Okay, how's about erasing the edges with the brush tool set to about 25% opacity, so that you can get a blend-like edge that goes from your pic to the bg... much like I've used in my banner entries.

The point is to get rid of the hard edges and replace them with soft edges. Compare the first two Last Exile banners I did to see what I'm talking about.

Lol k I will put the original one up then Sometimes blending goes too out of hand (especially when you're trying to finish a project for school at the same time )

It wont get selected no matter how good it is.. Play with the majority in your mind.. means, dont use old series thats prolly forgotten by most peoples.. Use cutesy anime char as main image, etc etc..

Well, Jojo did manage to sneak a nipple in the holloween contest (3rd placing too IIRC).. but thats an old story

btw... for ur latest Kagami sig.. the text gaara, G got cut out for its taill.. and CK is right, the unblend one is better
