Hm... I wont tell how it ends, but everyone probably already knows. I was happy with the ending, but thought it could have ended a little better with more detail.
I just did the same thing ><
I'd like to see more anime, maybe I'll see the OVA but 30 minutes alone won't do enough justice.

Haha. I spoil everything for myself. At least I'm not alone.

The Inu-verse is abuzz with word of a possible S2 announcement on July 22. That would certainly qualify as big news...

The anime version certainly deserves a better ending that it had...

And there's no reason not to, since there would be no fillers. I want to see kaiju-size Naraku animated

Possibly by KyoAni, ne? AWell, one can dream - they were tangentially involved in the first series after all.

Courtesy of the Rumic World and Inuyasha Information From Japan blogs:

The Shonen Sunday #31 reveals that a big news about InuYasha is announced in #34 on July 22.
Generally speaking, this description means the 2nd anime series starts in October.

Well if this does happens that means we will finally get the 2nd half of the manga now in animated form.

That's nice. It's only fair to the anime fans that sat through so many episodes of filler.

AFAIC the anime didn't really "end" at all. It just kind of stopped.

true LOL
it just ended saying we'll beat naraku someday
which was said like 1000 times throughout the whole series! its like they came back to SQ 1.... the anime was waste of time IMO... many useless eps. -_-

They still have to rights to air the first series (which as been going on for 7 years now) and what's stopping them is that Viz hasn't licensed it but given that the US manga clearly hasn't caught up as of yet to where the anime left off and Adult Swim's own yielding status of anime it seems pretty slim so maybe in about a year we'll see...

I'd be thrilled if the show starts up again. I wouldn't be surprised since there seems to have been renewed interest in Inuyasha, with that Black Tessaiga OVA.

I'd imagine AS is pretty excited about this. That was one of the only animes they had with a consistent following and ratings during reruns.

Glad to hear Inuyasha gets a second season. The first season wasn't a real ending at all, it just... stopped the whole series.

Plus, no filler. Always a bonus.

Hopefully if it gets dubbed, they can get back the original English VAs. I liked the Inuyasha dub, it was definitely one of the better ones out there.
