Saying that, I'll be direct and pop the big question to the few ladies here. Would you offer sex in return for that big contract that will gurantees the next pay raise/promotion or even to save the job ?

Come to think of it, TRL told me that this is some kind of power trip for the SCDF chief. I kind of agree with this because the top male of an organisation wants to be the dominating one and hence has sex with a female IT director; thus boosting his ego that he has control over a capable person instead of all the "small fry" in his office.

In actuality, the person in the most dominating position is one who has absolute and complete control over him/herself. But no man/woman is infallible because there is no way one can defeat him/herself forever; as a person he/she is always improving and growing stronger.

Hence nobody is perfect - if you are you wouldn't exist because you have no body to manifest as.

"Stimulus" spending can be directed to citizens and government agencies just as much as corporations. In the US, the initial stimulus package passed in early 2009 included substantial Federal grants to states and localities to help maintain their payrolls. Individual citizens received direct subsidies from the Federal government and saw their social security taxes cuts. Basically we're just talking about traditional "Keynesian" approaches to a situation where private consumption and investment have collapsed leaving government as the only agency capable of bankrolling a recovery.

Europe's problems are very different from America's. The notion that you could create a European-wide monetary union without a consistent fiscal policy across all the Eurozone states was, to my mind, doomed from the start. In the US the consequences of Federal taxation and spending generally consist of large subsdidies from wealthier states to poorer ones. Ironically, citizens in the states that receive the subsidies generally support the Republicans, who want to dismantle the Federal government, while those living in the wealthier states usually vote for the Democrats. Europe has no obvious mechanisms, outside of things like the Common Agricultural Policy, to provide the same types of transfers from richer countries like Germany and Denmark to poorer countries like Greece and Portugal. Nor do I foresee any movement in the direction of coordinated fiscal policies any time soon.
