanks Syn.”
“Anytime V.”
Vivio smiled. She hadn’t just thanked Syn for taking care of her bucket. Vivio knew why Syn had taunted the teacher. She knew Vivio hated being alone, so she tagged along to keep her company.
She smiled. Syn always knew what to say to make her feel better when she was feeling down.
And that’s why she loved her.
Might have missed the first part before Vivio/Syn stuff are good as always.

[Crusader, Escutcheon, Cranagan City] [January 22nd, MC 081] [2024 hours]
The pressure was intense… every single personnel, be it from Chrono to the rest of the admin staff inside Crusader. They were paying rapt attention to their screens… Waiting, searching, hoping that this first mission would provide desirable results.
If one were to ask more than half of the staff in Escutcheon, they were still vastly unprepared for this sudden call to arms. But for the sake of their objective, they had no choice but to proceed with as much care as they can afford without sacrificing efficiency.
Zeroing in on one person, his current opinion of the matter can be summarized in three words.
“This is troublesome…” Aurion muttered under his breath as he briskly walked away from the room where he delivered the ailing Leona earlier. He had suggested that she see the doctors, but she insisted otherwise. Aurion, despite himself decided to relent to the azure-haired intelligence officer’s request. His left arm reverted into its natural form, a robotic prosthetic appendage. Almaria was attached to its slot above the elbow.
Almaria’s symbol on her surface glowed, [Chief.]
“Yes?” Aurion quickly pressed a button on his left arm, triggering his capability to hold conversation with his device telepathically.
{Detected scrambling signal from the AI-enabled Device, Wyrd. I have already activated anti-tracking countermeasure equivalent to Stormnet Level 4.}
Aurion smiled amusedly, ‘As to be expected from a member of Intelligence…’ He turned to his second device on his arm, ‘Almaria. Set the data-gathering program from Setting X356-728 to X367-458. The keywords are Viper and Chameleon.’
{Understood.} Several lights blipped on her interface, {I have set the specifications as requested.}
‘Thanks.’
He quickly made it to Crusader, the command room of Escutcheon. As the door opened, a sight of intense pressure from everyone in the room greeted him. Everyone observed they’re assigned viewing screens with rapt attention. As he strode him, Chrono spared him a glance before turning back to his own set of viewing screens.
Aurion looked up at Chrono, sending one message telepathically, ‘Admiral Harlaown.’
‘Yes?’ Chrono answered in the same manner, not taking his eyes of his monitors.
‘I’ve been meaning to file a request today, but it seems like the enemy got to us first.’
‘I know. I’ve anticipated you would.’ Chrono replied, ‘Permission granted.’ A hint of a smirk crossed his face before reverting back to his pensive expression, ‘It’s not like you’ll stop if I told you to, anyway.’
‘Thank you.’ Aurion then proceeded down to one of the terminals; the one manned by a bespectacled brown-haired young woman, Shario Finieno, the head of the Communications Division. “Shario.” He called her, “Can I request an interface to the Commu?”
“Dauer-hakase!” Shari exclaimed softly as she turned around. She immediately turned her head further towards Chrono, who just looked at her, nodded once, and focused his attention once again to his terminal.
“Uhm... Roger.” She looked confused, but otherwise made a data-screen appear and secured a connection with Almaria to the Communications Interface of Crusader.
[Connection, acquired. Processing data.] hummed Almaria’s sweet tone in her slot.
“Thanks.” Aurion gave Shari an appreciative nod before walking back beside and a little below Chrono’s post. He waved his left arm sideways, prompting several data screen to surround him in a 180 degree frontal and peripheral orientation.
‘I just need an accurate outline of the current situation…’ he pressed several keys over the 2D keypads that appeared in front of him as well, quickly prompting the screens to browse thru the several area mapping data and straight into direct video-feed information from some of the devices of the deployed troops. A small overhead map appeared, pinpointing the current position of the troops deployed. ‘You indeed have caught us by surprise.’ His eyes narrowed, ‘Then as retaliation, I won’t let anything get by my sight.’
Comments for this?><
And comments later.
P.S. We're on a roll!
First time seeing Aurion being serious of his own accord here. Wonder if his hand could be forced someday.

