I mentioned this before, both the Clayz Saber and Rin are top class stuff, you can't go wrong buying them. (Same with the Kotobukiya ones)
Now if only Miyakawa-san would make a good Sakura one... Eh?

Speak of the devil

The Alter 1/6 swimsuit Saber is actually scheduled for Summer, while Ilya is scheduled for Fall.

For those of you who are kicking yourselves for throwing away your money for all these figures, you can look at reports for the recent Winter Wonder Festival like this, and be glad that you can't get get most of them.

Yeah, the Kotobukiya ones are wonderful too. Looks like I may have been confused. I missed Alter Saber's release, I assumed it was Sakura then Ilya. If Saber's already confirmed for Summer, hopefully we can see Rider in Winter 2007.

Having Crayz doing the PVC for Miyakawa's resin a waste actually.

Crayz releases always have that shining plastic gleam when shone under bright light, that's the sole reason why I didn't get that previous Rin and Saber fig from them last time round.

Well, for 1/6 scale she's not huge or anything, but the character isn't tall so it kinda makes sense. That being said, the Alter 1/6 Swimsuit Rin is a quarter inch or so taller than than the 1/6 Clayz models. Really not that noticeable though. Complaining that she's too small is kind nitpicky, IMHO. ^_^

I wasen't complaining - i was just lead to believe she's smaller then the model was telling me.. it still wouldn't have stopped me from placing the order.

Oh I wasn't saying that you were doing the complaining, it was just a general statement. ^_^

On a side note, looks like HLJ put up the Black Saber PVC for preorder.

LoL! No problem. I can be a sarcastic such-and-such a lot of the time, and unfortunately it's one of those things that just never really translates well over the net.

I just preordered the Black Saber. I probably shouldn't, but she's only a 1/8 and so she's fairly affordable. That and she's just too cool in that goth way...even with that glazed eye look. ^_^ I've also been pretty impressed with Alter's stuff, so it was just too easy to click that accursed "preorder" button. Grrr.

Oh don't worry.. i'm tempted to push the preorder button right this second - but i have to remember there's a few more Fate items i want to order first HLJ.. but she shall be mine.

I would preorder if I were sure of where I would be by the time they would be shipping it...

edit: Screw that, preordered already. >_> I'll just change the address when we're certain of the move location. Stupid school districts.

Awsome I my Saber 1/6 Clayz figure came in the mail today. I was wonder if anyone knows of a good place to buy like a display case so i can put it in since i dont want it to get dirty and dusty sincei dont wanna damage it when im cleaning off the dust later on. Or do you guys just leave it out in the open and its fine?

I was always thinking of order that, but the fact that Rin's smiling while she's in battle with Berserker put me off. ;_;

Nice pictures though. ^^
