It seems, that Makoto Shinkai (5cm Per Second, Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo) is planing a new movie. He announced it today on his website.

Da Vinci noted that all of the previous winners — 2008's Gaku - Minna no Yama, 2009's Chihayafuru, 2010's Thermae Romae, and 2011's March comes in like a lion — all received major boosts after their wins.

The A Channel one isn't an announcement. It's saying that the already existing OVA will air on TV.

Don't judge such things, although I agree that making more LN's like that get annoying. Wait when the anime airs and you'll see how much it affects the viewers.

There's a chance for it to be a TV series, because Tow Ubukata recently said he was working on a movie and a TV project, and they've revealed the new Fafner movie so this might be it.
