This episode was pure gold. All the episodes we got so far were great (just as great as the first season was) but this one in particular was really good. Maybe because it didn't feel as rushed as the others? I haven't read the manga so I'm just guessing but that's the impression I got this time. This is such a good series and it's really unfortunate we can get a more faithful adaptation, but I'm happy enough a 2nd season happened to being with since anime sales weren't good at all (even if yes, I know the manga sells like hotcakes, but still...) |

I'm loving these more lightearted episodes but I'm really looking forward to some more development in the story side of the equation. I wonder if we'll get any more insight into Koro sensei's origins during this season.

Anyway did anyone catch what was Nagisa's codename? I think I missed it.

Oh my gosh those codenames killed me XD
it was a great episode for both character spotlights since I've been getting more interested in Justice's character ever since the end of last season. Just a question, I understood most codename references but not sure about the meaning of the codenames for the guys in Terasaka's group? Picture book Graduate? Loofah? Home Plate/Base? (is this about being good in Home Ec?) Really not sure what Terasaka's name of Pseudo-Takaoka one is.. |

Takuya is called "Loofah" because he works as a dishwasher in his family ramen restaurant. "Home Base" I have no idea. Itona's real codename should be something along the line of "rolling riser", I have no idea where "picture book graduate" comes from, maybe there's a connection I'm missing

Episode 5
So it's Isogai time. He's the class rep who's poor and works part-time which is against school rules but he has to do it to support his family. Asano uses this as an excuse to get back at 3-E for the exam defeat and challenges them to a pole toppling match. Lol the kids use their assassin skills in the sports festival. Isogai proves his leadership skills in the match. They showed the difference between the two different kinds of leaders, Gakushu and Isogai. In the first season, during the baseball match, they showed the difference between the two educators, Koro and Asano, through a game. Now they're doing the same with the students through another game. Isogai comes up with some unconventional stuff and puts off Gakushu. With his hands full, he can't come up with a plan for the others whereas Isogai had everything thought out perfectly. The engrish was strong here, very strong. Nice episode, again. |

Isogai part-time job.
Of course he got busted by Asano & the creeps. Pole topping stand off. Koro sensei was so proud of his students ^^ Asano was doing everything he could to win. It was very satisfying to see Asano's team lose!!
