So, the new loli comes in with Shannon and Kuma. She shows proper dignity for a guest of such a family, showing no sign of being unnerved despite being the center of attention. Genji introduces her as [furuko]-sama, at least I think so since I accidently clicked past. Klauss welcomes her to Rokkenjima as a guest, and tells her to relax as if it were her own home. She thanks him, and introduces herself. "cc I am [furuko] [erika] ([furudoerika]). "
She apologizes for intruding, and thanks them for welcoming her warmly.
It seems like the text might be coming from her viewpoint?
She sighs, and seems to find something weird/indignant/whatever about wearing the old clothes.
She appears to be younger than Battler and Jessica. The way she acts suggests she is a high school student, though.
Meta world frame appears.
Spoiler for EP5:
We actually thought that Erika was younger than Maria due to her lack of chest, but I guess she's just a DFC. xDD
Seems like an interesting character. I'm wondering about how she's linked to Rika, if there is a link.
The scene opens on Genji. Something is wrong? Krauss says not to worry. Natsuhi is worried about careless mistakes. Genji says a shipwrecked person has come to the manor. They are both surprised, this is the first time a unrelated person has come to the island.
Cut to Nanjo, who is giving the mysterious person a look over. They are uninjured. Natsuhi catches up with Genji. She asks him if the mysterious person is a guy. He says no, it is a honorable young lady. Natsuhi is relieved that it is a girl. She excuses Genji.
scene change, the parlor
Everyone is gathered, and fussing about the sudden visitor. Rudolph says something about the rose garden and walking? Hideyoshi says prevention is better than cure, and something about the life vest, since he doesn't doubt she'd have died without it. Eva asks what kind of child she was, above or below George or Jessica?(I guess age?). Maria answers like Jessica, and says she was exhausted and wearing a bathing suit? Rosa says she is lucky to have come to the port side of the island, instead of the other side.
Kyrie says its too bad she is stuck there, since the boat won't come for a while. The door bangs open....but it's just Gohda and Kanon with tea. Gohda wants to get brownie points. Rudolph asks him how the visitor is doing, but Gohda doesn't know, but says Nanjo , Shannon, and Kumasawa are looking after her, so not to worry and drink some tea. Kanon distributes the tea. He is kind of pissed, since he knows Gohda is doing this for brownie points. Maria offers to help, but he tries to turn her down. Maria being Maria, this doesn't happen, and she helps prepare the table?
Eva asks if Nanjo has said anything about the girl. Gohda says there seems to be no injury or anything.
Nanjo arrives, grabbing everyone's attention. Eva asks him about the girl. He says she is fine, and will be fine in the morning as long as she doesn't run a fever, albeit exhausted. Everyone is relieved, since there is no hospital that can be reached. As they get more details, Maria speaks up. She says that ships are scary after all, like Battler said, since the one the girl was on sunk.
I think Kyrie said to keep it a secret from Battler? Natsuhi and Klauss arrive, and are greeted energetically by kissass Gohda. Klauss asks if the guest is in fine condition. Gohda jumps to confirm that she's fine. Natsuhi is relieved, and asks where she is now. Nanjo says Kuma and Shannon should have taken her to the bath, then dressed her in prepared clothing. Klauss approves of this course of action, then turns to ask everyone to treat the guest well.
Everyone agrees, and Eva suggests George and company should greet her too. They go to call the guesthouse, when Genji knocks on the door. He announces the arrival of the guest, then comes in and stands aside. New girl enters, accompanied by Shannon and Kumasawa.
I'll go ahead and post this and start another one

"Therefore, I was allowed to put me out as a horse." <---not sure about how accurate this was translated. She might just be saying she was allowed to put out her own piece, not that she is the piece.
LD is amused, saying it is nice, since the game gets boring with the same identical cast every time. Battler is pissed, saying she doesn't exist on Beato's game board as a piece, and is unrecognized by both of them. LD taunts him. She asks Beato if she has an opinion, but Beato is coma-Beato, soo...nothing. LD laughs triumphantly, and ask if his false accusations mean he is quitting. She says that doesn't seem like the technique of a person like him. Battler is frustrated looking, and gives up.
Bern tells him to be relieved, saying a detective declaration was on this horse(I guess piece?). Battler is confused. Bern states in red that "Erika is a detective. The detective is not a criminal. No evidence is needed for this proof."
LD brings up Knox Article 7: The detective cannot be the criminal. She says that not only is it in red, it is against the rules of the game for Erika to be the criminal. To avoid word tricks, she also says in red "Furudo Erika is not a criminal."
Battler demands that she repeat in red "Furudo Erika doesn't influence the current game of Beato". LD does so. Adding, "Doesn't exist in the current world, and the influence is not given". He asks about the number of people on the island. LD says in red "Only one person, Furudo Erika, has been added. Otherwise, the number of people is the same."
There is a clamor of noise in the corridor, and Battler, George, and Jessica come bursting in. They are all surprised by the extra, and Battler asks who. Maria answers that she is a guest that came by crashing. Battler is confused.
George asks Genji. Genji says she is their guest Furudo Erika-sama. Then he turns to Erika, and introduces the cousins to her. Jessica introduces herself, still kind of confused. Erika returns her greeting.
Battler also clumsily introduces himself, I think?
Meta world frame appears. Bern points out that every human but Kinzo is now in the drawing room. LD pops in and says
I think she's saying that everyone is in the drawing room, confirmation? The translator didn't like how she sad it an left a lot undone >_>.
Battler confirms that the 18 people of the island became 17 with the confirmed death of Kinzo, then increased by one with the addition of Bern's piece, returning to 18 people.
Ok umm my understanding is a very mangled. Just started Ep5.
Spoiler for Spoilers?:
Am I understanding this correctly that, after Beato goes into her catatonic state, Bern and Lambda will take over her role until a real outcome is reached?

