To be honest, I think they're going to keep that coloring for Nappa's outfit throughout this saga/arc. I'm not sure what the actual color should be although I believe your statement is correct but they might be keeping this coloring instead. As for why? I have no idea but we'll see once they arrive on Earth.

Wow this episode was awsome, i loved the re-edited Raditz fight, its like watching a real fight between people now!

No more pointless blasts and staredowns, as much fun as it was to see them always blast em and think, haha i won! Only to wait till the dust cleared as they saw their shadow and were like "NO WAY!!" I wont miss thoseXD

I was a bit sad they edited out all the blood at the beam cannon part but meh, I'm just too inlove with such a good job they're doing on it^^

Doesn't bug me. Color is a product of light, and if I'm willing to suspend disbelief that there are some weird ass planets out there where Vegeta and Nappa visited, then I can certainly believe that the lighting on those planets may differ than the one on earth. So as long as their hair and outfit colors stay consistent according to the planet they're on, I can look past it.

I fully acknowledge and understand what you're saying here. But the fact of the matter is the only reason why Vegeta and Nappa's colours were initially different in space was because Akira Toriyama hadn't yet revealed their colour schemes in the manga, so Toei made up their own colours in the meantime. By the time they got to Earth, Toriyama had already unveiled their colour schemes in the manga, and so Toei adopted those colours for them from that point on.

Off topic? You know, I never realized how silly "Special Beam Cannon" sounds. Just pretend you've never heard of DBZ before, and you hear the words "Special Beam Cannon." It sounds like a little boy playing power rangers. Since his mother tells him that he is special, his beam cannon from his power ranger toy is now special too. Just thinking about it makes me tingle

Me too. I mean, it would be a pretty sad letdown to see that they completely recreated the Goku vs Vegeta fight in the opening and then have to see that all they did in the actual episodes was just remaster. I am perfectly fine with remastering, I just hope it's as good as what we see in the opening.

Did you guys see how they censored the hole in Goku and Raditz's chests? It seems as if they want lend it over to FUNimation at one point. It'd be pretty fun to see Dragonball on Cartoon Network again.

I don't think that's the reason they censored it, Funimation did release uncut stuff too so it's Toriyama's own reason. The manga didn't have much blood in that scene so he made this without it too. Makes sense too, since it's an energy attack, it cauterizes so there's no blood.

At least "Special Beam Cannon" sounded a lot better than the Japanese counterpart.

First time he said it in Japanese, I was like:"what?". Didn't even know he was gonna fire it until the beam came out.

2nd time was like: "huh?".

No, it wasn't a filler. The second time however, when Gohan transformed as a result of the fake full moon projection from Raditz's space pod, is a filler.