Thanks to the nice people of the Image Thread I was finally able to change the TSAB Logo on Rinya's ID Card to the AAS one.
Spoiler for Rinya's new ID Card:
I already replaced it in her profile.
I'm also glad I decided to take a break from my main story (I pretty much stuck) and wrote something for my Dark Setting.
Spoiler for 'Chapter' 3:
‘Lock on’ flashed on the side of the crosshair, shortly before she pulled the trigger and a green flash of light smashed into the targets head, decapitating it.
She watched the target through the scope, as it still stood upright, only swaying back and forth a little from the impact of the magical bullet.
“Pretty good, Granscenic…” The man besides her said, still looking through his binoculars.
“…all targets clear. You’re getting better, looks like this eye of yours is no hindrance at all.”
“Thank you, Iskan-jichan!” Laguna gave the older man a smile. “But I hope I’m soon able to shoot other things than buckets on sticks.”
Iskan laughed as he stood up. “Don’t worry about that, on the next raid you will have plenty of real targets to shoot at.”
Laguna also stood up and sealed her rifle. She let her eyes wander around the run down training hall and felt proud that she didn’t missed a target once.
“Looks like you have visitor, Granscenic.” The man chuckled. “Well, I’m off. Come over anytime you think you need to hone your skills.” He waved her goodbye as he walked over to the first fallen target dummy.
Laguna waved at his back and turned around with a big smile.
“Laguna.” The man said smiling and nodded his gray brown haired head as a greeting.
Laguna jumped forward and hugged him. Vice laughed returned the hug with his remaining arm.
“Onii-chan, where have you been?” Laguna asked as she stepped backwards again. “You said you would over watch my shooting practice today.”
Vice scratched his head. “I’m sorry, Schach and Signum just didn’t wanted to let me go until the meeting was finished.”
“Oh…” Laguna looked down. “How is she…? Signum?”
A slightly painful expression showed on Vice’s face. “She is still at loss. But concentrating on other things helps her getting better. Agito and I try our best to cheer her up too. Damn… it’s already five years since…” he stopped his sentence.
Laguna nodded slightly. “I know, Onii-chan. Don’t worry.” She decided to change the topic. “Well? What about our next raid?”
Vice shrugged. “Well, nothing special. We decided that it would be best if we replenish our supplies. Especially food and medication, we are starting to run low on these.”
“Anything else?”
“Nothing much. Looks like the eastern base was nearly discovered and they had to seal two entrances, but they are fine now.”
“And anything from the Outer Fleet?”
“No… nothing since they had to destroy the inter-dimensional HQ.”
Vice and Laguna fell both silence.
“I see…” Laguna said after a while just to say something.
“Do you really want to go with the next raid?” Vice asked suddenly.
“Yes, of course.” His sister answered without hesitation. “The team needs good sniping support.”
Vice nodded slowly. “Yeah, of course.” He laid his hand on Laguna’s shoulder. “I’m just worried, that’s all.”
“Don’t worry, Onii-chan. I will come back.” Laguna said as she grabbed his hand with hers before she added; “I and Storm Raider, we both will come back.”
With a smile, Vice drew his hand back. “I know. While I don’t like the thought of you fighting in a war, I know that you’re nearly as good as I was, back then as I could still shoot.”
“Yeah, don’t worry. None of the Lost will get me.” Laguna said with a smile.
“It’s not the Lost I’m worried about.”
“And if I see one of the Dark Generals I will do as you said. I run like hell!”
Now Vice smiled. “Good girl. Oh, I nearly forgot. Schach wants to brief all the volunteers for the next raid up in the old water distribution facility.”
“Onii-chan! You should have told me earlier!” Laguna said with played anger.
“Sorry, sorry.” Vice chuckled.
“Any volunteers I know?” Laguna asked while packing her backpack.
“I think Harold Mully and Vivio Takamichi.”
Laguna froze mid movement for while after hearing Vivio’s name. Something that Vice couldn’t fail to notice.
“What? You don’t like Vivio-chan?”
Laguna shoulder her backpack and stood up. “No, that’s not it. I like Vivio. It’s just this stupid talk. You heard that she left her last patrol after she heard another one was attack by a Dark General, right? They say she started to take unnecessary risks and even endangers her teammates.”
Vice scratched his head. “Yeah, but the patrol came back without any losses, even if they had to hide from one of the Generals for some time.” He shook his head. “Remember that Vivio has a pretty hard time. Her mother was killed, her aunt became the very Dark General that hunted her just the day before yesterday, her godmother disappeared without a trace and her best friend is off planet with the same Outer Fleet we lost contact with quite a while ago.” He let out a sigh.
“You don’t have to tell me that.” Laguna said slightly offended and looked to the side. “I’m not a child you know.”
Vice bursted out in laughter.
“What now!?”
“Ah, nothing… sorry, just remembered something. Shouldn’t you go to the briefing or something? Otherwise they’ll go without you.” Vice still chuckled.
“Onii-chan you are strange sometimes…” Laguna shrugged. “Ah, well. I’m going now. Take care, Onii-chan!” with these words she turned and ran through the next door.
“Take care…” Vice said silently.
“And there she goes.” Iskan‘s voice let Vice spin around in surprise.
“Iskan! You startled me! Don’t sneak up on me like that.”
“Let an old man have his hobbies. How about it, Vice? Want to try your luck on the firing range?”
Vice lifted his hand in refuse. “No thanks, maybe another time.” He said sadly.
===========
The black tower of the old Armed Forces HQ in Midchilda Capital was one of the few buildings that was able to withstand the assault on Midchilda. While the upper floors where no longer existent. The lower floors to the middle had little to no damage at all. But even with the upper floors gone, the old Armed Forces HQ was still an impressive building that rose into the dark sky of Midchilda.
On the now topmost floor, the Dark Lord of the Shadow, Carnage, kicked an office chair out of the way, before he continued walking impatiently back and forth. The chair slithered to the edge of the platform and tumbled, now that no wall could stop it, down to the deep ground below.
“Looks like we run out of chairs…” a voice said with an amused undertone.
Carnage snarled at the speaker. “Cut your freaking sarcasm, Iru!”
Ireul, the Dark Lord of the Vortex, who was sitting on a chair of the same kind of the one that just went down a moment ago shrugged and gave Carnage a bored look from his purple glowing eyes. “Just wanted to say that your impatience don’t help either.”
“She’s late!” Carnage shouted, turned around and boxed a nearby piece of wall.
“Erm… you are listening to me?” Ireul waved at Carnage.
“Yeah, I heard you…” Carnage stopped and tried to calm down. “But can you tell me what the hell she’s taking so long?”
“Depends on who you mean;” Ireul answered with a wicked smile. “Neltharion or Hel?”
“Tch… would be surprising if the latter one would show up. Good thing she is still occupied with hunting the Fleet.”
“Well… at least the first one is here now.” Ireul pointed to the sky and Carnages red glowing eyes followed upwards.
With grace, the Dark Lady of the Black Aspect, floated down on her ethereal dragon like wings and landed softly on her feet.
“I’m back!” she announced, folding her wings behind her back and turning to the other Dark Generals. “How are... Whoa!”
Bringing up her axe like Device, Neltharion stopped Carnages claws with its shaft just in time. “Nel-chan! Where have you been!?” he hissed.
“Hot-headed like always I see.” She said, pressing against the attack.
“Don’t give me that crap!” Carnage was pressing harder. “This time you’re gonna get it”
Netharion’s eyes widened a bit and then she chuckled. “Wait! Don’t tell me you are still pissed about the day before yesterday!”
“Pretty much, yes!” He answered, his eyes burning with fury. “You think you can make a fool out of me!? ‘Raid’ my ass! By the time I’ve got there everything was over!”
Ireul cleared his throat and tried to gain their attention, without success.
The Dark Lady of the Black Aspect also pressed harder now. “Then maybe you should be faster next time! Not everyone is slowpoke as you!”
“Err… Guys?” Ireul tried again.
“I swear!” Carnage growled. “If you wouldn’t be my little sister, I would rip you to shreds!”
Neltharion showed Carnage a big grin and mocked. “If you can fly high enough you are welcome to try, Carn-niichan!”
“Guys!” Ireul shouted.
“What!?” both Generals asked and turned to their youngest sibling at the same time.
Ireul had jumped from his chair and was now nervously stepping from one foot to another. The other Dark Generals were staring shocked at the place beside him, where a dark figure was standing.
”I see you are very lively today.” he said.
Neltharion now seemed to watch the sky, while Carnage found something interesting at his feet only he could see.
”This senseless fighting between to two of you is meaningless. Carnage.” the Dark Lord of the Shadow raised his head a bit and looked at his master. ”Your sister is right; it was not her fault that the raid was over before you could approach the enemy. But that is not all you are angry with, isn’t it?”
Carnage nodded. “I should have fought Vivio…” he began slowly. “I found her first! Nel had no right to …” he stopped as he felt the gaze of his master, even if his face was completely covert by the mirror mask.
”Neltharion was right to stop you. You would have broken her body and this is something I cannot allow.”
“Yes, father…” Carnage lowered his eyes again.
”And you Neltharion. You know of the short temper of your brother and yet you tease him at every possible moment. But that aside, you haven’t tested the girl as I had instructed.”
Neltharion was twitching her wings in uneasiness. “I tried, but she was not willing to fight and used a diversion to escape. I looked for her and the patrol she was with, but they are sneaky little bastards.”
“There is no need to worry then. Her time will come.”
“So… what we are going to do next?” Carnage asked and raised his head again.
“Maybe we should call Hel over here so she can help.” Ireul suggested and smiled as Carnage and Neltharion gave each other a worried look. They could fight as much as they want, but their similar reaction showed Ireul again that they where family too.
"This won’t be necessary." the Master from the Great Beyond said. "Hel will return as soon she destroyed the Fleet and this so called ‘Last Admiral’ that is commanding it."
“Chrono-kun is sneaky too” Neltharion said. “I don’t know many Commanders that are able to evade us with a whole fleet for so long.”
“I’m honestly glad he is. As long he can occupy Hel-neesama he can command his fleet as long as he wishes.” Carnage shrugged.
“Yeah. I like Onee-sama, but I must admit; she’s nuts.” Neltharion chuckled.
"Then we have nothing more to say. The both of you will return to your duties."
“Yes father.” both Neltharion and Carnage said and bowed. Then Neltharion spread her wings and shot herself into the air and Carnage teleported away using the shadows he commanded.
Ireul watched Neltharion fly away and couldn’t help to feel left out.
”You don’t have to worry, my son."
Ireul turned and watched his face in the reflection of the mirror mask. “I know father. It’s just that it’s been a while since I was able to hunt with the others. Somehow I feel lonely…” He paused a moment. “Well I guess the others would laugh if they hear me talking like this.”
”Maybe they would… But don’t think of you as weak just because you feel the way you do. You know how you became one of my children.”
“Yes. I was weak and unable to protect anything when I was still Shamsel Nagisa. You came and showed me how pathetic I was, but you didn’t shun me for my weakness, instead you gave me the power to protect my new siblings.” Ireul looked at his hands.
”It was your wish to become stronger that made me show you the truth. You are a protector, in your heart burns the righteous fury that will destroy anyone who wishes to do us harm. But in the same time your heart still knows kindness. I won’t lie to you; it is this kindness that may hurt you the most. But at the same time it makes you stronger and valuable. As your oldest Sister; Hel, the Dark Lady of the Nocturnal Glacier, found and freed me, I was not completely by my senses. Confused I took too much of her essence. Now her heart is as cold as the abyss she freed me from.
Carnage lusts for battle and blood and he is too easily distracted from things that are more important.
Neltharion is the same. While she don’t seem that way, I can sense clearly that the proud and madness of her Aspect slumbers in her soul.
You can succeed where your siblings can not. Remember this. Your time will come…”
And with these words he vanished, like he never was there in the first place. Ireul starred at the spot he vanished for a moment and then looked down to the ruins of Midchilda capital. “Yes father…”
It's the longest Dark Setting Chapter so far.
Thanks to Keroko and Xgouki for letting me use thier OCs!
I hope I got them right.
Sorry if not! I'm unworthy!
And we have another picture!
I always wanted to draw something for my Dark Future Setting and I decided on a name for it and wanted to make some kind of 'Poster'.
Thanks again to Keroko and Xgouki who gave thier input for the fanpictures I draw of thier OCs. (Yes guys I finally finished it!)
So here it is:
Showing both main heros and all Dark Generals! :3
Spoiler for Dark Future Poster:
Looks like the setting fits well for a 'dark future'. TSAB doesn't look like it's going to stand any longer while Laguna follows in her brother's footsteps. Insights into past events are good too.
work there. Figure that Shinji(?) is Iruel's base and even Hayate goes evil here.
Pushing the rest of the backlog until weekend. And hopefully a contribution from me as well.

Ahh that's acutally good for me to know as well although i haven't actually done anything that would contradict that much so I ought to be safe. Acutally it's works rather well with what I had in mind anyway.
Not sure how it would effect you that much though it seems like more a clarification then a shocking new revelation if anything. *shrugs*
Well, I basically labelled Keroko SAFI (Supreme Air Force Interceptor) because I figured SAFA was Nanoha-only and it had something to do with combat, not training, so I'll have to go back and change that. Also the discovery that they're an actuall unit and generally work in squads... it doesn't need to affect me if I don't want to, but lets just say it got gears turning in my brain that make me want to reconcider throwing Keroko down the Enforcer path.
Now for something new... it's kinda rare for me to dwell more on worlds than on characters, but this bit is related to TASK ONE
Thus, without further ado:
Spoiler for Rainbow Mirage:
Celica, the 143rd Non-Administered World
This arid desert world, where water makes up only 40% of the planet’s surface, was supposedly a world settled upon by colonists from a distant planet several hundred years prior, when massive starships carried thousands of hopeful and eager explorers waiting to start reclaiming this new world, and lay fresh the seeds of prosperity of their mother world with dreams of a paradise built from scratch.
It was a dream that so many others in so many other realms have done before, the dream of the exodus to heaven…
Centuries later, and that dream has yet to materialize; in its stead devastation, chaos, anarchy and conflict raged as its people realized that the lush fertile promise of the world was only a mirage in its parched deserts and scant natural resources. Time in this desolate planet has transformed once prosperous and civilized colonists into impoverished and desperate nomads; the once powerful and respected leaders replaced by petty warlords and despicable despots; their once impressive technologies long broken down and forgotten in the cruel and unforgiving landscape.
In the records of the Time-Space Administration Bureau’s history, this world was once known as a backwater planet. Too technologically average to be of interest, no history of mage lineage to be of importance, and of no real value in the newly formed Bureau’s strategic and geopolitical plans it was in a word, insignificant.
It was precisely for this reason that the planet then became so important to another group of people – the not-so-good, the bad, and the evil. People who needed to stay low and hidden from the eyes of the authorities of Ordered Space… and what better place than this world to which the Bureau’s eyes cannot even be bothered to look at?
At first it was only the small interdimensional pirate groups that settled amongst the planet’s scattered populace to hide their operations, and then larger fish came. Evil thrives when good men do nothing, and in a place without good men, evil flourished as all manner of insidiously heinous and criminal minds began to dig their claws unto the world so easily swayed to the whims of the damned. Druglords, Pirates, Smugglers, Slave Traders, Warmongers and all sorts of people known for various vile and wicked deeds created vast empires, achieving with their greed, selfishness and abundant resources what the now-native colonists could not achieve in several centuries of toiling in hell. A quote from a fictional work would describe it best:
“There is no greater hive of scum and villainy.”
But the first rule of any good hiding place is to let as few people in on it as possible. And when entire criminal empires start congregating their power from a single place, the balloon is bound to burst sooner or later. And burst it did – explosively.
The Nareeva-Muraea conflict, a war between the two largest criminal superpowers on that world, saw widespread and indiscriminate use of weapons of mass destruction – nuclear, biological, chemical, dimensional, Lost Logia, everything they can get their hands on - to commit unimaginable acts of genocide against their fellow wicked man in a bid for ultimate control of the world. And naturally, such an apocalyptic event would naturally grab the full attention of the denizens of Ordered Space, who sent the Bureau to isolate and contain the problem – in force, with a naval armada of their most advanced battlecruisers and entire divisions of combat mages.
Officially, the conflict ended when the Muraean’s secret trump card, the infamous Lost Logia known as the “Book of Darkness”, rampaged through the capital city of Greater Muraea, and had to be contained using the TSAB Navy’s then untested and experimental weapon, the magical cannon Arc-En-Ciel, wielded by the flagship Athena. The weapon’s unimaginable power wiped out Greater Muraea and its populace of millions from the face of the planet, and with the demise of the Muraean’s chain of command opened the door for the easy takeover of Bureau forces, and conversely the cessation of hostilities
Unofficially, several mysteries have been raised regarding the circumstances of the Arc-En-Ciel’s first shot in anger. One is regarding the Muraean use of their trump card just as they were on the brink of a breakthrough that would secure them victory from the badly weakened and shattered Nareevans – why jeopardize inevitable victory by unleashing such a dangerous and unstable Lost Logia? Some sources have suggested that the Book of Darkness was never present in the conflict, that it was an excuse by the Bureau to destabilize the Muraean war effort by cutting the head off the proverbial chicken, which was certainly achieved in the wake of the firing. And those who believe in the Lost Logia’s existence there still see the firing as excessive, an unnecessary show of TSAB technological superiority to a problem that could’ve been resolved through more conventional methods.
Whatever the questions, countless lives perished in the brief month-long conflict, and the death toll is estimated to be in the millions. In the aftermath Ordered Space was rid of a significant number of their most wanted public enemies and criminal organizations, having decimated each other in the conflict with little help from the Bureau. The Bureau found itself performing cleanup, rounding up every wanted name they came across, and they were rounded up in the thousands – the largest number of criminal arrests performed by the Bureau before or since. The Celican Conflict as it is known was one of the largest factors in paving the way for a mostly crime-free Ordered Space, with the collapse of entire criminal empires that ensured that no similar large scale organizations of evil would arise for a long time.
That was 65 years ago.
Celica is still as desolate and arid as ever, but now bearing the scars of the unspeakable damage done by the weapons used in that war, with many areas still dangerously uninhabitable in an already hostile planet. The Bureau does not, and never had a reformation plan for the planet, quote:
“the express desire of the Celicai people to reject any offers of aid or assistance in reconstruction”.
The planet has thus remained unadministered, albeit with increased security on the planet’s perimeter to discourage criminal elements from taking advantage of the world. But nothing has changed for the Celicai people, even as the remaining populations struggle to rebuild their lives amidst renewed conflicts and violence, they do so without hope of ever attaining the paradise their ancestors promised, only the hazy image of a harsh purgatory…

