Hmm...finally a story that didn't involve a world of anthropomorphic creatures. I've stopped watching Pixar's work since Finding Nemo in the hopes that they'll finally produce a 3D film as serious as the hundreds of cutscenes in our current action video games (*cough*MGS*cough*). This might finally pull me back into it. |

This sounds really cool... the little robot reminds me of one of the avatars in a boardgame called Robo-Rally (original edition: art by Phil Foglio). Looks very cute and has a bit of Silent Running (Huey, Dewey, and Louie) feel. EDIT:I deleted the pic.... the host server I was trying out screwed my link from my image to their advert-heavy home page. Just visit the website or wiki to see Wall-E. Call this a negative user report for sourimage.com

If any of you guys are going watch Ratatouille, they are going to show the trailer of it. There is also going to be a showing of a short called Lifted. As you may know many of the enviroments showned in Pixar shorts are used in their next films. Such as Boundin's desert landscape used in Cars. And the Paris like town from One Man Band was used for Ratatouille. In Lifted, there will be some space enviroment, so you can expect it also coming into Wall-E.
Edit: Speaking of trailers, I actually found another trailer posted a some website. The trailer came out with the new Ratatouille game, if anyone is buying it or has it, check it out. http://www.filmwad.com/pixar-s-i-wal...er-3096-p.html http://youtube.com/watch?v=hJv5puWC8Gw The trailers is kinda like a tv advertisement. Looks close to Sci Fi. Last edited by psycho bolt; 2007-06-28 at 12:52. Reason: Found new trailer. |

Finding Nemo was an incredible film; even though I have my regular intake of dark serious material, Nemo wasn't flimsily outrageous or anything of the sort. At its core it's a very strong movie about family; particularly that of Father-Son relation. It also has the best music amongst all Pixar films, such that I even coughed up money (which is not often) to buy the soundtrack. Also, having studied about artificial intelligence, I can tell you that talking and emoting robots are VERY much anthropomorphic (at this time). |

Everytime I hear that Pixar has a new movie out I just kinda roll my eyes and try to avoid the hype. Then I see the trailers, the movies, and I wonder what dark pact they signed to continually produce such amazing movies.
I can't wait for this one.
