If they do have the intent of following the light novels, then they should start off with "what happened to Kaori?" a.k.a. the Amakusa Arc. They might also adopt the Yamisaka Ouma mini-arc.

their won't be 2nd season this year becuase their are already line up for winter 2010. The most early will probably winter 2011.

Twice after volume 7 the Amakusa sect played a central role in the story.

It'll be sad to see them skip volume 8, the ending was quite awesome seeing both Touma and Mikoto team-up as well as Accelerator's return...

They should do the Crossbow guy story with a few addons as the first episode, an excellent way to re-introduce the characters to the viewers, it wouldn't even take a whole episode... And at the end, they can add the prologue of vol 7 with Laura and Stiyl.

Abou the Sisters arc in Railgun manga...don't you think it is extremely pointless for us reader to participate the fights since we all know that Misaka will fail to do anything as it shown in the Index manga.

Most likely vol8 will be included in the Railgun manga instead. Touma and Accel's role in vol8 is pretty minor, after all...

As for the Index anime adaptation, I really wish they didn't skip the Yamisaka Ouma miniarc. It showed how destructive it is to read an original text, which is important to explaining Oriana's magic in vol9.

Is the the last chapter of the 5th volume which is named An arrow made of Azusa. It was adapted to the manga in the chapters 25&26.

ah. Its about the one who kidnapped index and try to steal the diabolic books but even without complete transfer of one book. His half dead already. That one was a good opening. I wonder on what happen on the girl. And what happen to touma though I think he didn't finish his homework.

railgun chapter even took long for someone to upload it. So chances are low. We will just need to wait. And I hate using share to even try looking for the raw of it.

The releases are irregular, so it's better to wait. It says in the manga that they're going to release another volume this month, finishing the Accelerator/Last Order story.