If I am hearing things right,
Spoiler for EP5:
Bern and Lamba are playing the game together, and Batter is just watching.
We enter 1st person mode with someone.
Direct quotes, cleaned up to be readable
"I" look around at the humans in the drawing room.
First, the guest Furudo Erika.
Afterwards, Kumasawa and Shannon.
Genji is beside them.
Natsuhi and Klass welcome the guest.
Gohda san immediately starts appealing.
Kanon has his normal unamiable, candid expression.
And, Kyrie is with the old man.(Rudolph, so I guess this is one Battler or another)
Uncle Hideyoshi is with Aunt Eva.
Maria is with Aunt Rosa.
And, Doctor Nanjo.
And I, right and left; George-aniki and Jessica.
This is everyone.
All the people on the island.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
This is awesome. Kinda cool to have EVERYBODY in the same scene for once, too.
so....
1. bern place erika as horse piece in the chess game
2. erika is neutral, no influence to any flow of the game including the previous one, cant be murderer, can't influence the game, and detective(yet she is a horse piece, that gonna be annoying when you play a chess game and there is one neutral horse keep jumping around, yet the color is grey and all that horse do is....well jumping around, giving hint to enemies:P)
3. it is still only 17 people in the island and gameplay like games before, with exception this time/game they add one more for erika only.
4. there is hint that the first 6 murders could be prevented, while battler doesn't seems to know how to do that. Sounds more and more like higurashi.
George says something along the lines of "feel free to be casual". He says he is George. Battler gives his name too. She thanks them, calling them George and Battler as asked. She asks them to also call her Erika. Jessica gives her regards, too.
Erika was given a room the second floor of the guesthouse to stay in. She will stay in a room next to...."[toku] [bu] shop" >_>.
Erika is formal and dignified at first, but her expression softens as she speaks with George and Jessica.
Direct quote :
Thus, "Detective" Fududo Erika was arranged on the game board.

Dude I think you should bring your summaries over to the actual Ep5 thread since it's derailing this thread.
I'll be moving my summaries and questions over there too. Let's leave this placve free enough to discuss other things rather than letting it get bogged down by Ep5 scene discussions.
Its the typical October 4th stormy night. The scene comes to a stop on Natsuhi, in the corridors of the mansion. She is talking to Genji; she is glad the clothes loaned to Erika fit well. Genji says Kumasawa used old clothes of Jessica without permission, and asks forgiveness, both for using the clothes and because they were such old clothes from junior high Jessica.
Natsuhi says it isn't a problem, because the clothes suited the guest. I think she also tells him to arrange more clothing or something? if she is pleased with them? Genji thanks her, whatever she said. Natsuhi asks if he contacted the police and her family. He confirms that he did, and they were very anxious.
She suddenly changes her mood. She mentions the idea that the girl's arrival was not an accident. Genji says she fell from a boat or whatever, but Natsuhi wants to know if there is proof. He says he confirmed it, she had fallen from the back of a pleasure boat unnoticed by the crew. It was in nearby waters, although they are unsure where exactly.
Natsuhi questions the likelihood of her managing to drift to the island, saying it was strange for the boat to be out in this weather, too. Genji says there are stories that the local currents cause things and people to drift to the island. Natsuhi asks if it was really an accident. Genji realizes Natsuhi is paranoid about someone or something arriving on the island.
Whether the accident is real or not, maybe Furudo Erika isn't a real name.
Natsuhi seems to abandon the line of questioning, asking about Kinzo's secret. Apparently operations are going well, and the girl isn't curious any more than the rest of them. She will retire to the guesthouse after supper. Natsuhi makes sure Genji knows to tell the girl something suitable about Kinzo. He says he understands.
Fade to sub-meta with Beatrice.
From now on I'll post in the game 5 thread, so look for these to continue there.
Okay, maybe Battler does decide to become the "Endless Wizard" and challenges Erika. However, this doesn't mean he's actually taken an anti-mystery stance, he's merely doing what he always does - flipping the chessboard over - and playing the game from the perspective of a witch to find out Beatrice thinks, how her game works, and what the rules and conditions really are.
Know thy enemy, know thyself.

Spoiler:
It wasn't actually implied that the becomes the Gamemaster and declares war on Bern and 34 to take back he and Beato's game?
I see it as a fight between the "anti-fantasy with love" vs. "ruthless anti-fantasy".

Well I don't know, I'm just going off of what I've seen from the game and what I've read here, so until the translation's out it's just speculation.
