それもそうですね。 「ジャン」と呼ばわりすることさえ認めてなかった彼が、教え子とあんなことをするとは思えませ んね。I agree that it is hard to imagine him doing that....
In any case, I doubt we'll get much more insight into those two since they are not the main characters.

I know you are hoping to see more of Anrietta and Siesta in the next book. (any idea when its coming out?) I have no doubt Anrietta will play a role, or at least have a few good scenes. I'm hoping Tifiania can make it back onto the stage somehow myself. I don't really care for her deformity, but I think she has an interesting storyline. She's one of the kyomu-wielders, so at some point she has to make it back into the story, but then who's going to take care of her orphans. Without her music box, can she learn new spells ? Can she learn to use "fairy power" 先住魔法, in addition to kyomu spells?

What I'm looking forward to is how Tabasa tries to get closer to Saito. Will she adopt him like an older brother now ? Or will she attempt to monopolize him romantically? In either case, she's the type who bottles up her feelings till they explode, which means she is quite dangerous... hehe. Being a square mage now means that they would have trouble stopping her too, should she decide to do something rash. (and saito has already proven he wont hurt her, so she might feel like she can get away with it) Plus, Slyphie is a fully willing accomplice, who has been eyeing saito for her master since the gaiden....

Well, back to shakugan for now. Where I left off shana was getting extremely bipolar/tsundere wrt yuuji... its becoming familiar territory.

Again, that's just the surface image. Nobody really knows what goes on underneath, so it's kinda pointless to debate on it anyway.

Tiffania will definitely make a return, of course. The core of the story now revolves around the 4 void users and their servants + the "gate" to the holy land. I'm betting Tiffania will make a big return in the future and remain strong until the end.

I'm thinking Tabitha is going to be the silent assassin type. That is, she won't openly express her feelings or anything, but many of her actions from now on will reflect her affection for Saito (ie. small gestures, expressions, perhaps doing nice things for him, etc.).

Now on volume 6(上)... But if we count by normal light novel standard (300 pages~ per volume), then I have read about 17 volumes (5068 pages) worth of text already. ^^;

I'm convinced that Sayama-kun is the most awesomest guy I have ever seen in a fiction. Even cooler than Saito.

wow... after reading all the summeries, this series is way good and long for them to make another 12 ep season 2.

anyways, iam still suprised that even though louise almost died to see saito, she hasnt even replied to his confession yet... whats up with that? =/

hey, i was just wondering (please forgive me if its already been asked/answered), but do they go into the whole magic thing and how it really works in the novels? Because in the anime they pretty much state that there are 4 (with 1 being lost) types of magic, then thats it. They don't really explain anything else, how the combat works, they just sorta make you have to guess. So ya, if someone could answer that would be great.

Where do i view the novels for my poor english mind. FYI my azn affinity is Chinese. I've only read to novel 4 on Wrex and I wanna read more of the GREATTTTTTTT SERIES PSTTT CANT WAIT TIL SECOND SEASON (summaries are okay)

Out of curiosity. For those who have read up to the latest novel. Is the end of the series in sight, or is this going to be another one of those stories that drags out for years...(Eyes series like Ah My Goddess and suck)

Unlike mangas or animes, light novels don't really "drag out" because there are no "filler chapters/episodes" (although one exception would be Haruhi). Every new volume is meaningful and adds more to the overall development of the story.

A similar question was asked on the last page, and in my opinion, the novel probably won't end anytime soon, due to the complex development going on right now. But nobody knows for sure when we'll start seeing signs of Zero no Tsukaima ending either. For now though, I can say there are no signs of the novel ending.

Thanks for your translations Sushi-Y, I've been following them on the AQS boards and here. Is there any chance of a possible summary of volume 8? It seems to be have been skipped over, with a jump from volume 7 to summaries of volumes 9 and 10. Would be most appreciated!
