Episode 11 still is a faithful adaptation of the manga (plot & story, including hints on future events). Right off, the censorship of gratuitious sex scenes is confirmed, the relationships are shown but not the acts. This episode is not so much on action but as a stepping stone in setting up events for the future.

For the love of god, avoid Ikkitousen unless you just want bouncy boobies and action sequences; for everything else, go to Tenjou Tenge...the manga! It has absolutely gorgeous artwork and the battle sequences are just beautifully smooth.

But if not, just watch the Tenjou Tenge anime.

Story-wise, Tenjou Tenge is leagues better than Ikkitousen, however if you want some more blatant fan-service and nudity, Ikkitousen is the way to go

(also it depends on which type of girls you prefer to see in animes )

Episode 11

Just saw EP. 11 an I think things are pretty close to the manga (Minus some fanservice). One thing i did notice that was added was the part where
Spoiler:
I would feel sorry for Mistumi but I don't. I don't buy into his angst or any other reason people feel sorry for him (just my opinion though) . BTW, Im not an animator nor do I know alot about animation techniques, but can someone explain to me what the lines in the place of shaded areas (like knunkles, eyes, etc...) are supose to mean in the anime. I think the are supose to stand as a shadow effect but Im not sure. Also the closer I look the more I think that some of the frames look like traced from the manga.

It's just a drawing style commonly used in manga...and for whatever reason several anime crew use them in their drawings as well.

Thanks for the clarification sarcasteak. It's wierd to me that they use that in an ANime. I always thought that was manga technique .

it's an old style that's been around for years to represent shading or a shadow. Mostly seen in Manga or Comic Books. which reminds me i need to go buy a wizard and do some apraising. sorry random thought.

i'd say it's club dancing...but she might also be "up rocking." best way to explain up rocking (for those who don't know) would be how Eddie from Tekken 3 moves while he's just standing there. Or more plainly what Bob does in the opening before going down to his knee. it helps with momentum (SP?).

I just picked up this show and I love it. Seen up to epi 9. I just on't like the way the blonde kid grew so srong instantly in 2 episodes, somehow it feels unrealistic that he'd grow that fast all of a sudden. Apart from that, great show.

That's because the manga was originally supposed to be only 2 volumes or so, but then when it was succesfull the author continued it.

Heh

Now it is on volume 12 and not slowing down. I just got my volume 12 ordered. Stuff is getting insane. I have no idea how they can finish this anime in 26 eps. I hope they do it right though.

they are the same shows, and you cannot ask/mention where to get the episodes on this forum since it is licensed.

Mods know how to read spoilers too, you know.

Anyway, Tenjo Tenge = Tenjou Tenge (the extra 'u' just represents a longer 'ooh' sound.)

i know this is a anime but the people look far too old to be their ages. Bunsichchi?i know wrong spelling), stick guy, .mitsunomi, and ryuzaki don't look anywhere near their ages, Bun..... doesen't look 20 at all. The other 3 look a lot older than their teens. So old that they look rediculous in their school uniforms.
