The idea is actually pretty old already.
I already put a patent on the plan to kidnap JK, put him in the trunk of my car and drive with him somewhere to ask him, wtf he did with SR and what he will do. Dude's, the day will come. The day will come. Uptill then, bear with it. Somehow, this guy must earn money. His job is to draw mangas or illustrations. If he's still working on NNA, then we have to wait, till he finishes this job. Bla bla bla. kenjiharima, you wana go to Japan?

Jin Kobayashi's School Rumble 1-Shot, Next Series Planned
posted on 2010-02-09 20:02 EST Jin Kobayashi has brought back his most famous manga, School Rumble, in a eight-page, one-short story that ran in the March issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine on Tuesday. The issue has also confirmed that Kobayashi is planning another series in the magazine, but has not revealed a date or title. Kobayashi ended his School Rumble high school romantic comedy manga in July of 2008, although he began the School Rumble Z spinoff of side stories on month later. School Rumble Z ended last May. Kobayashi is still working on his Natsu no Arashi! manga, which was adapted into two anime seasons last year. Del Rey published the 13th of 22 volumes of the original School Rumble manga in North America in September. Funimation released the two television series adaptations of School Rumble and the School Rumble: Extra Class video project. A third School Rumble series was bundled on DVDs with the last two volumes of the original School Rumble manga.http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...series-planned Well i guess he's so busy for other manga... J.Kobayashi your the best... Can you make some more Eri and Harima story?? alright.. i guess have to wright some story about them.. my head is pumping.. i like this part.. hahah later.. |

Yeah he'd better! In 2012 we're all gonna die! Ahhhh~~~!!!
But seriously, it takes some months or even years before a mangaka gets back working on an old project. I guess KJ got what he wanted, his laying low on the manga scene.

I hope he does continue it in the near future. Sooner or later he has to realize the ending to SR is terrible and depressing...
I would be satisfied if it ended concretely with Eri x Harima, Tenma x Kurasuma, Hanai x Mikoto, and anything else he wanted to put in |
