This show will cater to my pantsu/ass fetish nicely. Anything else is a bonus. The character designs look good in all the right places. Mainly, the backsides AND the eyes.
This and Senran Kagura this season = 2D pleasure heaven. Funny enough, fanservice heavy shows tend to be the ones I end up finishing each season.

The opening theme sounds really promising for me, especially with that pop rock tone reminiscent of LiSA, albeit without the constant yelling. The visuals are respectable in every aspects and the animation looks surprisingly good. The only two important things I really want however are :
1. I know it's going to be a fanservice-ridden show, but the writters should be able to tell a good, serious (but not so much) story with likeable characters and a good pacing, even if it was written by a man known for his atrocious shows such as Guilty Crown. I don't care how much fanservice will contain, as long as it remains good and not overdone throughout the series. 2. The fight scenes should not be done in still frames all the times like Sword Art Online (based on what I heard on some community forums). As long as they are fully animated with a limited amount of still frames, it's good. If this show can accomplishes those requests (one of them is fine but still could be classified as an inferior series to me), it could become one of my favorite shows of the winter season (alongside Psycho-Pass of the current season). Otherwise, I'm going to end up feeling very sad.

I'm willing to give this show a shot: the promise of science fiction has piqued my curiosity (i.e. my weak spot), so I'm itching to see what kind of world this anime will be set in

The show have Rinne no Lagrange vibes, so this is something you're looking for although the mechas aren't here but have females wearing armored cheerleader outfits to fight against aliens. Hopefully, when it airs, I hope it looks better.
