I just realised the captain table will be Telestina vs Konori senpai vs Frenda vs Kougou.

And I am looking forward to the Toyone-chunnibyou crossover. Hope Dekomori has a part to play to complete the setup.

And I just saw that the ending will be sang by the 15 girls we took the last month to Guess.
この手が奇跡を選んでる "This hands are choosing a Miracle" ... Guess the tittle fit but there will be no miracle for them.

I think the possibility is actually there. The whole bloom-on-the-mountain thing with Saki/Shizu sort of sets up a predictable ending, so maybe Ritz is doing a bit of a red herring with it. Or, she could just go with it and Saki kills everyone in the last round.

But then again, the original focus of the story was Saki and Nodoka's relationship, so maybe winning the finals isn't as important as them being yuri forever in Ritz's view. Maybe Kiyosumi doesn't win and it's all mahjong is tanoshii anyway and all that.

Hmm ... I kinda thought that the driving theme of the story was Saki and Teru, with Nodoka being the one who gives Saki strength and helps her stand up on her two feet to face the reconciliation with her older sister....

You could say its both, altough Saki and Nodoka's relationship hasn't really had much focus in a while, but I'm expecting that to change before the finals.