Nyahaha, this says interesting things about the so-called "level cap" units are supposedly held to. This bears thinking about.

Just because they're called "elite" doesn't mean they're all similar in power and abilities... it just means they're better than most of the others, but no guarantee that each of the members would be similarly equal to each other in terms of skill, power and abilities.
My 2 cents.

Seriously the forwards are pretty much Elites compared to the average grunts we see and Nanoha could probably pwn the entire group in like .3 seconds.
An elite thousand strong battalion to me is headed by an SS, with some S++, more S+, even more S, and a larger number of S-, and the rest staffed by As. (Ranks corrected after dropping the X rank limit) I don't see how else can TSAB defend its rim borders with cadres of lesser strength.
Hmm - it's one thing to say that outside the rim borders is some pretty nasty stuff but quite another to say they're ALL S ranked in terms of power or better.

The way I saw it, the TSAB just got outplayed. Jail basically disabled most of the defense forces before they could even respond to the threat, and that coupled with the fact that the Aces were unarmed (why the fuck were they there if they didn't have devices, may I ask? They were supposed to protect the place, right?), and the general defenses got fragmented.
It was a textbook example of a successful raid with inferior firepower but superior brainpower.
Spoiler for Belka Pontifex Vivali Zeltisberg:
Biographical Detail:
Name: Vivali Zeltisberg
Age: 25 (MC 75)
Date of Birth: MC 50

Height: 75” in
Weight: 177 lbs
Affiliation: Holy Remnant of Belka
Title: Pontifex of the Remnant Belka Church

Device: The Hakai no Sho/Buch des Roterhimmeis (Book of the Red Sky) It takes the same basic form as the Yami no Sho, except the book itself is red, and the Schwertkreuz is slightly longer and more pointed. The Book of Destruction is of the same make as the Book of Darkness and the Book of Divinity. Like the Book of Darkness, it has 666 pages (the Book of Divinity has 1440 pages). It performs similar storage functions to the Book of Darkness, except that it gets its data not from outside sources, but adapts the form of its magical outputs to the needs of the user, giving the user a great deal of flexibility. It is deleted when the book is passed on to a new Master.
Magical Detail:
Simple Magic Rank: SS
Detailed Magic Rank:
Intelligence: Great
Leadership: Excellent
Combat Skill: Excellent
Empathy: Great
Work Ethic: Excellent
Determination: Excellent
Ruthlessness: Good
Spells:
Flammetein (Spears of Flame): A spell that discharges spears at the target; upon impact, they burst into flames, causing damage.
Dreizehn Wehklagen (Thirteen Laments) - A close-range spell that disrupts any magical fields or barriers around the target, essentially causing a "Barrier Break" effect, except directed towards the maker of the barrier, not the attacker.
Borgenfestung (Tank Castle): A defensive spell that creates a strong magical field around the user.
Diabolic Emission: Similar to the Yami no Sho version of the spell, while it has a smaller area of affect, it has a greater damage output.
Ketten des Leidens (Chains of Suffering): Red chains are formed to bind the opponent, causing steady damage.
Hraëvesglr: Similar to Hayate's version of the spell; this variant has a far shorter range and blast radius, but has a smaller charge time.
Vorspiel zu Zerstörung: (Prelude to Destruction) Not an attack per se, the user focuses energy around him to prepare for either a powerful range or melee attack.
Flügel der Zerstörung (Wings of Destruction) The user gathers large orbs of energy around him, and discarges them either at a single target or a wide area in succession.
Ewige Strafe (Eternal Punishment): The user charges the target with the Schwertkreuz, striking with it. Upon contact the Schwertkreuz discharges a large amount of energy through the target, draining both life and magic power.
Biography:
Vivali Zeltisberg was born on Revitalis Belka to a minor noble family that lived near the Belkan capital. He was the fourth of six children. At an early age, it was expected that he would enter the Remnant military cult, and at the age of ten, he commenced basic training. It was apparent that he was talented, though not more so than a host of other mages his age. He was an AA rank at that age, which was very good, but not overly exceptional. However, he possessed a great deal of determination, and was able to stand out not with any incredible talent, but with his willingness to go the extra mile to please his instructors. At the age of fifteen, he entered the Belkan Navy, under the commander Kyharis Leeds (future OC), a famous naval commander credited with many victories. He was also one of the "commenders", the high-ranked officers who selected the candidates for Lordship. At first, no matter how hared Vivali worked, he could not impress Kyharis. He followed orders diligently, he put in extra hours...still nothing. His inquiries to what Kyharis wanted were met with vague platitudes and no real answers. One day, all of a sudden, Kyharis Leeds left a message at Vivali's quarters. It said "Lords are special - are you special?". Vivali realized that to impress Kyharis he had to do something...impressive. Now all he had to do was to find an opportunity.
That opportunity came when Vivali was assigned to a task force on a distant planet in what is known as the TSAB "Outer Rim". It was a reconnisance assignment, designed to determine the relative threat of the entities in that area of the galaxy. All of a sudden, his unit was attacked and quickly surrounded by a group of alien lifeforms. They escaped to the ship, but they were under such duress that they were unable to escape. Thinking quickly, Vivali realized that they were unintelligent pack lifeforms. He identified the leader of the pack, then provoked it. He flew away to a nearby mountain crevice, then started firing at the alien beasts. Even though they were somewhat more powerful than him (they were the equivalent of S+ mages, he was S- at that point), he still did significant damage to the group, enough to allow the newly arrived reinforcements to defeat the rest of the pack. His accomplishment was met with honors upon his return to base. Two days later, he had recieved another letter at his quarters - the long sought Commendation.
At the Tournament of Lords a year later, he faced Yeshu Malkanies in the decisive round. The battle was incredibly close, (and Vivali was likely helped by the fact that his path to the finals was relatively easy, while Yeshu had to go through Alejandro De Sevilla). Still, in the end, Vivali Zeltisberg became Pontifex of Belka.
Under his leadership, the Belkan society began to change some of its adminstrative tendencies. The army and the bureaucracy began to become less centralized, while lower officers gained more discretion in their affairs. Tactics, which had already been moving in a more free-flowing, aggressive direction made giant leaps in this direction under Vivali. The once isolated planet began expanding its various trade and defense agreements, and most of all, once again began to take a more hostile stand against the Saint Church and its TSAB sponsors.
Personality:
Vivali is an easy-going yet hard-working person, who is dedicated to the responsibilities of his position. He is a good mediator, and manages the personalities of those under him well, particuarly in regards to Alejandro and Yeshu. He may chide the latter for staying out too late drinking, gambling with his money too freely, or "fraternizing" with the women too much. But he may say to the former "Let Yeshu have his fun; his recklessnessness is what makes him dangerous". However, he has something of an arrogant streak, especially to outsiders. Furthermore, he has absolutely no respect for the TSAB or Midchildans. Finally, he can sometimes be jealous, especially in regards to women (though he's had a few relationships in his entire life) depending on his feelings for them.

