oh man that RX-0 bgm when banagher sortie.... the people making gundam unicorn know how to utilize gundam unicorn beautiful soundtrack to the max, this is what gundam should be, 2 episode so far and gundam unicorn hasnt dissappoint me.

anyone noticed LA + sign in kshatria interface after capturing unicorn? so laplace or la+ was actually something associated with some kind of mobile suit interface system?

Dmanb, that was a great episode, a perfect one ! It was perfect in every aspect :

Character development, story, depth, song, battle, animation !

All the character are great : Char V2.0, Marida, Audrey, Banagher etc....

I espcially like Marida :3333

This episode deserve a 10 !

It took long enough for a real mecha otaku to show up in the Gundam franchise (Nina Purpleton notwithstanding)

Yeah, I must say I really like the guy. I'm only up to volume 4 start of chap 3 (almost exactly where ep 2 stops

) but I had fun reading about his interactions with other people!

I really enjoyed the episode, but I didn't enjoy it as much as episode 1. The first 15 minutes really felt rushed, like they've cut a lot of content in between scenes.

The mobile suit fight was really well done, one big homage to the original first encounter between Amuro and Char with the lines being slightly changed.

Shame they had to end with another cliffhanger, seriously what's up with that?

I admit my initial reaction was: that grey thing? It's the wrong colour!

Also Black Three (tri) Stars and Red Comet are used as bar names, awesome!

Another thing of interest maybe I'm completely misinterpreting the scene but was the blonde pilot hitting on Mineva in the beginning: 'you remind me of that actress.' I mean seriously use a better pick up line

Actually, the whole fight just screams Ep 2 of MSG, with Banagher just standing around shooting his beam rifle while Full Frontal flies around dodging.

So true. Makes me wonder if there was more in the novel from the fight that wasn't animated.

Pretty awesome episode, I'm still a little bit confused though. I don't have any gundam knowledge except for the two gundam 00 series, so anyone got any suggestions for me as to what I can read up on to get a better feel for what is going on?

I'm really starting to like marida a lot :X. The little things she does on the side make her seem like a genuinely nice person.
