Well, I just got a news latter from the BLood+ IG website. They had stopped sending news letter for a long time. I was very surprised when I got it. I really hope that this series is somehow tied to the original Blood plus. I had almost given up on a new Blood+ series. I guess I.G. is trying for something that has a huge following after many of their projects were not as successful as Blood+.

This show has nothing to do with Blood+. Blood+ does not have a "huge following" at all. The DVDs sold pretty badly, and are on par with most of the stuff IG has released since then, or worse. This is basically a CLAMP series which happens to feature Saya.

Maybe it has nothing to do with Blood+, but I.G is hoping to attract fans of the Blood+ series. they are sending the news letter to people that subscribe to the Blood+ website. It is working on my case, just because it has the "Blood" name and Saya in there. They are even using Saji's famous phrase "ute, Saya"

Pretty excited for this series but the one major problem I have with it is the fact that Nana Mizuki is doing Saya... considering the obvious direction CLAMP is going with this story and previous Saya characters I have many doubts about her performance in the role ... I suppose only time will tell... X_X

Mizuki Nana play the quiet and strong roles before, I don't think she'll have any problems voicing Saya.

Saya looks pretty cheerful in some of the scans, so she'll probably have a bit of a happy side. All depends on if she starts of not knowing about who she is, or go a different route this time around and know right from the beginning.

Going to be interesting to see what story CLAMP give us.

I'm having that strong feeling that Saya is going to know exactly what happened because she seems quite skilled with the sword and doesn't need support basing off the very short video.