With AA limiters mind you, according to canon. I'd say the average mage rank is somewhere between B and A-
EDIT: This is where I'm going to have Lords-related info. So without further ado:
*Looks at Caro and Erio more than somewhat skeptically*
That's your idea of an elite, TK? Teana counts for certain and Subaru's at least an elite in the making, but you'll have to excuse me if I don't extend the same status to wonderboy and Caro.

Device Name: Fulgardio (Dio)
Wielder: Lucius E. Testarossa
Element: Electricity
Stored Form: Stylized thundercloud (like Bardiche's stored form)
Standard Form: Halberd Form. Dio (as Lucius calls his device) has a blue-white sphere where the blade meets the pole. Dio also has a revolver style cartridge system (Lucius had it installed after seeing Fate's).
Second Form: Magnete Form. Dio turns into a two-pronged lance able to manipulate magnetism. Lucius can gather debris into a cluster in front of him, electrocute it, and then launch it at his opponent. This form is incredibly effective in residential areas, and near-useless just about everywhere else (due to a lack of iron, which is abundant in cities). It is also useless in aerial combat, unless Lucius is hovering just above the ground.
Third Form: Rapier Form. Not much is known about this form other than its name and presumed appearance.
And the work continues. Keep fighting the good fight Wibbles!

James, I'm in a hurry so I'll just touch on this matter quickly: physical ability does not have any effect on Mage Rank; mage rank is determind by a combination of skill (for passing the level up exams) and power (for having the juice to back up the skill to pass said exam). Furthermore, each time mages are designated in the series, be it Nanoha or StrikerS, they're classed at power: "S-rank mage approaching!"
Let me put it this way: I have Master Chief and Johnson inserted into Cadia. Chief (who took pretty much a 50% nerfing on all skills) is more capable physically than Ivanovich (russian, lit. "Son of John"); Ivanovich, however, is ranked AA simply because he's more powerful that Chief in firepower and energy. However, Chief can kick his ass once he gets in range for melee.
Then again, Chief has pretty much kicked the asses of everyone in the OFM.
On making your own devices: this has very little support in canon; Storage Devices are like the mass-produced M16; you're issued it and you use it. Note that in Subaru and Teana's unit, during training, both of them were the only people with custom Devices; everyone else used standard issue Storage Devices. In fact building your own device may be a weakness - note how Cross Mirage in its original form was wearing out pretty fast; it's like the difference between a bakakuk (a homemade malaysian shotgun) and a Mossberg 780. True, it was upgraded and retuned, but that was by Shari, a trained Device Engineer, filling the role of an armorer.
Regarding killing kids whose only crime is to be SSS-ranked, it flies against what's stated in the novel - YES I'M USING THE NOVEL SHUT THE FUCK UP ARK AND STOP YOUR GLOATING - that TSAB officers are expected to recruit any high-ranked mage/mage potential they find, even on a Non-Administered World. If said theoretical SSS existed on an Administered World, they'd be going into the TSAB ricky-tick.
Besides, it could never fly in Alpha Canon. Special Operations & Private Contractor Command CO is Lt. Gen. Jack O'Neil. O'Neil doesn't like people who kill kids - any Bureau unit does this, and he sics the OFM on them. (Who are a mix of SEALs, Delta Force, ODST, 160th SOAR, and ONI.)
And on the subject of Chrono: Comartemis, Outer Cadia holds a number of core principles. Among them, 2 stand out to me. Alright only in IRC, but anyway:
1) All Pairings Are Equally Deserving Of Treatment And Exploration. (Formulated back when Haru led the Legion.)
2) All Charecters Are Equally Deserving Of Treatment And Exploration
We don't knock other people's intentions. We don't knock how they write. What we do unload on is crappy writing, arrogance, Haru, the Legion, haxx, things that make no fucking sense in the Nanoverse.
And lastly, I leave you all with another 4-koma:
Years ago... in the time of Loli Naomi:
Loli Naomi: "Nii-tan, nii-tan!" Franz: "Whut?" Loli Naomi: "How do you make Devices?" Franz: "...why?" Loli Naomi: "I want one cuz then I can whack you on the head the way Emili-neechan whacks Glen!" Franz: "Sorry, dunno how. Lurch makes them. Through magic." Loli Naomi: "That's not a good answer." Ivanovich: "Lurch makes them through badass." Loli Naomi: "Badass! Yay!" Ivanovich: "You hungry? C'mon, let's go grab some chow." Loli Naomi: "Yay, chow! Unca' Avery's ta bestest!" Ivanovich:*grins and swings Naomi up his shoulders, humming a nursery rhyme to her* Franz: "....u-u-u-ucle Avery?" *spasms, heart attacks* Glen: "What are you doing spasming? Finish your paperwork."
My word, aren't you worked up. Points are valid. Arguments are somewhat nothing I want to kill. You've got to work on your tone of voice. A lot.

- Huge Mana Drain = This is a pretty elaborate Reality Marble. I have no idea how EMIYA even managed to achieve it when he was mortal, assuming he was mortal when he got UBW. If he was already the Counter Guardian when he got UBW, then that actually makes more sense. In any case, if this chick is mortal, the Huge Mana Drain is an easy one, which will affect her in two ways: the cost of activation and then the cost of maintaining the RM, that is how long she can keep it up.
I assume we are using Cadia's "Cannon Magic Theory", in which case, she won't be able to keep it up long at all, somewhere along the lines of 120 to 240 seconds. Maybe 5 minutes, I guess, if that's the only thing she's casting, meaning she had no battle actions previously and did even both with a Barrier Jacket, though if she has a low mana cost BJ then that's not so much of an issue.
Also, since it eats up a lot of mana, she'll be defenseless afterwards. Very few opponents I imagine will be able to survive something like this anyways. Hope she doesn't decide to copy Maysis from Super Robot Wars OG Gaiden and have a "Diamond Dust, Deathblow Poke" as a finisher during this attack.
- Difficult to Control = That is, her focus starts breaking as exhaustion sets in. Her first couple of attacks are precise and really crazy choreographed, but after that it becomes more and more difficult to control and anything goes. Hell, she can even become vulnerable to being hurt by her own attacks.
- Environmental Factors = I really don't see her using this in a desert, large bodies of water, or say some extreme environment like a volcanic region. Unless, of course, this Reality Marble only pulls in people and not the entire area with her. If anything, she'd benefit more from a cold climate.
- The Size of the Reality Marble = How big this Pocket Dimension of hers is can play another factor. If there is a certain point where it loops around, instead of continuing into infinity that can be a double edged sword. It helps her in the sense that there is a defined limit to this world so she can cap off the Mana cost at some point. It also helps her opponents to get a tactical advantage if they survive long enough to figure it out.
Hmm, I can't think of anything else obvious, so I'll leave it to the real Haxxbusters. Good luck, and may your ego survive intact, namu.
Now...THIS is REAL h4xxbusting my friend. We need such concise and well-mannered pointers, without going into too much tech or canon-based ranting. Just plain logic and good old common sense will do for h4xxbusting. Thumbs up, and let me tell me tell you: You are already a true-blue-classic-trained H4xxbuster.

Goose, you weren't really doing that much busting. You only busted the Lance Rifle and tsundere pettanko combat meido Sayoko-chan and a few things here and there.
Hush you, I want to sleep.

@Kha: I've been at it for a year too, though my production speed sadly does not match yours. It's been... interesting trying to incorporate a Mages "race" into the grim and dark future.
It's too bad my story doesn't match everyone's tastes, but it's a fact I've long accepted.
Well in any case, here's a preliminary attempt at my OC. Forgive me if I am ignorant of any preexisting characters with similar attributes or if there are taboos I just made. 1190 some pages is an incredible amount to go through, and the OC list is exhaustive to go through completely.
Spoiler for Here we go:

A potential villain, I suppose. The Church of Belka will most likely not like him, and maybe even Vivio, in a genetic memory sort of way. The blood that stains his hands is the same that courses through her veins. I took quite a few liberties with the history since I don't know of any canonical references to events that far back in the past other than Al-Hazard. Or I could just be a loony and am completely unaware of such facts.
So there it is in its rough draft form. I made it in less than an hour.
I'll follow up with a spell list after this gets kicked around a bit.
Word of my word, I LIKE this fellow. A lot. My kind of guy. I'd like to befriend him, really...we're of the same breed

He could very well be the Horus of Belka. At the same time, much of his transgressions were unintentional from his person, an accidental Judas. Unlike Horus, Noland has a slight chance of redemption.
Actually, I'd say he's a weird mix of Horus and Kharn the Betrayer.
... Heh. Kharn.
He would be discovered well before any of the series began. Thusly, rumors / horror stories / urban legends have plenty of time to grow, wither, and mutate. According to the timeline established by Nightengale, MC 040 is about 25 years before the events of the first Nanoha season. I may make it so that the recent (re)appearance of Vivio in StrikerS awakens the sleeping bloodlust in him, thus stirring him from decades of cold sleep.
While Carim, Hayate, and Acous are confirmed practitioners of Ancient Belkan magic, Noland is still relatively unknown due to lack of study. We as readers can easily assume his ability as a practitioner of Ancient Belka, but scientists rarely accept a fact unless it's been thoroughly tested.
Before any extensive testing could be done regarding Noland's magical abilities, the military decided to step things up and "accelerate" the examination process. Thus, Cocytus was reawakened and shit hit the fan real hard. As a result, further study was deemed too dangerous and Noland was sealed away.
I purposely made Noland's history vague and mostly unconfirmed so that he can be easily inserted into storylines. After all, history is only as accurate as what is written down, and not all written history is the undiluted truth, yeah? The obscurity of his history allows it to be modified without much difficulty.
Well... I see one possible path of redemption...
Spoiler for Possibility:
Noland: My liege... allow me to serve you once again. I must atone for my grievous sins and transgressions against you and our glorious nation. I have defied gods and demons. I am your shield. I am your sword. I know you. Your past. Your future. As I was once your greatest Knight, let me be your sword and shield once again!
Vivio: Auuu~?
Noland: Then I shall swear once more. Let the earth and heavens know my vow! I am the Hammer. I am the sword in Your hand. I am the Gauntlet about Your fist. I am the Bane of Your foes and the Woes of the Treacherous. I am The End.
Suddenly, Fate and Nanoha gain a rather unsettling new housemate...
I'll see if I can throw together his spell list and put it up soon. From the looks of it right now... it's pretty nasty.

