Just want to give this show some love. This is the kind of storytelling you just don't see every day.

Saying "this show tells of the adventures of a magical stuffed bear who fights for justice" covers the plot. The show relies on mood and visual design to tell its story (the dialogue is minimal and little information on the characters is given).

No sense in going on about how great I think it is, it's easy enough to download this one-shot feature and see for yourself.

I have been hearing some good things about this show. I passed on it because it looked too kiddy, if there is such a thing. I will probably dl it when I get home.

mmhh what should i say....

just watched it....and i kinda feel like a 10 year old boy again

indeed it really relies on the moods and how the Characters looked,

but....

for me it was just a bit too kiddy-like...

I HIGHLY recommend people watch this, especially if you liked Cat Soup

notice that the first 4 seem cutesy... but the last 2 give you a better idea of how messed up this OVA really is.

it basically ranges from really cute, to really fucked up all in intervals of a few minutes... SO funny and creepy

plus, at only 25 minutes (yes, 25, AnimeNFO is wrong again.. is anyone surprised?) it's a short watch and you have no excuse for not doing so

and this isn't a kiddy show. i don't know any responsible parent who would show this to their child.. dolls going around attacking people and running around all crazed and angry/scary/creepy looking is definitely not something you show children

I just watched it. Super Kuma-san (the character) is the most wonderful thing ever created by the human race.

If you haven't seen it, highly recommended.

Wow, I was up at 1:30 am studying for a test I had this morning when my download finished. I intended to only watch for a couple minutes to see what it was like but I couldn't turn it off and finished it. Best new anime i've seen in a while. The art is awsome and the story very interesting. Suprisingly dark for a show about a stuffed crimefighting bear. I'm gonna be showing this one to a lot of people when they come to my house.

Yes there are some pretty funny parts.

I agree this anime was pretty good. Animated well and a good mix of creepy and cute.

Plenty of darkness hinted at with the unexplained mysteries... clown with his face pasted over the Dad's head in the the family picture, Super-Doll's pink cloud face attack, sick child maybe dying.

Does anyone know enough Japanese to determine what other stories this director has done?

ps. Don't go to the SnF site (one of the fansub groups that did this anime). They have a very obnoxious pop-up which won't close without using Task Manager.
