That makes it the fourth SOS-dan memeber that Lulu has eliminated; Tsuruya (honorary member), Yuki, Kyon, now Kyonko.

One wonders if the fangirls will be enough to take down Haruhi herself today with Hitman Reborn?

However there is another chance to get Kyonko back into the finals. That should start Sunday I think.

I think the best thing to do would be vote for the opponents of anyone and everyone (except Kyonko) that the fangirls might want to win. We will destroy them with our righteous anger! THIS! IS! SEITENKAN!

So, everyone, faster, go and vote for the one-and-only Ultra Director of the SOS!

Well right now that isn't all that hard to do Since half of the remaining known matches are male verse female. The fangirls will vote for the male in most cases. The only girl on girl fight is entirely Rozen Maiden (Shinku vs Gin-sama). I have no idea who the fangirls would vote for there. I'm with Gin for voice love. Others would be for Shinku so she can get into ISML 09.

We'll see on Saturday/Sunday (depending on where you live) what the groups are for the "seconds" rounds. All the remaining 156 characters will have a second chance, but it will be cutthroat since it is one winner per group only with something like 10 characters per group at first. At this time all of the Haruhi characters are in those groups, except Haruhi. Haruhi may join them tomorrow if she loses.

Only four characters will get through all the "seconds" rounds to the finals.

Well, another reason to rush down to Korean Super Moe to vote.

Wouldn't Shami-chan's voice just need to be commanding rather than evil?

(I'm up for Rie Tanaka, though)

True, but if it's evil, it's more fun, in a way.

Fangirls, why?! Lulu's not moe. We'll be back...

Still for Kyonko to get this far is pretty cool.

How about Rie Kugimiya for Shami(F)? She is the Palmtop Tiger after all.

Fanaticism at some levels is unhealthy for a character. When it becomes more about attacking the fan than the character, something is wrong. This path leads to the lower pits reserved for the likes of Mad Dog. We best not go there, else Kyon-chan will be hate voted just to spite its more raging fans.

EDIT: And Haruhi losses to a man.

Given the normal gender distribution is roughly 51% women, and 49% male, these results aren't that impressive. In a contest based on attractiveness/sex appeal, I really doubt that someones not going to vote for the opposite gender. All these results show is that women had more representation in the contest in question.

But seriously, this is like having a competition where various types of Submarines and space Shuttles are allowed to compete with each other, in a bid to find out which is the best sub/space shuttle. And you have Submariners and astronauts being the ones who are voting. It won't tell you which one is the best space Shuttle or Submarine. It'll only tell you who has more in attendance.

Koreans are the craziest peoples

Maybe it's an innate trait? I mean I'm quite crazy myself too . . .

Course this is coming from the guy who's getting close to breaking the sound barrier with a potato cannon. . .which may or may not reinforce my point.