Who is this Emperor you speak of? I serve only the eternally glorious and holy God-Empress of Mankind. All other false idols will be purged with extreme prejudice and hate.
Besides, fighting daemons is one deal. Social interactions with humans and xenos is not part of the skill set unless it involves one or more of the following: purging, scourging, cleansing, purification, annihilation, or everyone's favorite, EXTERMINATUS.
Hey, that was pretty awesome. My only comment is that he's blind unless his device is active.
Hmmmmmm... now that's a good question.
I like the idea of Primarch, but I also like the Cleric-Knights.
...Heh.
Noland Reiniger: Damned Primarch of the Cleric-Knights. He forsook his sanity and everything he ever lived for in order to save the kingdom he would shatter.
"The galaxy is not yet strong enough to face the horrors lurking beyond our sight. Our existence is one of indulgence, To heal a broken bone you must first break it. I will unify our fallen empire and strengthen it... even if I must be damned to hell forever for it."
Well, while we're at it, I'll put up the spell list.
Spoiler for The Power of Madness:
Note: This list is incomplete, possessing only those witnessed and recorded in history logs.
Knight Armor – Cocytus: Plate-style armor that almost seems alive. The armor seems to shrug off all forms of attacks under A class power. Damage to the armor is sealed up immediately, and no visible injury seemed to affect him significantly.
Knight Armor – Ancile: The legendary shield of the god of war. This manifests as an invisible field of sorts that deflects beams, missiles, and other forms of bombardment. The shield does not seem effective against melee attacks, but it has expressed stability in defense against bombardment spells up to Buster-type spells.
God Hand – Endless Jihad: (Passive) Highly accelerated metabolism allows for rapid regeneration of wounds and injuries. Given time, even lost limbs can be regenerated. The subject possesses the ability to remain alive even with major organs damaged or destroyed. It is speculated that the accelerated healing is responsible for his apparent lack of aging, or a considerable reduction in lifespan.
Insanity Sign – Mad Enhancement: (Passive) All physical attributes are increased drastically at the cost of sanity. The greater the synchronization, the greater the attribute increase, but the more difficult it becomes to snap out of it.
Insanity Sign – Terror of Death: (Passive) Laced into his aura and voice are subtle hallucinogenic spells that target the sanity and mentality of all those around him. Those caught in the spell are afflicted with debilitating visions of friends and family suffering, unspeakable horrors, and their own deaths.
Restriction Sign – Chains of Heaven and Hell: Originating from his gauntlets, two chains extend to incredible lengths for purposes of restraint, capture, defense, movement, and even attack. The chains themselves appear invulnerable to conventional weaponry.
Murder Sign – Bloody Hands: Swathed in disruptive energies, physical defenses like armor crumple like tin foil against the armored fists and greaves of the Berserker. Strangely, the hands themselves can extend out in a feat of anatomical and physiological manipulation, increasing his reach considerably. The hands are cursed to drip the blood of the Saint King eternally as a reminder of his greatest sin.
Tyrant Sword – Wraith Blade "Tyrfing": The cursed sword of tragedy. A long sword composed of as of yet unidentified energies, this ethereal blade disintegrates any unprotected matter in contact with it. The weapon can split into two short blades.
Reality Defiance – Kronos Shift: Manipulation of time-space allows for him to move at incredible speeds. Its maximum range has yet to be determined.
Bullet Hell – Gatling Rave: Long range suppression fire. Staccato burst fire of small explosive “bolts.” Rapid fire, but relatively low power. The sheer volume of fire makes it difficult for opponents to act. Originates from gauntlets.
Bullet Hell – Infernal Devil's Spear: Medium range anti-armor. A large bullet from hell, this fiery shot melts through heavy armor and shields alike. After piercing the defenses, the bullet explodes violently in a burst of sorcerous energy.
Cataclysm Sign – Holocaust: Close range anti-unit. The very air in front of and around the subject explodes in a firestorm of wild, scorching power. Any unit caught within the attack can be instantly incinerated.
This stuff will probably need the most revision.

In any case, I had begun imagining Noland's role way back when the Saint King was still strutting about. Now fellows, before I get lynched for what I'm about to present, let me say that this is speculation with nothing ironclad. Hell I'd consider this a joke "What if?"
I remember reading somewhere, probably that Strikers Nano! doujin, that the Veil of the Saint King from which Jail got the genetic information to create Vivio possessed the same characters for the Shroud of Turin. By this, it can be speculated that the Saint King is a reference to Jesus.
Now I'm sure everyone knows the story of Jesus and his twelve disciples, as well as Judas Iscariot.
The Saint King of Belka had an elite personal guard of twelve Guardian Knights, the Custodes.
Which brings me to Noland's position. I've mentioned in Noland's history as to how he is considered the Great Traitor, the Judas of Belka. As the Saint King's favorite Knight, he was selected to take the Eyes of Lunacy and make the ultimate sacrifice: become the killer of the Saint King and bring about a revolution in the galaxy.
With the Saint King slain and his mission complete, Noland is sealed away to await his liege's return.
With Vivio's "birth," Noland reawakens and wishes to return to his position as Custodes, with plenty of drama occurring in the process. He forcibly joins the Takamachi household where he becomes strange, if a bit awkward, member of the family.
Or.
Kamen no Maid Guy Noland.
*stands at ready for the responses, for a Grey Knight fears nothing.*
Oh. Yes. I forgot. Revisions are under way and will be ready soon.

@PhoenixFlare: Thank you muchly for the in depth review. Your suggestions have made an impact on development and I hope the altered versions are better.
Hell yeah. You should definitely give the series a watch. I LOVE the ED. Imagine Vivio having to live with Noland acting eerily similar to Kogarashi.
Spoiler for Maid Guy Noland:
It is a fine morning and another day of school. 15 year old Vivio Takamachi has awakened and washed up. As she puts on her school uniform, however, she is horrified to discover that the dress is too small! Drastic measures will be needed. Downstairs, Noland is serving the family a tasty breakfast of omelettes and hash browns.
Vivio: I'm going~! Oh. I won't be eating breakfast from now on...
Fate: Eehh? It'd be better if you did, Vivio-chan...
Noland: Exactly, Master. Even if you gained 1.8 kilograms in three days, you shouldn't worry about it.
Vivio: !!! How did you know? A figure as accurate as 1.8 kilograms... where did you find out...?
Noland: Hmph. I know everything about you, Master. In front of Maid Guy Sight, even if you're wearing clothes, you're actually naked to me. Hmmm...
Vivio: N-Naked? Sight? That means...!
Noland: *eyes are glowing* Hmmm... I am seeing it all, Master! Ah ha! Confirming an increase of volume in your breasts and butt. You are growing perfectly fine. But don't worry, I've prepared a larger size of underwear for you.
Vivio: NOOOOOOO~!! *dashes out of the house*
Noland: Hmmm. My master is so loud this early in the morning.
Nanoha: *White Devil Mode* Noland-san, I have something I need to speak to you about...
Later that night...
Bandaged Noland: Tonight's dinner will be bell peppers and beef!
Vivio tries valiantly to sneak out of the house.
Noland: Master, where are you going?
Vivio: Fatty dishes and peppers... I'm not going eat them! *notices Noland is RIGHT NEXT TO HER* KYAAAH!
*Vivio falls to the ground; Noland towers over her.*
Noland: According to your BMI and structure of bones, you have the potential to grow into an amazing body. Also, you're in puberty. It is not possible to cut your ration on food. No matter what, your weight will increase.
KAPOW!Noland is Flying Dragon Kicked in the head!
Fate: Uuu! You don't have to put it like that, Noland-san! Your words are too harsh!
Noland: *currently embedded in the wall* It will not change things. She must eat her dinner.
Bwahaha.
Oh yes. Kha, have you ever considered a change in uniform for you genderbent form? Like... this one?
Spoiler for Change is Good:
Hmm. This sounds interesting. I'm really starting to like this idea of the Primarch. If Noland is the favored son of the Sankt Kaiser...
Well damn. Noland really does look like to be the Horus of the Belkan Empire.
This is where the ambiguity and vagueness of Noland's history comes in handy. As I've said before, the truth could have been changed, warped, or misrepresented by historians writing the matter down. Thanks to this haziness, Noland's history can be easily modified to fit into just about anyone's story.
Thank you everyone who responded about Noland and his spell list.
Alright guys. I present to you all now an updated and modified spell list.
Spoiler for Spell List Ver. 2.0:
Noland Reininger
Unit Statistics:
Letters in paranthesies indicate Lunatic mode
Statistics are assuming that the average person is straight D's
Strength: B (S+)
Endurance: A (S)
Agility: B (A+)
Mana: B (D)
Luck: C (E)
Since Noland is a knight that focuses almost exclusively on close combat, his melee abilities are ludicrously powerful. As a cost, however, his ranged combat is far below par. Unless otherwise noted, offensive spells utilize Noland's personal stats rather than individual spell-based stats.
Interesting to note is that his surname means "Purifier" or "Cleanser."
Spell List:
Layman's version
Spells marked with Passive means they are constantly active and do not require active control. This also means there is a constant drain on his mana and stamina.
Note: These are the known spells that Noland has thus far revealed. More may be released or discovered in the future.
Defensive / Supportive:
Knight Armor -- Cocytus: Plate-style armor that can deflect physical and magic attacks under A class power and reduce the damage inflicted by attacks of higher power. Damages to the armor are immediately sealed up, though the wound underneath remains. The armor itself causes three changes in Noland's body:
1. The physical and mental limitations of the body are lifted, allowing him to use 100% of his muscles rather than the usual 20%.
2. All sensations of pain and exhaustion are numbed completely. Not even the greatest of wounds can be felt.
3. The body is reinforced against damage; the armor will immediately "treat" any injuries such as splinting a broken bone or resetting a dislocated joint. These treatments are haphazard at best and dangerous at worst.
The changes are a great physical strain on Noland's body, however, leading to exhaustion, heavy fatigue, and voracious appetite. A rest period of 48 hours is recommended between "uses."
Knight Armor -- Ancile: An invisible, intangible field surrounds Noland that works in conjunction with the armor as a first line of defense. It is useless against physical attacks, but "shooting" spells are deflected. Shieldbreakers can bypass the field, as can overwhelming firepower, but the field remains active even after being pierced -- it just fills in the hole.
Insanity Sign -- Terror of Death: (Passive) His very presence is fearsome, his battle cries sending shivers even down the most hardened of warriors. The aura of fear is strongest with 50 meters of Noland, gradually weakening as distance increases, affecting anyone within range. Those caught in this spell are immediately subjected to frightening halluncinations of friends and family suffering, decimation of what used to be a happy life, and their own deaths.
Insanity Sign -- Mad Enhancement: (Passive) All physical attributes are increased drastically at the cost of sanity.The greater the synchronization, the greater the attribute increase, but the more difficult it becomes to snap out of it.
Typical Synchronization values and their effects:
87% - The average value. Physical attributes are increased by about 80%. Noland retains shreds of his awareness and is capable of speech and following orders. He cannot, however, make overly complicated thoughts like tactics and strategy. The objective is destruction, and he excels in that task.
90% - Increased value. Attributes rank up to 100%. Noland loses the ability to speak and becomes difficult to control or command. Figures of authority may be ignored or even attacked.
95% - Dangerous Value. Attribute rank up to 200%. Noland begins to have trouble deferentiating friend from foe and may target friendly forces once all enemy forces are annihilated.
100% - Maximum value. Attributes rank up to 300% or greater. Noland loses all sense of self and reason, becoming a pure berserker with an insatiable bloodlust and great desire to kill. Allies and enemies become equal opportunity victims.
400% - The value Noland reached that resulted in the Fall of Belka. It is unknown how to reach this level, but suffice to say you don't want to reach it again.
Offensive / Weapons:
Murder Sign -- Bloody Hands: Swathed in disruptive energies, physical defenses like armor crumple like tin foil against the armored fists and greaves of the Berserker. The hands are cursed to drip the blood of the Saint King eternally as a reminder of his greatest sin. As his primary weapons, he is required to be in melee combat.
Tyrant Sword -- Wraith Blade "Tyrfing": Noland's ultimate weapon. A blade of unidentified energies that extends from his right hand. The blade disintegrates anything it touches and disrupts magic fields. Use of this weapon results in a great physical and mental strain, as it uses Noland's life force to fuel its destructive power -- extended use could very well kill him, as every minute of its use is a day off of his lifespan. As a melee weapon, he is required to be in close quarters.
Power: EX
Restriction Sign -- Chains of Heaven and Hell: Originating from his gauntlets, two chains extend to incredible lengths for purposes of restraint, capture, defense, movement, and even attack. The chains themselves appear invulnerable to attacks below AA class.
Speed: A
Control: A+
Range: C+
Bullet Hell -- Gatling Rave: Long range suppression fire. Staccato burst fire of small explosive “bolts.” Rapid fire, but relatively low power. The sheer volume of fire makes it difficult for opponents to act. Originates from gauntlets.
Power: C+
Speed: S
Range: A
Bullet Hell -- Infernal Devil's Spear: Medium range anti-armor. A two-staged missile-like projectile. It takes the shape of a fiery bullet that first melts through the armor or shield then explodes violently in a burst of scorching power.
Power: AA
Speed: A
Range: C+
Special: Shieldbreaker / Armor Piercing
Cataclysm Sign -- Holocaust: Close range anti-unit. The very air in front of and around Noland ignites and explodes in a ball of searing white-hot flame.
Power: AAA+
Range: D
Special: Area effect.

