Oh yeah, my licensed Anime DVD collection grew by three, but it's still small compared to others:

Here is what the collection looks like now

Don't worry, collections always seem to grow very, very, very fast... It's not always a good thing

My (original Japanese) manga collection grew by more than twenty-five in the past year, and I'm gaining at least one more every month, so I guess that's not bad.

Hey,

Does collecting Jdrama and organizing it on 2 terrabytes of hard drive, and making backups count as collecting?

Because I have a lot of jdrama series on my harddrives, and would cry if they ever blew up .....

for days... I would cry...

But one shouldn't collect too fast... it's balance between your reserves, earning and spending...

Yeah it counts (though I don't consider it an otaku collection)

I plan on beginning my collection of decorative bladed weaponry when I get out of college and actually have a place to keep it. Dorms aren't exactly the place to have such a thing.

Though it's not a physical object, I also collect wallpapers I fancy. Over the past year it's grown quite extensive. You can find my collection here. It's mostly abstract imagery, but you can find video game or anime ones here and there. And a lot of space images. I kind of have too many of those.

Display. I've no intention of using them, and the aesthetics I prefer aren't exactly great for actual combat.
Spoiler for example, I like this but it's not exactly great for fighting:

I'm... quite crazy for twin-bladed weaponry. Among the few items I already have in my collection, my favored ones are those.

I basically collect anything Japanese that I find appealing, anything Italian Renaissance related, anything Leonardo da Vinci related, and weapons.

I'll have to put up some pictures of my collection when I can get my hands on a working camera XD

@Minoru: looks like those 3 pronged weapons...

@Marka13: Give a couple of examples (the only thing I thought was related was the da Vinci code or something like that...)

Anyone here collects model cars? I have a small collection of stuff, not too impressive, but I mainly collect models of classic/modern Japanese cars, touring cars and sometimes muscle cars.

Hell, I am one of the few people that has a 1:43 Toyota Camry in their collection...

Wish I had your hobby. I love firearms.

Any chance you have a customised lever action weapon?

I thought it is a Western Custom M37 like the one in RE3.

Regarding the SMLE, maybe you can do a video of a Mad Minute on it?

1.) What do you collect? Why?
I collect train tickets...I've been commuting to uni for about 6 years now, and I systematically put the daily ticket in my right pocket, and move it to the left one when it expires. One day I found my left pocket full and thought, why not?
Quote:
What is your favorite aspect of that thing?
Their quantity Currently got about 900 tickets, it reminds me how much I've paid all this time...and when I was in the army, I found myself burning one every night, counting down the days to my release...
Quote:
What is the most prized item in your collection?
A pink ticket, it's unique like that.
