What's more surprising is Haruka Tomatsu voicing Haruka, the more childish one, and Yuka Iguchi voicing Yuu, the more mature one. It makes more sense if it's the other way around given the type of character each of them usually voices.

It's true Haruka Tomatsu had some roles in voicing childish characters but I think she had voiced more characters that are mature rather than childish. Yuka Iguchi on the other hand had voiced a lot more childish characters than mature ones. That's why I think it would be better if their roles in this series were reversed.

You haven't seen/heard enough of Iguchi's roles.

It's thoughts like this that explains why people get typecast.

I really don't see the point in saying they've voiced more of a certain type of character if they're perfectly capable of doing the role.

I think the cast is pretty good because Iguchi Yuka's lower pitch sounds pretty mature and Tomatsu Haruka is pretty diverse.

Well that just redoubles my interest in this series

, since after seeing more of Yuka besides Index, I've come to like her voicing, and her being mature is definitely better than her childish type voice she uses for Index.

I do believe these aren't considering height, so it's ok (Yuu is supposed to be shorter than Haruka). Also, you can already clearly tell Haruka is "bigger" than Yuu