And Yunno doesn't, as far as I know, have offense. At best he would be a distraction.
I've been sort of talking about something called the "Lords", I think they need an explanation.
Spoiler for The Lords:
The Lords, known at various times as Heilige Herren, Herrenritter, and simply, the Herren were named for the victorious group who led the Anti-Vivians (The Anti-Vivians, though not actually against Vivian; they simply did not like the exclusive focus on her) to victory over the Vivans (who later became the Saint Church). They were a group of 7 elite mages of varied skills, who later acquired leadership positions within the Remnant Imperium Belkarum, with the leader of them becoming the Pontifex of the Remnant.
They are selected through a 64 person tournament, the members of which are selected by high ranking members of Remnant Belkan society. When a Lord dies, the tournament is held to determine his replacement. When a Pontifex dies, then the tournament includes the sitting Lords, though they are not removed from their positions, even if they are not among the winners.
Their tactics vary. In some iterations, they fight slowly, wearing down their opponents with brute power. In other instances, like the current group, they emphasize speed and flexibility, as well as highly unconventional and risky tactics, such as night raids, ambushes, and detachment attacks. As they go the Remnant Army as a whole tends to go.
The Lords, even though they are in the government, they are encouraged to be on the front lines of battle and risk their lives the same as any soldier. They are also expected to display intense devotion to self-improvement, study and personal honor. They are highly public figures, often adored in the streets, and they are expected to set a good example for the rest of society.
Lords hold their positions for life, though they are encouraged to resign due to old age. Rarely do Lords exceed 60 years of age.
Speaking of Lords, here is the second Bishop of The Remnant Empire of Belka, Alejandro De Sevilla

The area is relatively violent, and his father died in an attempted robbery at the young age of eight, leaving him, his mother, and 5 siblings. This took a terrible toll on his family, as his mother had to descend into vice, while his siblings had to participate in other illegal activity to make ends meet. Even so, he was the favored child of the family, and was encouraged to go to school and develop his mind. He was encouraged to read, participate in church, and study, and he took to this very quickly.
At this time, he did not show any magical talent, at least not to the point that he was noticed by the TSAB or any other magical authorities. However, one day, at age 11 he discovered a Storage Device, apparently left behind by a Remnant reconnaissance team. He was able to use the device, which alerted them to his presence. After a discussion with his family, he is taken in by the kingdom, while Alejandro’s family is well-provided for.
Alejandro proved to be a great talent, not only possessing a great deal of magical power, but easily picking up such things as military strategy, magical theory, while supplementing his growing knowledge with the philosophies of his home planet. At the age of 15, he achieved the rank of Grand Admiral of the Belkan Navy, the youngest mage to reach that level (somewhat controversially due to the fact that older and presumably more qualified candidates were passed over). A short time later, he faced the rogue army of Yeshu Malkanies at Morz, and though Malkanies fought valiantly, De Sevilla’s superior numbers won the day. This resulted in both the addition of Malkanies to their army, and an enduring friendship that has lasted to this day.
At the age of 18 De Sevilla became a Lord, coming in third place in the Tournament of Lords, losing narrowly to Malkanies.
De Sevilla is described as a “person of great humaneness”, known both for his intellect and his compassion. He is always cool and collected, whether in battle or in everyday life, and provides a great counterpart to the hot-blooded Malkanies. His one weakness is that he is not ruthless enough (he had several chances to defeat Malkanies in the Tournament of Lords, but did not take advantage) and this may be a disadvantage in close battles.
Finally, a short note about the magic system they use
Spoiler for Remnant Belkan Magic:
While they eschew "Neo-Belka", seeing it as a degraded and corrupt variant, their style of magic is not Ancient Belka, though it shares the same basic principles of melee emphasis.
The biggest difference is a greater emphasis on speed and manuverability, enabling quick lightning attacks. This was developed in an attempt to negate the inherent advantage of Midchildan magic because of its emphasis on ranged combat. Furthermore, there is somewhat more support-type spells than in Ancient Belka, and there has been a move away from pure specialization. Even so, ranged combat is still quite rare, and those are mostly specialists ala Yagami Hayate (though not as powerful obviously!)
The Lords of the Square Table. I dub them thus! And Yeshu Malkanies is your unfinished OC, right? Or something. I can't remember no more or something. De Sevilla's profile looks EPIC to me. Not ruthless enough? Now THAT'S a real problem, I say. A really problem indeed.

That is highly subjective however. As this is merely their opinion(rightly justified of course) of themselves.(Indeed, if they had been serious, things would have been very different. Not to mention destroying the enitre series with Nanoha dieing/being taking out of the equation from the linker core drain in ep 2). It won't necesarrily apply to all Belka v Mid duels.

Basically, for when Reinforce II was acting as Hayate's No.2 instead of being unisoned.
This would allow mages to have robotic assistants while no flouting the rules, allowing mages to be less distracted by command, control and communication issues and stay focused on the field. The Articular Device also possessed some combat capacity, and thus functions as a secondary spell platform.
In the future, the TSAB will begin subtly converting Earth's population to become familiar to incarnations of magic, and thus preparing the ground for a possible transition to Administration. One of the approaches was the embedding of magical technologies in everyday life, and the Articular Device was developed based on the amazing technical genius of one Mihara Ichiro. Technology for the devices, codenamed "Angels", as well as the arcane field projectors, codenamed "Layers", were leaked to the 97th development team under close observation.
As the Device had become an toy, it was soon the preferred secondary device for the several counter-Logia First RespONse Teams (FRONTs) embedded in the population, Nanoka included. This was because the Device could be carried and operated in plain-sight and yet be dismissed as nothing out of the ordinary. The toy also allowed the TSAB to discover budding mages very quickly, and reel them in.
The year is MC 0093. With the Arrancar incident settled, the Wind Squad could refocus on the most unlikely champion that emerge from the device arenas: one unassuming Misaki, and her latent Articular Device Hikaru. It was to be a routine recognition and recruitment mission, but something intervenes. Fingers point to the Piffle Princess Group, the 97th conglomerate that introduced the Devices on the TSAB's behalf. While the TSAB is certain that they are in the dark of things, the girls of the Wind Squad think otherwise.
As they break down each obstacle with overwhelming friendship and firepower, there would be no clue as to what awaits them, on the truth of the 97th's magical dearth, on the origins of magic, on the ugly face of a long-chilled revenge, on the other side of the Looking Glass...

