Am I the only one who thinks that maybe Genbu (the new Libra saint) will end up being a good guy? specially after the updated opening and this image:

Why would they put Kiki together with Genbu, what's the relation? We know that Kiki is loyal to Athena, so maybe Genbu is/will be too?
Or maybe they will repeat the friendship of Shion and Dohko, and Kiki and Genbu are friends or something.

It's possible. I mean the Libra cloth did choose him. We know that if a cloth feels you aren't loyal enough to Athena it will stop letting you wear it.

In other news, the cast list for the next episode includes Kiki and Shun. I wonder, any chance Shun headed to the Aries temple?

Tell that to Ionia, Harbinger and Paradox. From what we get so far, they don’t even give a damn about Athena and they’re still wearing their cloths just fine.

I think it's obvious it's just that Kurumada hates Cancer.

I mean there were some quite questionable Silver Saints in the original story too but none of them loses their cloth either. So I never really bother about it.

Kurumada's just not very consistent when it comes to the settings, you know like how the Libre saint is suppose to be the only constellation being able to use weapons and all that? But you already have Andronmeda with those freaking chains! etc.

That’s why I almost never take the story of this franchise seriously. There’s glaring amount of inconsistencies, lack of logic, and plot holes in it. Just give me some eye-catching characters with interesting background + well-executed fights and I’m sold. In that subject, Hades: Sanctuary, Tenkaihen, and Lost Canvas deliver it very well. On the other hand, Omega and the original series have been a hit-or-miss. Well, at least Omega didn’t turn into total godawful like Hades: Inferno & Elysium.

What makes the Libra weapons not "tools of the cloths"? Also I think the other explanation floating around is that those non-Libra "weapons" are considered part of the cloth whereas the Libra weapons aren't ie anyone can take the Libra weapons if they have permission from the Libra saint, but that explanation doesn't work either because really early in the series when Seiya was fighting Ikki Shun was able to give Seiya the Andronmeda chains. Neither explanation is a satisfactory one and is just self-contradicting.

So yeah, I think Kurumada is just inconsistent so I don't really give it any deep thoughts.
