W to slow, prepare Q, catch up and use the MS boost to chase. His ghouls would always target the nearest champion iirc...the decaying HP was kind of annoying but at least his cooldowns were good enough to be able to keep at least one minion out at all times. Hardest counter I faced was a GP stacking tiamats.

Rage

Ever since Renekton, we've been thinking about the potential of a rage-related system to Tryndamere's Bloodlust. We've utilized the resource system to manage Bloodlust stacks;

* The bar maxes out at 100 Rage

* Each normal hit Tryndamere does to any minion or champion grants 5 Rage

* Crits grant 10 rage

* Killing blows on anything grant double the rage (10 for hits, 20 for crits).

* Bloodlust's bonus is now based on the rage you have (for both the bonus stats and the heal).


Why change this, you may be asking? A few reasons drove this:

* Tryndamere is great in mid and low elo, but really falls off in more competitive play. This is largely due to an early game that's really binary, and how hard it is to do anything if you can't dominate your lane. The rage system evens this out a little bit.

* Bloodlust is hard to understand as the opponent, and watching the buff bar is not as optimal for the user experience. By moving the same mechanics into the resource bar, it's easier to see and communicate, plus generally "cooler"

* It makes sense! Tryndamere is a barbarian that uses rage-themed skills. A Fury meter would be what we would had done if the tech were in the same state when we launched.

We think this is going to be a nice update for Tryndamere, both for players who use him and players who fight him.

Sounds very good, last-hitting with Trynda is a pain in the ass early-game, and w/o stacks you couldn't really engage in combat for a certain kill. Doesn't mention how/when it depletes though...besides consumption, that is.

EDIT: Had a really nasty game today at solo queue...facing a 5-man premade french team with an average of 600 wins each, I had to delay my build due to ward costs, which increased because we lost mid and bottom early, and then it just went downhill...surrender at 35. Makes me feel like a noob again

How does solo-q face off full premades? Pretty sure they have separate queues for them (normal, solo-q ranked, premade ranked).

So i encountered some Yorick , he is ok now , far from OP as some people said.
And for Leona , wait for more days to judge her but she looks like a real tank , lot of cc & ok dmg.

Yorick is like lanewick 3.0 (Udyr being 2.0); you just can't beat his sustainability in lane. And unlike Udyr, he doesn't have to rely on a bug for his sustainability. He's not so much OP as it is very annoying to lane against.

Bought Leona and managed just what I wanted with her, to have a tanky caster. Not a tank for obvious reasons, although her passive CAN draw attention in an AoE team. I like the fact that she can burst perfectly by charging QW and nailing E just to have a shield burst, stun and the occasional double stun with R. Do we have any other champs with double stuns?

Leona's total stun duration: 1.25 + 1.5 = 2.75

Of those comparable to Leona....

Rammus taunt/Fiddles Fear: 3s

Amumu: 1s stun + 2s of 'almost stun' = 3s


Disappointed in Leona though. Was promised short duration, short cooldown on her main stun, but its on an 8s base cooldown at rank 5. Udyr gets the almost the same duration and he stuns every 8s at bear lvl 1.

Bring it down to something like 5 or 6 seconds, and I'd be happy, even if they have to totally nerf the base damage on that skill. For the record, Rammus is a 3s taunt with a 12s CD, so having an equivalent to this is a 1.25s stun with a 5s CD.

True, her supposed short-CD stun is in fact rather long, even with 40% CDR. So, I've seen people play her pure AP, pure tank, AP/tank and even pure AD. What's your favourite build?

Yeah her stun isn't that great , and her ulti's stun too , the range = a big minion so 1 champ. But she also have E , a root for less than 1s but well.
What is great for her is her W buff , 70 AR/MR something like that , which is big.
I encountered a Leona with 4,7K+ hp , she was unkillable but well , i guess yes with Madred & arpen but with only 2 carrys on your team you can't do lot of things against 3 carrys + support + Leona.

Imo Pure AP = Useless , very weak ratio.
Pure Tank = She's tough but you can ignore her , she's not a big threat.
Offtank AP = Dunno
Pure AD = Wth
Offtank AD = Dunno

Surprised me as well, I suspect trolls...I've come to like her more because she's a real team player, a lot of her contribution comes from her passive which needs others to land hits. Very nice for some 100 dmg at LV18, that's about 300 damage to each enemy, counting resistances.

He is not supposed to be a good laner. If he is to be balanced, he must have some weak points to compensate for his wtfpwn duels...

So finally Monkey King is the next champ , he looks interesting.

I guess for skills :

Q - Spin his staff.
W - Fly on a cloud which deals damage on the way.
E - A passive + active
R - Kamehameha