Kenno Rioko is a Steel Mage, a Rare Skill concept I've been trying to hash out in IRC which amounts to a limited form of tracing (no skill inheritance, and simple objects or masses of metal only) coupled with some manipulation of the physical properties of metallic objects (reshaping swords, turning metal into a liquid without heating it, and of course a Rumble Detonator knock-off) and a limited form of absorption and redirection of elemental attacks. Rio's got Venus's fuku, a few of her attacks, and a variation on her personality, so at worst she's a port of the anime version of Minako, not the "eats planets for lunch" manga-canon Eternal Sailor Venus.
Really Night, after the month or two that I've been here, do you really think I'm stupid enough to port a planet-killer without really significant nerfing?

I doubt that.

Nice trap, he thought, reading the situation in the blink of an eye: Subaru's attack and the Barrett F shots had been intended to bring him right here where Tea wanted him.
A normal mage would have raised a shield.
An OFM mage would have run for cover and raised a shield.

Admittedly this is silly. But the possibilities! Magical Girl Baseball Nanoha! (In the original, Franz actually cut the magical round in half and was treated to a point-blank detonation of destabilized mana. And yes it should be obvious that by the tone I'm going for lulz.)

The truth exists beyond the gates
On a blue background, Satoshi seems to fall before the screen turns dark, then gets up again, this time the background is red and he is smiling devilishly,
a changed person.
The title then shows up: SearcherS. (In the background: a city, already twilight)

n a darkened room, Major Alexi Bulgakov nods at an operator, seeming to give an order. He and Captain Rachel Strada watch as the operator edits
Satoshi's profile.

While several mages fly past several buildings, a close-in shot of an alley reveals Satoshi, hiding, looking to see if they are gone. He's changed physically,
his hair black and dishelved, wearing a baggy black jumpsuit.
I don't want anything anymore (暴\き出す感情が around Turn round) (Abakidasu kanjou ga around Turn round) (My exposed feelings go around and turn 'round)
Still hiding, he looks out of the alley, seeing part of the city. In a flash, Satoshi sees the city in flames. Returning back to reality, he starts to walk into
the alley itself.
I don't feel the way as before
(Gang Bang son of a gun)
Walking in the alley, alert, he stops for a moment. Another flash then occurs, showing a hallway full of dead bodies and debris. Looking at his right hand,
another flash occurs, where it is stained with blood. The flash disappears as he makes a fist.

Two pictures showing everyone in Riot Force 6 and the 216th Special Combat Unit appear, both in black and white, burning.
Several other pictures are also burning in the background, each showing people and places.

his mouth, he smiles and takes one final step before falling down onto the floor.

In another part of the city, Satoshi opens his eyes to see somemone, wearing a cloak, wipe off the blood on his face. Two other shadows come into view as
Satoshi struggles to determine who they are.
(Camera them pans to his Device and a green necklace laying on a street.)

I was a little confused, but I assume I'm fine. I hope.

As I lay dormant, the lackeys of the Holy Empire of Techtrolls are celebrating what they call a victory of what they call the working Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha... And the OC Thread has been lamblasted for turning the series into something completely different from the original, but while they seem sympathetic to our cause, those /b/tards have no understanding of Outer Cadia's true nature...
Neither party knows what their deeds either in bringing in all these alien rules and regulations to Cadia, or slugging frivolous dismissals at our fair practices, are doing to our great nation!
My time is drying up. My techniques have failed me.
The Techtrolls may think that I have been defeated. That with Anita around I am no longer amongst the Khracky...
But they are gravely, mistaken.
The Bluecheesium and me are all that remains, but all that is necessary. For together we will raise a great army. Together we will show the Multiverse's downtrodden who the real enemy is. The Techtrolls promises us a workable and fair framework, but in the slums of Outer Cadia the homeless and hungry catgirls know the truth.
They have been forgotten! THEY HAVE NOTHING!
BUT!
Their ANGER!
We will take that spark and start a fire that will become A GREAT CONFLAGRATION!

Spoiler for MASSIVE 4-CHAN CLASS SCREAM:
The battle was nearing an end in the zenith of the sun. The two colossi, exhausted from their ordeal of fire and sword, readied their nicked, but yet keen weapons for their final assault, their glistening muscules tense from the lingering effects of their battle between lions.
Zarakiya flicked his hand outwards, drawing upon the ground a jigsaw of runes, their complexity unabated. The runes fell into place neatly, locking themselves into the titanic array painted upon the surface of the lividly scarred ground.
[Anglachel.]
Juste didn't even bother to waste that much time, his blank eyes seemingly flashing coldly in the bloody sunset. He flicked his wrist outwards, igniting a deathly aura around his spear, as the winds drew to him in whiplashing spirals, forming a sandstorm worthy of the Iblis, the very avatar of the great sand demon.
[Rhongomiant.]
"READY?" Juste's shout carried over the din and wrack of his own spell.
"YOU DAMN BETCHA I AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Zarakiya was in no mood to back down either.
Yes, there would be no backing down. There would only be a duel. A duel for glory. And proof of the best...the best of the best.
It began even before any could see it, with Zephyrus at full tilt trying to keep his winds in pace with the two as they clashed, the energy wave from their assault devouring the earth around like with the earthquake's may, their fearsome battlecry rending the skies apart like the lance of the gods.
Pretty much sums up my reaction. Another deep chara here.
I like how you build on you spells a lot, there's quite some detail stuck inside, it's delicious.
And... dear god, poor boy. Don't take it too hard, both about your work and your girlfriend. If it's bad, it's better to break up now than later.

Lucius smirked. "Actually... you'll be fine if they don't touch you. Fulgardio... Magnete Form!"
The halberd began to shift forms. "YES SIR." The change finished, and Lucius held the two-pronged spear in the air. Spada tensed, and sunk into a defensive stance.
"Fulgardio... if you would, please."
"SWEEPER." A weak wave of magic spread across the junkyard, and faded into nothingness. Spada smirked at his father.
"That all, Dad?"
Lucius smirked back. "Of course not. Fulgardio! PULL!"
"MAGNET RISE."
Spada blinked. And then threw himself to the ground to avoid a microwave that had flown at him from behind. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Subaru cling on to Teana, a look of slight panic on the formers face. And then he looked up, and blanched. His father was still holding Fulgardio in the air, but a massive sphere of junk had congregated above the sphere. Lucius's smirk grew wider.
"Dio... Level One."
"CHARGING." As the device spoke, streams of electricity arced about the junk orb. Spada closed his mouth, and put up the strongest barrier he could manage. Lucius swung his spear down, and the sphere flew at the boy.

