Sadly, I too have to admit that I didn't even notice the bike. Crazy implements they got there. Episode 8 might not be all seriousness if that's the case.

it is a common thing in anime. girls' breasts tend to increase in size depending in the situation for the sake of fanservice. Learn to accept it, most famous breasts to increase in size were the one from Yoko in gurren laggen when she changed costumes.

don't tell me you never seen training wheels in a bicycle, the legs are just more extreme "training" wheels for the motorcycle.

within the anime plot it was to make it safer. the scriptwriters and director did it as a gag because i doubt anyone really find that appealing, at least i don't.

why so much un-needed hate for charlotte? aside from the political aspect is it because she's too friendly with teppei? it's not all her fault..
1) she met teppei first and not in the most normal of circumstances, she most likely came to like him a lot.
2) she finds out he is her friend's fiance through an arrange marriage... seeing as how she doesn't see sylvia to be remotely interested in teppei ...she figures sylvia is in the same arranged marriage that she is in and that they both want no part off (this is just a hypothesis)
3) she just recently had a heart to heart talk with the three other girls, they all confess to love teppei. sylvia does not mind and says she will be fine with whoever he falls for. that's pretty much sylvia giving the other girls the "ok" regarding teppei
4) teppei knows he is engaged and yet he prefers to flirt and seek out charlotte
