that was never stated in the game, but I guess you are right it is almost impossible to think about it if you don't know certain events

Endless bullshit lol; what a frightening new power.

I didn't like that particular batch of episodes, but I don't really think it was the worst crap ever (honor goes elsewhere), just really mediocre-- the hate does seem overblown. But sometimes I get annoyed when some people (in general) are like "It's just like Higurashi/Umineko!" Do not lump that crap with When They Cry!

Though I'd like to see any other art style-- Deen, well... -_-

While Kyoto Animation is known for their ability to adapt source material as accurately as possible, it is not known if they can handle outright horror (Full Metal Panic: TSR's more violent scenes and Haruhi's Lonely Island, nonwithstanding).

However the thought of what people call "Troll-Ani" and Beatrice has some rediculous appeal...Kihihihi. Plus the thought of even more moe Stakes, Beatrice, and Maria appeals to me.

Yea, honestly, I doubt character designs will be a problem. They seem to be overly dramatic when it comes to drama, which kinda makes it worse, but that's fine. (Oh and questionable music selection sometimes) Though the very latest Haruhi episodes had very nice BGM

Umineko: I've seen the stupid adult discussion scene over 3 times they should have added the clap scene -_-
You haven't seen that scene at all so you kinda don't knwo what you are talking about. That scene was important to explain why Eva&Rosa were able to find the gold. Now those two look like wonderwoman also it would have helped the anime-only watcher to maybe figure out the epitaph. (or at least get a clue how it works)

Next time please get your facts right before oyur neg-rep other people cause you are feeling butt-hurt

Oh and now I'll act immature

I have just finished reading the VN to the point where this episode ends and I must say DEEN YOU SUCK!!!

I thought Umineko anime was good before reading the VN but really now I understand the rage of many VN fans. It's at least 3x better than anime. Especially episodes 14 and 15 seem so rushed and terrible compared to the source material it's painfull to watch them. The whole epicness of magical battle, Eva finding the gold, Battler and Virgilia's first talk, Evatrice's ceremony and Rosa's tortures is completly gone.

You have to understand the consequences. If 14 and 15 were slower paced then then future episodes would have to be more rushed.

Put it this way, the original VN is so good that even if DEEN stuffed it up it's still quite a good anime series to those that are still unsure what to expect in the next episode (ie. myself).

that's the reason, as I state again, that I prefer to watch the anime first before reading the VN.

True, but that is why they shouldn't animate 4 arcs with just 24 (or was it 26?) episodes. They should learn from their mistakes with Higurashi.

With Higurashi they tried to fit 6 arcs into 26.

This time it's 4 into 26.

Not as stupid but still stupid.

They should have done 3 into 26.

It's funny, I remember that before the anime starts airing, a lot of people say that 26 eps for 4 arcs is enough.

I thought they would only do three arcs over 26 episodes initially. Overall, I think they've done a decent job with the time they had. There have been some pacing issues but at least Studio DEEN wouldn't try to stretch an episode's worth of content over eight episodes like others would. I hope the remaining episodes have better choices for BGM(less suspicion), have less animation errors, and do not exclude important scenes that would help explain what's going on.

The upcoming episodes are really important and I hope they're done well.

I never said they were enough, but I always knew it would have gone this way. However I didn't think they'd have to cut that much.

I'm perfectly fine with how the anime is proceeeding so far, I have no idea how much is being cut out but I assume it's nothing 100% nececcary for plot progression considering it's cut.

I'm not planning on playing the VN either unless I manage to obtain it under certain conditions. So all I have to settle with is Deen's work.

My only regret is that I can't talk about the series on the same level as the VN users. D=>

You're kinda lucky in a way. I don't enter much of the actual VN discussions anymore because, despite having finished all 5, I still get headaches reading people's posts.

DEEN is doing a good job with being faithful and showing all the truly important scenes. Someone who's only watched the anime can make theories about on the level of a VN reader. The biggest difference between the two information wise, is the VN has more red truth. But an anime watcher can quickly and easily see which lines were omitted.

I tried to put myself in an Anime watchers shoes, and I couldn't see how they would understand anything at all, they most likley were confused to begin with, and now got butt secked by this random little girl who looks like a young Eva being a witch and summoning bunnies.
