The difference is that Lovable idiot is exist for the sake of humor as a sidekick, while idiot messiah is a standard template of main character.

Well it's for the feasibility of a crossover. The hero I want to pair Chifuyu up with is a lovable idiot that has more hotblooded shonen-ness in his pompadour than Ichika will ever have.

Don't think it might work since Ichika's less of a hot blood. The line between hot blooded and "idiot who doesn't think before acting" is thin.

Hard to classify Ichika, maybe an assassin (low def, high speed & attack). Charles might be the ranger/magic knight (range & melee balanced), Laura might be the berserker, Cecilia being Archer, Kanzashi being a mage/shaman, Tatenashi a paladin etc.

I get the rest, but why is Kanzashi a Mage and Tatenashi a Paladin? If anything, Kanzashi has the most offensive build.

Mage has the most powerful range attack (and sometimes, those attack are bombardment type), Though I don't know about her defense and speed. Paladin always been a close range bruiser with limited magic.

Well, my knowledge of RPG world is bottled, as far as I knew Paladin/Crusader stereotype are strictly holy magic. This does not apply if everyone can use elemental magic, rather than specific class.

Jack of all stat, actually. Her strength is aiming for enemy's weak point. (fighting warrior art long range, fighting mage at close range etc)

Assassin/Archer: Simple clothes that minimizes restriction, sometimes includes leather armor & gear
Ranger/Magic Knight/Warrior: often a combination of metal, leather and clothes
Paladin/Berserker/Black Knight: full body armor/heavy armor
Mage/cleric/priest etc: enchanted robes with low physical protection but enhanced magic defense

Those aren't necessary rules though, even in the original D&D (the uber grandpa of all RPG)
