The Earl found a way to make the Akuma undetectable by Allen's eye! And the Akuma that arrived at the orphanage is a level 4!

G turns out to be the kid in chapter 172 (the one who boob grabbed Emilia), and it turns out that he gives the money he keeps stilling to the church because it seems to be closing (thus explaining why he didn’t turn to a fallen one). He seems to have a tragic past, as his father thought he could hid the (what he thought to be a valuable gem) Innocence by making his kid swallow it. Damn it, now I feel bad for the kid.

By the way, Kanda is a monster. No, really, he is. Just look at what he does at this chapter. He threatened a kid with a sword while making a face that can make grown men cry, as well as attempt to forcefully take the kid back to the Order.

Emilia (she works at the orphanage) seems to have changed her mind about Kanda after seeing how he treats children. Kanda, that idiot.

I hope the kid won’t end up joining the order. Can you imagine if he meets with Lenalee or Miranda

Honestly, Kanda's ruthless coldheartedness started to piss me off.

Does the guy understands any meaning to the word tactile and considerate?

I just hope Emilia becomes Kanda's match to properly put him in place.

The kid's proper introduction in the storyline revels up a new air of freshness.

Timothy, as the phantom thief G, did what he must in order not to lose his home.

His father abused him by forcing him to swallow that jewel, which may or not have turned to be his Innocence integrated on his body.

Overall, a good chapter but disliked it for one thing.

I'm not very welcomed to Hoshino-sensei throwing another Level 4 against Kanda, Marie, and Allen.

Barely twenty chapters ago, the Order averted a catastrophic ruin against the first Level 4, and I do not think that Allen had just gained enough experience to match on equal footing against another Level 4.

Hence, it is ridiculously haxx for the mangaka to throw another über-level Akuma this early.
Might work if it has been a swarm of Level 3.

I mean it'll be seem bull if Allen is able to take on this second Lv. 4 with relative ease after so few experience. Add in that the Earl now upgraded this Akuma, so as not to be alerted by Allen's cursed eye.

Therefore, I have this hunch that Allen's eye will evolve a second time in this arc.

Well, seriously, Kanda's actions is to confirm that he's not another Jerkass with a Heart of Gold, just a Jerkass (at least to men. He's definitely more polite to Lenalee.)

Actually, I'm surprised that we have confirmation that Marie is indeed blind. Secondly, I'm glad Kanda is that mean, he'll be perfect to scare the crap out of that little brat

Thirdly, I think everybody here knows that it would be pointless and a waste of resource to send in any numberof Level 3s as long as Allen and Kanda is on the field, and judging by this new barrier that the Lv 4 set up (assume) they were definitely expecting to run into Allen Walker.

Now I think you're overreacting alittle Guido, you're under the assumption that the game plan would be Allen fights and wins the Lv 4 on the spot, but what I'm thinking is another hide and seek game... With Timonthy's head on the line. Of course, I'm also not counting out the possibility that there would be more Akumas around the corner.


Still frankly, I wasn't expecting to see that ugly muck again... But maybe it's because the anime just recently ended with the Lv 4 that it us too quick to introduce another one... But the truth is that the Lv 4 in the manga has been defeated several, several months ago, so it's not too soon at all.

I think Allen's eye will evolve too. But it all depends on Hoshino-sensei.

Overall, I think is a straight forward chapter until the few end pages. No doubt,an enjoying chapter to me until the few end pages. Now I'm starting to believe that there be more upper level Akuma. Will the final form be a jiji-Akuma?

Definitely agree with others on that it was way too soon for Hoshino sensei to bring it back to the scenes.
It's very irritating to see it reappear again when so much effort and losses were suffered in destroying the previous one, even if Allen & co can probably deal with it alot faster than last time.
Btw, anyone get a real strong mini-Lavi vibe when Timothy first appeared in the chapter?Suppose it's just the head band..

In addition to chapter 175 discussion. Emilia still help Timothy even though Timothy escape class(troublesome somehow I guess) and the boobie squeeze attack he gave her. Poor Allen been tied up by his nakama too.

Seriously, what did you guys expect? Do you not know Kanda? He acts pretty much the same way he's been acting since he was introduced. I kind of liked how he put that spoiled brat in his place. But then again...forcing people to become exorcists is wrong but it's not like they have any other choice, do they? The Order is in especially bad shape right now, so they cannot afford to be soft.

Personally, I don't see Kanda or Allen defeating the level 4 alone, so they'll probably have to teamwork. I kind of want Marie and Link to have a bigger role.

they have no choice but to force him to become an exorcist, if the Earl would find out about someone outside the order having an innocence he would send people out to kill him and all those around him. Akuma were already in the orphanage it was only a matter of time before they killed him.
