Anyways..

Do you think that everyone in the game will have a team?
so far it looks like:
naruto, sasuke, sakura
gaara, temari, kankurou
shikamaru, ino, chouji
kiba, shino, hinata
neji, lee, tenten
sarutobi, kakashi, gai
itachi, zabuza, haku
orochimaru, jirayia, tsunade

this leaves out Mizuki and Iruka.. I doubt that they both will be on the same team, since they are practicly thesame character.

that's 25/26 characters.
which leaves place for 1/2 or 4/5 additional characters if they all will be in a team, depending on if Mizuki will be in his own team.

Mizuki is just a clone of Iruka. They have removed the character clones so if Mizuki will be in it he will still be alt-x costume for Iruka.

Seeing that Itachi is with Zabuza and Haku (missing nin team) brings me hope that Kisame will be a alt-x character for Zabuza =)

I think Tommy will try to include all the characters that are in the PS2 game. Mainly Kabuto and Kisame.

I think they'll once again save some characters for GNT4, to be released in december 2005.

There's a guy at the GameFAQs boards who posted almost an entire forum page stuffed with info about the game. You should really check it out if you want to know everything about the best GameCube game ever <--- fanboy mode.

Did anyone consider that snow-ninjas from the movie will be in the game? seems like one of them is in the PS2 game.

Also, I dont think they need to save characters.. for the 5th game, they could make Asuma, Kurenai, first hokage, second hokage, fourth hokage

I agree with you that there's no need to save characters. Also why did they add some Naruto movie characters to the PS2 game

Sasuke - well, he had his original blue suit and his tight black (and quite camp) suit as well in NGNT2 so I guess so
Kakashi - well, there's a chance but I wouldn't really be bothered if it didn't appear. He would just look like any ANBU.
Shikamaru and Gaara - well, considering NGNT closely follows the anime, I highly doubt it. Many anime-only watchers don't want any spoilers if they were to play the game.

Arrr!! Seems like buying an GameCube slowly becomes more and more inevitable for me :-/ But after reading that the GC and PS2 titles are actually two different games it seems like I have no other choice... grmbl....

No worries... you will not regret your Gamecube purchase... I bought one last December for the sole reason of playing Naruto: GNT 2... to this day... GNT2 is my only Gamecube game... it is very fun... and on days when I get sick/bored of it... I just play the PS2 or Xbox or Dreamcast...

You need to buy super smash borther melee, Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, Mario Kart, Resident Evil, and lots more

Oh and Naruto 3 when it comes out

It would be awesome if they instead of just recoloring the models (when there are more then one, or you choose the alternate color), they give them different costumes.
Sasuke white and blue, Sasuke black
Orochimaru standard, Orochimaru chuunin teacher (awesome costume ;))
Sarutobi white costume, Sarutobi battle costume
Kakashi standard, Kakashi ANBU

1; how do you pull off Shika's infinate combo?
2; whats the pros/cons of using Lee's first gate opening?

(thought I had more then this, but apparently not)

1. Is his combo really infinate? I got it going for a pretty long time before, but I didn't know you could pull it off forever.

2. There are no pros or cons; only the second gate opening.
