Hm, must be me. I don't see why people just wanna be arms and legs to create a semi different Exia.

The first Exia Repair would have been way cooler.

I prefer Exia R2...I don't like the cables having around on the original Exia.

ako07: Would you happen to have any links regarding sanding and coating tutorials at dannychoo? I'm always eager to learn.

On an unrelated subject, have any of you guys ever bought gunpla (or for the matter, anything) at HMVjapan? they seem like a reliable site, ship worldwide, have SAL (essential to my pocket) and have decent discounts on lots of gundam stuff

No offence, but SDs are not meant to be displayed unpainted. Despite their small size, I think they're more difficult to build than HGs/MGs because of the intricate masking required.

would anyone recommend a cheap website to buy gundam kits? i usually purchase mine from HLJ and choose the SAL method but due to the poor conversion between the Yen and Australian dollar, it kinda put me off.

I heard that there were some sites in china that had pretty cheap kits (a Strike freedom full burst would only cost $90AUD!!!!! my local hobby store stocks it for $179 AUD ><), if anyone knows them pls let me know cos i really want the sword impulse MG!!!

on a completely unrelated note, i'll post up some of my MG collection soon ><

i checked ebay already, even the HK one but although they are cheaper than retail stores, they are still more than if i ordered from HLJ. i know of an asian online store called eachnet.com, its like the china ebay and stuff there is so dirt cheap and 99% (if not all) is all legit. but unfortunately they dont do overseas shipping, bummer ><

Gundam markers and acrylic paints are easily wiped off by using cotton swaps with rubbing alcohol (make sure it has no acetone).

Enamel paints can be wiped off by vigorously rubbing with denatured ethanol.
