from your description that look like a fake harem anime I'll explain what I mean

In my opinion there are two kind of harem anime real and fake

fake harem- is one of Girls will win the guy in the end that is fake this is not a real harem

real harem anime Some thing like Campione Where the main character has a relationship with all the girls in the harem, and there is no winner

Well, it's certainly not a True Harem, where it's decided from the beginning that the MC will be with them all. The girls tend to fight over him a lot, and he still hasn't noticed.

To be honest, it's probably his sisters fault. She's kind of perfect, and it's heavily implied she is a brocon. So she's kind of spoiled him for anyone else.

Brocon means she loves her brother to an unusual extent, to the point it may or may not be considered romantic. She hides it pretty well, but when it slips out, she's got it pretty bad.

The alternative is siscon, which would be abnormal love for a sister. Like, for example, Ichika has for Chifuyu.

What urks me more is that I have a HUGE idea about why the mecha are there but the author has not only chosen to ignore its setting, but he literally uses the MO of “I’ve run out of lame harem rehashes, here’s some combat.” And with the anime, “here’s a bunch of really famous voice actresses to aurally fap to.”

EVERYTHING in the goddamn setting is bloody wasted!!

And then we get to how the author in fact dissed fans who lapped it all up (those who weren't coming at him with pitchforks after they recovered from Ichika no Baka), indicating that this was all a premeditated attempt to fish for money.

But on the second though, can we call IS a "chimera" story? I mean, there isn't much original in IS to start with...
