Data Manipulation = Mage
Physical Combat Skill and Acrobatics = Rogue

Yuki is Mage/Rouge. Her weapon is +9 Dual Dirks of Higher Sorcery (Lv. 10). Her skill build is Summon Spears, Weapon Break, and Teleport Enemy.

Name everything her skills reference.

Summon Spears would be what Ryoko did, as I recall... Yuki never did that. Weapon Break would be what she did to the knife...

Teleport Enemy being that she had Ryoko transfer to Canada...? But not really...?

Yuki did do that, she summoned them from the ceiling to hit Ryoko. You got everything right, so dango for you.

EDIT: Actually, you might not get one, yet. Apparently, the last time I gave a dango, which was a long time ago, it was to you, so the board won't let me give another to you until someone else gets one.

There is another Haruhi related VN project tho... but that would be offtopic. Although there is Kyonko in the VN

The problem with continuing the D&D story is that I'll have to nail down which edition I'm using, or leave it as utterly vague and open (which will hurt the story, at least with what writing skills I have).

Judging from the canon timeline of MoHS, the D&D edition still being sold at the time would be 4E (if not newer). And it is a lot easier for newbies to pick up and learn, especially if they have video gaming experience prior (which, since Canon Kyon references the very popular Dragon Quest games, is applicable here).

However, I'm still much more familiar with 3.5E.

To be honest, I picked D&D mostly because it was the topic of discussion in this thread at the time, and also partly because the only other game system I'm familiar with which has an easier learning curve is BESM, which would be far too twee to use.

And once again the WoD gets shunted sharply to one side...

...although I understand why. At least there's still rays of hope and shiznit in DnD.

You would probably use the edition in use during the original story's writing time (2003) or the original anime's release date (2006). Thus 3.5 works.

I'm thinking more MMORPG than D&D. You can be a bit more creative with MMOs, secondary classes and all that.

Where are we stuck on the main project?

If it's Kyonko's alias (from Book 3), are we done with Book 1 and 2?

Also the name shouldn't be that hard:
Mary Smith fits the John Smith type...most common English names. (Mary and John due to common bibilcal naming conventions, and Smith because lots of early English last names were based on professions and there were alot of different 'smiths at the time)

Hugh Mann.

Sorry, Mary Smith is good, but I wonder if we should try to make the last name different.

By the way, I found this buried in some random pages on TVTropes (sacrificing another half-hour of my life...)

Haruhi Suzumiya, Greater Goddess

* Goddess of Tropes, The Unstoppable Force
* Symbol: SOS Dan Logo
* Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
* Portfolio: Tropes, Genki Girls, Aliens, Psionics, Time Travelers, Tsunderes, Hairstyles
* Domains: Creation, Chaos, Charm, Destruction, Envy, Mentalism, Tyranny

Kyon, Demigod (actually Overdeity with sealed powers)

* The Ordinary High School Student, Patron of Normality, John Smith
* Symbol: SOS Dan Logo
* Alignment: Lawful Neutral
* Portfolio: Deadpan Snarkers, Nicknames, Lampshade Hanging, Laws of Physics, Weirdness Magnets
* Domains: Balance, Courage, Fate, Law, Protection

And on a related note...

Konata Izumi, Lesser Goddess

* Lucky Star, #1 Haruhi Suzumiya Fangirl
* Symbol: A star...duh!
* Alignment: True Neutral
* Portfolio: Genre Savviness, Shout Outs, Otaku, Moe Moe, Viral Marketing
* Domain: Craft, Dream, Trade

I thought Jerkass was also related to Konata.

I'm not making this up.

My territory and responsibility.

Stalled for lack of art. And a lack of time on my part. Bolt should be studying for his exams too so hence his absence.

Might still get done but its gonna lack alot of punch without the character sprites.

Well Smith is the most common surname in the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom (including Scotland). It is the second most common in Canada (Li being the most common there) and fifth most common in Ireland. There is no common surname that is second place in all of these counties.

One reason why I also didn't mention Shadowrun.