I wasn't fighting. I was relating my long-running irritation with all the hostility. My post was deleted because it quoted other deleted posts.
Sadly, yeah...
LE, I am not going to back down lightly this time. A line has been crossed. And I am determined to fix it. Depending on the results some time later, I WILL take action, I WILL contact moderators,
As I've been talking with a few people before. One of the pride of the OC was being able to thrive without the surveillance of moderators. We were all intelligent and civil enough not to let our emotions get the best of us and end up with our pride on our mouths. We were all friends that could patch up after a squabble.
And what are we now? According to some people I've talked with, they said that there are:
There are those who do excessive technobabble; including an honestly excessive obsession for HAXXbusting and those who wouldn't recognize restraint even if it danced naked in front of them
Given the current situation, here are some of the lines from several people that I won't name.
~~~
"I can't even post anything properly without splicing since they would nitpick to no end!"
~~~
"If you don't learn restraint, then you don't belong here!"
~~~
"I can't even be bothered to appease them anymore..."
~~~
"If there was no restraint, then people would be GODMODDING left and right!"
~~~
"They take everything TOO seriously that it's more constrictive than fun."
~~~
Etc, etc, etc.
And you know what? I AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE TO A CERTAIN EXTENT.
It's already bad that we usually have extreme rightist or extreme leftist. But all the negative vibes is multiplied a MILLION times by gratuitous hostility!
In the end, it's no longer about who's right or wrong. It ends up being a vendetta against a person or a group of people trying to stab each other EVERY POSSIBLE WAY!
And as such, I cannot let this kind of development go on any further. I tend to be one of the most soft-spoken people here. But this is no longer an issue I can let pass. I pray that EVERYONE do a collective reprise and reflection on just what is happening now.
I'm not doing this in favor of either party. Since this is a unilateral self-righteous action of my own. And as such, my side is my own. I am not influenced by other people to do this. People may hate me or whatever. I don't care.
I DEMAND THAT THIS BE A TURNING POINT FOR OC!
On what direction? I don't know. But I hope it's better than this rut right now.
I DEMAND THAT IF THERE SHOULD BE ANY MORE EGOTISTIC SQUABBLES, THAT IT BE TAKEN TO PM'S INSTEAD OF DEFACING YOUR HATED PERSON OUT IN THE OPEN!
I've been monitoring BOTH OC and IRC. And I can attest to this fact.
I DEMAND THAT PEOPLE FROM ALL SIDES OF THE SPECTRUM LEARN TO BE MORE CONSIDERATE AND LESS HOSTILE TO EACH OTHER!
Yes. Make amends if you can. Be more open to ideas. Be more open-minded. If you don't want to. Then please don't go violent! Please try talking to each other with a mellower perspective!
I DEMAND THAT THERE BE RESULTS ARISING FROM THIS POST INSTEAD OF EMPTY PRAISES OF 'QUOTED FOR TRUTH', ETC!
~~~~~~~~~
OC IS BECOMING A PLACE FOR BREEDING CONFLICT ALREADY!!!
I. WILL. NOT. LET. THIS. HAPPEN.
I'd rather shut down this thread for good rather than let it be a factory of spite! And no, I am not joking. If this is a type of evil that can't be stopped by rules, then I'll just have to be the grim reaper who can call down the thread's fall if the time ever comes. But believe me, I don't want that time to come. And again, I don't care what people would think of me now. Nor am I siding with anyone else. I am my own ally in this. And I have no regrets.
I believe that's all. Thank you for you time.
EDIT: I guess I'll have to lower the fonts. Can't have too much trouble running after my skin.
I did say that I have no regrets in doing this. But a number of clear-headed people helped me out a bit. I am saying sorry in advance if I offended people. But I will not retract my statements because these are what I felt. Oh, and sorry for sounding like a tyrant. I know I sounded so resolute. But I suppose my soft-spoken side really is the stronger of the two halves.
Resolute =/= Tyrant, Aaron...we got your point. And I don't care that the font was large anyway, you made a valid and pertinent point anyway, so I couldn't care less that it was.
Anyway, congrats on letting your other side rip once in while.
In anticipation of PF's GuardianS: Chapter 8!!!
Spoiler for GuardianS: From the Edge chapter 2 snippet:
[Crusader, Escutcheon, Cranagan City] [January 22nd, MC 081] [2024 hours]
The pressure was intense… every single personnel, be it from Chrono to the rest of the admin staff inside Crusader. They were paying rapt attention to their screens… Waiting, searching, hoping that this first mission would provide desirable results.
If one were to ask more than half of the staff in Escutcheon, they were still vastly unprepared for this sudden call to arms. But for the sake of their objective, they had no choice but to proceed with as much care as they can afford without sacrificing efficiency.
Zeroing in on one person, his current opinion of the matter can be summarized in three words.
“This is troublesome…” Aurion muttered under his breath as he briskly walked away from the room where he delivered the ailing Leona earlier. He had suggested that she see the doctors, but she insisted otherwise. Aurion, despite himself decided to relent to the azure-haired intelligence officer’s request. His left arm reverted into its natural form, a robotic prosthetic appendage. Almaria was attached to its slot above the elbow.
Almaria’s symbol on her surface glowed, [Chief.]
“Yes?” Aurion quickly pressed a button on his left arm, triggering his capability to hold conversation with his device telepathically.
{Detected scrambling signal from the AI-enabled Device, Wyrd. I have already activated anti-tracking countermeasure equivalent to Stormnet Level 4.}
Aurion smiled amusedly, ‘As to be expected from a member of Intelligence…’ He turned to his second device on his arm, ‘Almaria. Set the data-gathering program from Setting X356-728 to X367-458. The keywords are Viper and Chameleon.’
{Understood.} Several lights blipped on her interface, {I have set the specifications as requested.}
‘Thanks.’
He quickly made it to Crusader, the command room of Escutcheon. As the door opened, a sight of intense pressure from everyone in the room greeted him. Everyone observed they’re assigned viewing screens with rapt attention. As he strode him, Chrono spared him a glance before turning back to his own set of viewing screens.
Aurion looked up at Chrono, sending one message telepathically, ‘Admiral Harlaown.’
‘Yes?’ Chrono answered in the same manner, not taking his eyes of his monitors.
‘I’ve been meaning to file a request today, but it seems like the enemy got to us first.’
‘I know. I’ve anticipated you would.’ Chrono replied, ‘Permission granted.’ A hint of a smirk crossed his face before reverting back to his pensive expression, ‘It’s not like you’ll stop if I told you to, anyway.’
‘Thank you.’ Aurion then proceeded down to one of the terminals; the one manned by a bespectacled brown-haired young woman, Shario Finieno, the head of the Communications Division. “Shario.” He called her, “Can I request an interface to the Commu?”
“Dauer-hakase!” Shari exclaimed softly as she turned around. She immediately turned her head further towards Chrono, who just looked at her, nodded once, and focused his attention once again to his terminal.
“Uhm... Roger.” She looked confused, but otherwise made a data-screen appear and secured a connection with Almaria to the Communications Interface of Crusader.
[Connection, acquired. Processing data.] hummed Almaria’s sweet tone in her slot.
“Thanks.” Aurion gave Shari an appreciative nod before walking back beside and a little below Chrono’s post. He waved his left arm sideways, prompting several data screen to surround him in a 180 degree frontal and peripheral orientation.
‘I just need an accurate outline of the current situation…’ he pressed several keys over the 2D keypads that appeared in front of him as well, quickly prompting the screens to browse thru the several area mapping data and straight into direct video-feed information from some of the devices of the deployed troops. A small overhead map appeared, pinpointing the current position of the troops deployed. ‘You indeed have caught us by surprise.’ His eyes narrowed, ‘Then as retaliation, I won’t let anything get by my sight.’
Comments for this?><
And comments later.
P.S. We're on a roll!
Yes we are, Aaron.
And what's this? Aurion action? WANT. End of story.
...fuck I can't remember what I posted so that I can make a flameless version. Well I guess it was a mistake to have curry and hot spicy indian pickle for breakfast.
Now, harsh words have been said. I still wish to say Foxtrot Uniform to Kha, TK, ark and Keroko for dragging us all into this whole mess (though more of a fire a shot into the air, honor has been satisfied gesture). Though admittedly I went abare on the thread.
Now, Kha, you wanna write your stuff, that's fine. I don't give you any shit over your timelines nor insist on Rebuilding them. I'd expect the same courtesy towards other works from you. Also, who are you to dictate what is canon or not? This is the OC fanon. Stop acting like Reiji.
Now, on the issue of compromise, since this got deleted (I personally edit out posts on the other boards where I mod, but that's my style and AS evidently follows burn it with fire so we deal with it and move on), if a writer is going to play in the shared OC sandbox, he'll have to learn to give and take with the other writers. Take Aaron and PF, who ended up merging GuardianS and GenerationS together. If you don't want to play in the OC shared sandbox, well, then, there's Kha's route: Unlimited Timeline Works ~ Infinite Creation of Krack.
Alpha follows the Shared OC fanon up to a certain point. Once that point happens, however, it's made clear that Alpha is in a seperate canon of its own - think of it as a Kerokanon branching off point. Or like how Fate and Unlimited Blade Works branch off from each other.
....jesus, I just realised: This morning, I wasn't AbareGoose. I was AbareReijiGoose.
And you, stop making personal attacks so blatantly, could you, please?
Make it a tease if necessary!
EDIT: And Geebus. Looking at my own post, I realized on second thoughts that I myself might need to do something...but it's too much trouble right now...><
That's your idea of an elite, TK? Teana counts for certain and Subaru's at least an elite in the making, but you'll have to excuse me if I don't extend the same status to wonderboy and Caro.
Caro's ability to summon Voltaire get her in the elite ranks.
No, X-rank is Kamina, who kills his enemies with just the sheer awesomeness he radiates.
X-rank is Dio's Made in Heaven, Remilia Scarlet and her fate manipulation, Flandre Scarlet, Keine Kamishirasawa and her ability to change, conceal and consume history, one Athena Exclamation from Saint Seiya's Gold Saints, and maybe Giorno Giovanna's Gold Experience Requiem.
Caro's ability to summon Voltaire get her in the elite ranks.
I'd be more impressed if she could do that at will, but Voltaire is much more of a limited-application trump card; awesome when he lets himself be summoned, but it has to be an absolute last-ditch thing, which severely limits his usefulness from where I'm standing.
With the Rebellion, I've thrown the former out the window. And I feel liberated having to not conform to Alpha. I'll just Rebuild Alpha if I want to. :3
That would be lolz-worthy IMO :3 .
One day, after Alpha's finished, I think I'll write a fanfic that's something like SRW Alpha, in which the multiple Nanoverses come together... or something.
Erio almost balked at the way a completely alien voice lanced into his ears and oxymoronically smashed his dream gently. The boy roused and stretched, then slowly cracked his eyelids open, a little disoriented from being suddenly returned to the real world. The cabin was still dark from the long flight through voidspace, and due to his small stature, the young Mondial could not see anything past his rotund co-passenger seated beside him, or over the seat in front of him. He had shut the window shades as after watching them for a long time the auroras of the void started intruding in his sleep.
Erio tugged the sleeve of his coat back and peered at Strada. The device lighted up in sync, and told the boy silently that it was now 4pm Midchilda Standard Time. The captain continued cheerily about the weather at Crenagan Starport, what to see and do in the Heart of the Administration and other well-rehearsed lines, but Erio found looking back at that mental image he work up with.
"And so he came, upon wings of glittering starlight..." Erio recited again absent-mindedly, sepia-color memories flickering at every syllable.
That was a line from a story his then would-be Meister told to him after he and Miss Testarossa rescued Null and Erio from the culling enacted by the Brotherhood of Nod. The two boys were experiments, artefacts and tools of the ruthless organization that claimed to fight for a greater cause. And like broken tools the Brotherhood threw them aside to save their skins. Had it not been for Kha and Fate that day...
"Sir? Excuse me, Sir?"
Erio peered over the mountain of fat at the space hostess with an outstretched hand.
"Could you raise the window shade please? We'll be landing shortly."
With a small 'Oh!' Erio turned to his right and threw the cover open hastily, and for a moment or two, all he could do was squint through the blinding whiteness...
If not for them, and the Aces, and the many friends they had, he would not have been here, waiting for his vision to clear. Slowly, the sleek metals of Crenagan City's skyline faded into view, and the boy pressed himself excited at the scene.
Ever since that day, he was always looking forward to the next step. And here it was, the City of Dreams.
....jesus, I just realised: This morning, I wasn't AbareGoose. I was AbareReijiGoose.
The only sound in the room was the sound of an EKG machine's beeping, and the slow, rhythmic breathing of the room's lone occupant.
She was covered up in blankets and wearing an oxygen mask. Her eyes were closed and her eyebrow's furrowed, like she was having a bad dream. An IV pumped fluids into her, keeping her alive as she slept, and life support systems monitored her condition.
Within the room, a whisper could be heard. This whisper spoke in a language unknown to anyone, save the room's lone occupant, and it was a language she had only heard in her nightmares. "Return..." it whispered. "Come back to me..."
The woman in the room lay unmoving, seemingly unfazed by the voices. In her comatose state, not even the shouts of the damned would be able to wake her up.
But in her mind, Takamachi Nanoha screamed. Her nightmares came back to her, led by that one sole being, known as the Gravemind.
