I'm kinda confused by his finger movements, because unless he's wildly jumping from chord to chord, with no real fixed focus on which "instrument" he wants to be, it just doesn't match up.

It's called tabs. When you're playing an electric guitar, single notes don't have to be strummed, as long as it's hooked up to a specific input in an amplifier.

Ok I'm also in search of titles and I need your help experts. Have a look at episode 13 of Shakugan no Shana Second and listen to the background music on at about 5:47 into the episode. I'd like to know the name of the piece.

No one knows because it's a new track for the second season and the soundtrack isn't out yet. They also played this when Yuri showed up in episode 9.

I've just started watching this anime and I had no idea that the OP came from it. I had heard many times before and I was somewhat surprised to see it as the OP for Shana. At first it just didn't seem like it fit the anime well, but I love the song.

First soundtrack to the second season is wonderful stuff --- i'm a huge fan of Ko Otani's work, and have been for many years, so it's always good to hear new material. Around 70% of the soundtrack is all the happy tracks we've heard, though that's expected when you think about what happened in a bunch of episodes, though the battle/drama tracks are that powerful that i'd say it balances it all out nicely.

The track that played when Pheles' first made her appearance is here which is a good thing, i had a feeling it might appear on the second. Track 29, La visiteuse.
