That was an awesome ending. It really was complete and does Da Capo justice, unlike Avenger, which I was waiting for the same amount of time but was a complete let down.

I totally agree - we need Da Capo Season 2, or at least an OVA to continue the story! Come on Circus and everyone...

Wow... over at last.... sort of really feeling empty right now... what should I watch next?

D.C DaCapo's ending was pretty nice, with Sakura almost breaking down, and Junichi comforting her.

In a way the ending with the main group was really nicely done, but on the other hand I thought the side characters didn't get enough.

But oh well... I suppose if the side characters got too much airtime then the focus would be lost.

Still... while satisfied with the ending, I wish there was more.

^_^
I wonder if there's going to be season 2?... oh second thought... maybe D.C. 's better left off ended like this. ^_^

P.S. Why did they bother to show the 'pink bear' in the ending OP sequence?
(sounds weird... the ending OP... but it is the OP song... and it is the ending sequence...)

Did the bear actually appear in an episode that I missed? or is it there to promote D.C. PS?

What a fantastic episode 26 was. It went exactly how I imagine it would go. It ended perfectly in my book not like other anime endings cough Avenger. Ya but anyways I'm glad I didn't dump this series earlier like what other ppl did. I hope they're will be a S2 or some sort of Special or OVA. I wanna see the adult Sakura, what if shes hotter then Nemu or Moe. LOL

Well... I must express my absolute joy in watching this series, both the OP and the ED were great. The only thing I didn't like of course was just WHO Asakura ended up with in the end... Oh well... the more for me :fingers:

Spoiler:

I just have a couple questions regarding education and school system in Japan (and maybe Asia in general). Junnichi and Nemu started the anime and school as 9th graders right? Seniors in middle school. So that means their elementary school lasts 1-6th grade? Then 7-9th in middle, and 9-12th in high school.

You know what we should do? Post a picture up for the pink bear in each of the episode if you manage to find it (her). Something to waste time with...

You are correct. It's actually K-6 for elementary, but the rest that you had is correct. Silly in my book, but that's how they've got it broke down.

I still can't figure out why I watched the whole thing. I guess the incest thing came up just at the point where I had seen ONE TOO MANY of those damned side stories. It was certainly the most dramatic plot option they could have sorted out of x number of game endings...

If I played this game I wouldn't go for either Sakura or Nemu first. Catgirl (nyan), then the nabe sisters... oh well.

The problem is in the original PC game, you have to have cleared Nemu, Sakura, Kotori, and Moe (all four characters that have a connection to the sakura tree) in order to get into Yoriko's scenario. In a sense, Misawa Yoriko is a "hidden character" in the original PC game.

In addition, (although since you already watched the anime, it is pretty useless but,) if you played this game with absolutely no background knowledge about the "D.C.~da capo~," the best story outline is clearing the game in the following order:

1. Nemu
2. Sakura
3. Kotori
4. Moe
5. Mako
6. Miharu
7. Yoriko
8. special "D.C." extra episode

A lot of ero-games (although they don't have a "locked" system that disables you from playing one certain character before another) usually has a "recommendation clearance order" in the game manual so you get the most direct "punch" out of the story. For example, in the game "Kanon," they tell you that you should opt to clear the game in the following order:

1. Mai
2. Makoto
3. Shiori
4. Nayuki
5. Ayu

Of course, if you've already seen the anime, this is useless as you already know the story. But if one were to play the game first with absolutely no background knowledge about "Kanon," then you would understand that by playing in this order, that all the "miracles" that you witnessed all leads up to Ayu's wish.
