wow this week episode was totally wow , things scalated really weird, nanbaka goes full from a stupid, funny and weird anime to a really almost serious battle shounen and really hajime is a saitama family, guz this guy is insany op, even jyugo was "weak" against him, this guy is too OP, the tension and serious mod scalated to a whole new level here and loooks like the things will keep like that for a little more.
This anime really surprised with his "ridiculous look and premise" but really hidden something really serious behind all the crazyness.

Episode 8
Well this got pretty damn serious. Hajime is such a badass monster. He beat the living hell out of Jyugo to apprehend him. Jyugo's blade arms were not a problem at all for this bald badass. And the dog, monkey and the bird with heavy makeup took care of flamethrower guy. Uno is pretty pissed at Hajime for beating up Jyugo but he has to know that there is always this wall between inmates and prison guards. They may get close, but the prison guards won't get close enough to let it interfere with their work. Hajime was doing what he was told to; he did go a bit overboard but he was doing it all to apprehend the rogue inmate. He probably did all that because he suspected something off about Jyugo from the start and also because the guy turned into a sharp killing machine and you can't take any chances with a killing machine. Lol Hajime got suspended for 3 days and the warden was crying because she had no other choice but to punish him to keep her reputation. Now we could be getting close to learning about Jyugo and those shackles. The blind flamethrower is also in solitary confinement because he was wild too. He also knows something so if Jyugo refuses to talk then maybe he can tell something. |

Episode 9
Boy did this get deep. #634 also had an encounter with the scar guy. The scar guy used #634 as a lab rat for his flamethrower power and then discarded him after he achieved whatever he wanted to. So #634 wants those shackles and the blade power which comes with it so that he can kill the scar guy since that guy also supposedly has the blade power. I didn't really get most of that rambling. The summary of all that was that Jyugo doesn't have any desires and the shackles gave him an objective but he wasn't interested in achieving that objective because it will then end with him not having anything again. But even after Hajime has this revealed, Jyugo stands and says that he'll make the scar guy pay. Wasn't it just determined that Jyugo isn't actually interested in finding the scar guy? I think I'm lost. Anyway, it looks like we'll be returning to the comedy next week as we'll be seeing what happened while Hajime was suspended. |

Episode 10
Wow these guys. They'll take any female, even a robot. Asking the robot about its underwear lol. And the makeup guy was telling them about the prison which is "somewhere" in Japanese waters. And it sure has a lot of facilities, cinemas, ski slope, hot springs lol. But why the hell was he telling the inmates about the prison's layout? The monkey had them in control well. Lol Yamato didn't see anyone in the cell so he thought that no one was there. He thought the inmates were not in their cell. It's a big problem if they're not there lol. Lol the disease they killed Jyugo with. It sounded pretty scary. He Jyugo comes back and apologizes for turning his blades on his friends and what they got out of it was that Jyugo was apologizing Japanese style, so cool lol. Next week they'll be getting they're rewards for winning the tournament. We'll be seeing the Kamehameha guy again lol. |

Episode 11
25 and 69 are more or less who they are now thanks to 15 who helped them out during his trips after breaking out and stuff. And the two are thankful to him for that. 11 also had some changes thanks to 15 which will probably be shown next week I think. And the fiery buddy's dog prison guard has allowed him to accept building 13's inmates invitation on the condition that he reveal everything about his past because he has caused quite some trouble alongside Jyugo. Nanba prison sure is spoiling these inmates lol. I wonder if Nico would even want to leave after doing his time in prison. |

Episode 12
Man I didn't expect this show have so much seriousness. I thought this would be some stupid ridiculous fun throughout. But they're going serious here. Fiery guy had some incomprehensible disease where he starts burning suddenly. He was framed by some dude and got imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit. And he was turned into a guinea pig for the scar man. Though I think he should be thankful at least since he can now control his fires and won't burn himself anymore. The scar man couldn't stop the flames so he made him control them at least and reduce the damage it'll cause him. It's at least better than unexpectedly getting second degree burns. Lol The prisoners were arguing with the prison guard that they didn't get enough play time. You're god dann criminals! You don't argue with the nekoing prison guard dammit! You only follow rules. Lol in the end Jyugo said he's going out for a walk in the middle of the night. Dammit Jyugo! Prisoners don't have that freedom. Now the arsonist is back. Lol I was honestly expecting Hajime to suddenly pop out and punch Jyugo lol. Did not expect that guy. |

Episode 13
I was expecting Hajime to pop up from somewhere and fight the elf guy. Turns out Jyugo goes blade arm and fights him. Nanba prison sure has some horrible security with this random guy entering the prison lol. And here they boast about how impregnable they are. Jyugo was scared that his fellow inmates might be targeted next so he leaves the prison. But Hajime doesn't care about that. All that matters is that Jyugo, or anyone, doesn't escape this prison under his watch. I liked how Nico brought Jyugo down lol. That was funny. And then Uno got scratched and he flipped since his face is now ruined lol. This looked like it'll be a comedy anime only with some flashbacks into the characters past and nothing too serious. Boy did this take a surprising turn with 634 vs 15 during the new years tournament. Was not expecting this to go full serious like that. But it turned out pretty nice in the end. This was strong when it was random comedy and is strong when it is serious too. Good stuff. Now to wait for the second coming next season. |

Quote:
Or are they also secretly inline with the Elf/Scar dude?... I say this because literally in the same episode, they attempted to escape without triggering any alarms (well, until they triggered Traps, lol), yet they still found out they were escaping... Well, it's not surprising if it turns out to be true, since Elf and Scar dude is already experimenting on inmates from multiple Prisons... it means they have super high authority and access, possibly even more than the Warden for Nanba Prison... Which means even if they know of the Elf/Jyugo incident, they might keep a lid on it and just ignore it. (sorta like RL Prisons) |

Episode 14
Lol this episode. The guy was constantly trying to find a way to show that this season will continue with the serious tone the previous season had in the second half. But everything happening was pretty random and amusing. Lol the hair color changing syndrome. And Hajime was invincible. Dammit. So it appears that Hajime lost his hair due to hair loss and he didn't shave his head. He looks too young to suffer from such serious hair loss though. |

Finale
Dammit! Wtf was up with that damn cliffhanger?! Hajime had just been freed and was going to give Enki a good beating. But things just had to finish here. While the other guards all have weapons, Hajime is the only one who fights with his bare hands. That's how badass this baldy is. And he was about go even more serious than he usually is. Third season when? Liked this season just like the previous one. It had a more serious tone than before but it still retained it's ridiculous comedy. The visuals were nice here during the fight scenes. This last episode was extremely gay with Kiji and his gay rival together. Trois sweet talking the gay water monster was also gay. Now to wait for a season 3. |
