The reason for the 1-hour specials is directly related to the fact that we've gotten a lot of pauses lately. Example; The last episode was a double episode because we didnt get an episode the week after.

ty zamme, i had a feeling he wouldnt allow that to happen . i didnt think this show had so many pauses. was there any reason behind it ie holidays or speciall events (sports or wat not)?

Yeah, the pauses are usually due to holidays and special tv-airings that block their timeslot. Or perhaps they choose to air a double episode and voluntarily takes the next week off? There's no telling what kind of deals they're making.

I have a manga-related question. Like the Shukaku (Ichibi), are any of the reamaining Bijuu given official names? If not, then what names/titles is each individual Bijuu referred to as?

As far as I know, only Ichibi has a real name other then a reference of tails.

that makes sense, no point in trying to find out wha airng time contracts they decide to make. though they do seem to take them rather often so maybe its already planned to have 1 hr eps. ie bleach rarely has then that i know of.

Ah okay, I was curious as to why that is since six of the beasts have been revealed already, yet only one has a unique *Special Name*. I'm guessing it has to do with the original idea concerning the Shukaku being a corrupt spirit of the sand. Thanks anyway

And they seem to do double eps and stuff when they cant do an ep the week before/after, like ages ago i forgot what it was but they couldnt have any naruto for 2 weeks so they did a double ep(was some sports thing on i think)

ive read up to ch 355 since posting that. i sure dont want to be around when/if akatsuki gets their jinchuriki. naruto and sasuke will probably have to tag team him/her.
