A little late, but I just read chp 42... man, again, I AM GREATLY IMPRESSED how the author (a)brings random nobodies into the manga and give them actual personalities and (b)manages to bring even the most unknown minor char(usually used in some kind of joke and in only 1 panel) from 15 chapters ago and bring that char back into the limelight with a purpose. F'kn AMAZING! I really never read anything like this.

Another thing, Kusshi-senpai was great in this chapter. How the hell can the author consistently bring in a seemingly random char, and have him/her stand out so much, even as a gag and succeed? Her dedication to help others despite her natural look(y'know, like an evil miser planning something...evil) kinda gave me a shock at how respected and kind she was.

I cheese-ed hard at how Kazama was treating her like a nuisance until he found out about her true nature =03. He may shout and get annoyed a lot, but it's nice that he knows how to properly be considerate of others in times like these. Same thing with the Takao thing. Once Takao mentioned that she didn't like being called 'you', he started calling her by her name(with no honorific in the next chap =03). Makes you realize that, despite not being perfect himself, as a char in relation to other chars in this manga, he's like the perfect protagonist.

One thing to add, I'm disappointed, but not disappointed at the importance of Roka in that game. Disappointed because I like her char as much as everyone else(not Takao/Funabori level, but veeeery close, like many of the other chars), but not getting a lot of priority; and not disappointed because it's still funny as all hell, so nothing is really bad about it.

Yes indeed. Funabori is,my fave of the female charas tbh, even though it looks as though she has been relegated to simply a side chara.

upon seeing what happened after the possibly John Woo segment in action, its right to say that Kenji gained another weird admirer... as if Roka, Takao and his environs never fail to make him insta-tsukkomi tho.

also, the expectancy of seeing the female childhood friend Mogusa still intrigues me....

They seem to get caught up in some cooking showdown but Kazama keeps asking Funabori if it is alright for him to eat her cooking. She is of course delighted that he asks.
