The problem with bakenezumi is, they have such cute ears. I just want to scratch them. (Also, I bet Kiroumaru's mane is soft and warm...)

Sooo... that's the next ED, huh? I'm not very happy about it... the visuals can save it somewhat (I really hope they're not going to be Maria centric), but it's just meh, from how it's sung in-character (why?!) to, well, everything else. Eeehh. Why couldn't they leave Wareta ringo as the ED? :/ Also, it was a pity to waste so much time with just the song, they could've had Maria talk during it.

I don´t think that song is the new ending theme, is just an insert song nothing else, they will continue with wareta ringo.
Also cool episode, mariaxsaki childhood , I felt so sorry 4 saki...she looks so exhausted

Damn, every episode is so heavy, I was kinda taken aback with the lovey-dovey-yet-very-sad song at the beginning. I don't know why, but with every episode in this teenage arc(and some in the childhood arc), my heart beats in fear from the beg of the ep to end. I am so drawn into the characters, specifically Saki, that her fears become my fears, as I can do nothing but anticipate the grief that's set to await her

. I REALLY hope the theory of Maria being controlled like that Queerat queen by Yakomaru(or whatever his name is) is untrue

.

That demonic dream gave me the creeps

. I wonder what is that supposed to represent? I'm guessing that the weird silent boy was Shun? Maybe some kind of alternate persona? Shun's the only one to be shown talking to Saki in her subconscious, though I wouldn't doubt it being someone else.

I don't think that was an opening; just an insert song depicting Maria's and Saki's love/friendship.

That was an incredibly long letter...

Oh, and it was a very emotional ane engaging episode too!

It was really tough to watch Saki break down in tears when she tried to be positive about their bleak situation.

So what exactly is Maria's relationship to Mamorou? It's clearly not romantic, but she seems to act like a big sister whose obligated to protect her weak and helpless brother.

Almost looks like the person from Saki's nightmare in this episode.

WHAT A HUGE RIP OFF! finally saki satoru do it(i didnt even get it until i read someone's post) and we dont even get to see them kiss! so gay/yuri kisses n stuff is allowed but not even a shred of that..what a let down. I WANT MY 20 MINUTES BACK!! there was enough time to add satoru and shun french kissing but NOT this.What crap!!

Spoiler for ep 16: Anyway, wow, they did the whole letter, I didn't expect that. (I wonder if they'll do that other letter in its entirety...) And they even left a little bit of Satoru's monologue about the origins of their power. There was some really nice seiyuu work in this episode, too... I really liked Hanazawa Kana as Maria, she used a really beautiful voice for her. And damn Kaji Yuuki for doing "heartbreakingly gentle" so well... sniffle and Namikawa Daisuke keeps being excellent, he totally steals every scene he is in. For a long while I kept wondering about how they'd handle the Satoru x Saki sex scene, well, I guess leaving it off-screen is a way of handling it? But I can understand why they decided to go this way. Lack of time aside (okay, there would've been time if we hadn't had to listen to the Maria song) it wouldn't have meshed well with the tone and mood of the episode. It worked in the novel but I don't see a way it could've worked as well here... Maybe we'll get a flashback later on. (At least I hope. Though I don't expect them to do the entire scene, which is a pity because it's adorable until it starts hurting really bad.) Oh, and Saki's little nightmare was awesome.
