Does anyone know the name of the new ED? I gotta know because it's been stuck in my head all weekend and so now I wanna try and get it on my Ipod somehow so I can try and figure it out on my acoustic. Anyway if anyone even knows the name it would be much appreciated.

Patience, patience... we still have to see how things are going to play out.
Remember that this is a children's show. What you should or shouldn't expect to see is different from what you'd see if the show was made for grownups. "Forced morality" goes with the territory, although personally I don't feel like I've seen an excessive amount of that. Then again, I write for kids myself, so I have a better idea of what to expect. |

I think the Queen is faking it and pretends to be clueless and naive. So Daimiya would make a mistake later on by under-estimating her; the Queen can then deal with him when she has enough evidence about his plan to overthrown her or his plan of the assasination.
As for the "Mating" scene I think it's actually quite well-done, well, at least better than the "dragon" scene in the anime of Fate/Stay Night. |

It's quite different from those shows and also spans a much longer time frame. It's also much more of a children's show, but that's not a bad thing. There are some naive points, but it's a heart-warming, slow-paced coming-of-age story. It gets more and more interesting as Erin grows up, so give it another go and judge for yourself.

If you're looking for the same kind of intricate political intrigue that you find in Moribito or certainly in Twelve Kingdoms, you might be a bit disappointed. There's definitely something afoot in Erin's world, but so far we've only gotten a few looks at it. She focuses on her work and her studies as everything goes on around her. That may change in the remaining episodes, but we don't know yet. (Well, unless anyone has read the books...) |
